‘의미연결망 분석’을 활용한 국내 유아특수교육 연구 동향 분석: 2002년부터 2022년까지 전문 학술지 논문을 중심으로

본 연구는 유아특수교육 관련 국내 연구의 키워드 의미연결망을 분석함으로써 유아특수교육 분야의 연구 동향을 파악하고 향후 연구 방향성을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2002년부터 2022년까지 총 21년간 학술지에 등재된 999편의 논문을 수집하였다. 수집된 논문에서 추출된 2,536개의 키워드를 바탕으로 정제 과정을 거쳐 연결중심성을 확인하고 의미연결망을 분석하였다. 정제 및 수정된 키워드를 대상으로 KrKwic 프로그램을 활용하여 출현빈도 분석을 실시하였고, 주요 키워드로 의미연결망 분석과 중심성 수치를 산출하였다. 그 다음 TEXTOM을 통해 매트릭스 파일을 생성하고, 이를 기반으로 사회연결망 분석 소프트웨어인 UCINET6, NetDraw를 활용하여 의미연결망을 시각화하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전체 기간 내 가장 높은 출현 빈도를 보이는 키워드는 ‘통합교육’, ‘장애유아’, ‘유아특수교사’, ‘발달지체’ 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 전체 기간 내 연결중심성, 근접중심성, 매개 중심성이 모두 높은 키워드는 ‘통합교육’, ‘장애유아’, ‘유아특수교사’, ‘발달지체’, ‘연구동향’ 등으로 나타났다. 셋째, 분석 시기별 키워드 동향에서는 공통으로 높은 출현 빈도를 보이는 키워드와 각 시기별 새롭게 등장한 키워드를 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 시기별 모두 높은 연결중심성을 보이는 키워드는 ‘장애유아’, ‘통합교육’으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 유아특수교육 관련 연구 동향을 키워드 중심으로 살펴봄으로써 다양한 의미연결 구조망을 확인하였고, 추후 유아특수교육 연구를 위한 다각적인 시사점을 논의하였다. The purpose of this study was to analyze the semantic network of domestic research related to early childhood special education to identify research trends in the field of early childhood special education in Korea and to suggest future research directions. To this end, 999 papers published in academic journals for a total of 21 years from 2002 to 2022 were collected. Based on the 2,536 keywords extracted from the collected papers, the connection centrality was confirmed through a refinement process and the semantic network was analyzed. The frequency of occurrence was analyzed using the KrKwic program for the refined and modified keywords, and semantic network analysis and centrality values were calculated for the main keywords. Then, a matrix file was created through TEXTOM, and based on this, the semantic network was visualized using UCINET6 and NetDraw, which are social network analysis software. The results of research are as follows. First, the keywords with the highest frequency of appearance during the entire period were ‘inclusive education’, ‘young children with disabilities’, ‘early childhood special education teachers’, and and ‘developmental delays’. Second, keywords with high connectivity centrality, proximity centrality, and mediation centrality within the entire period were ‘inclusive education’, ‘young children with disabilities’, ‘early childhood special education teachers’, ‘developmental delays’, and ‘research trends’. Third, keyword trends by analysis period were able to identify keywords that showed a high frequency of appearance in common by period and keywords that newly appeared in each period. Finally, the keywords showing high connection centrality by period were ‘young children with disabilities’ and ‘inclusive education’. This study identified various semantic connection networks by examining research trends related to early childhood special education with a focus on keywords, and discussed various implications for future research on early childhood special education.
