This study was to examine the effects of combined exercise on health related fitness and physical self-concept in obese middle school students. The experimental group were 12 students who participated in combined exercise consisting of 4 day a week 60 minutes a day exercise program for 12 weeks. The control group consisted of 12 students. Health related fitness factor were weight and body fat, strength, flexibility, balance, muscular endurance, power, psychological factors were physical self-concept. They did treadmill running and weight training for 60 minutes four time per week for 12 week. As the health related fitness and physical self-concept were measured at the baseline, 6 week, 12 week. Research design applied 2(combined exercise group and control group)×3(pre-session, middle-session and post-session) factorial design with repeated-measure. On a basis of the measured data, mean and SDs in the groups and measuring points were produced and two-way ANOVA by repeated measure was conducted to test mean differences between two group and between the measuring points. The results obtained from these procedure indicated that the consecutive combined exercise program weight and body fat, strength, flexibility, muscular endurance and power, health related fitness and on physical self-concept such as health, flexibility, physical activity, body fat, endurance.
