컨벤션 현장진행인력의 활동 경험과 진로자기효능감과의 관계

본 연구는 컨벤션 분야에서 활동하는 현장진행인력에 대해 탐구하여 이들의 활동경험과 진로자기효능감과의 관계를 고찰하는 연구이다. 컨벤션 현장진행인력에 대해 기존의 연구에서는 자원봉사자로서 간주해 왔지만 본 연구에서는 관광 및 컨벤션 관련 학과에 재학 중인 학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 이들에게 활동경험은 자원봉사 보다는 인턴십 프로그램과 유사한 기능을 하고 있었다. 컨벤션 현장진행인력의 활동경험은 학생들이 진로 분야를 결정하는데 중요한 영향을 미칠 것이며 이러한 인식으로부터 활동경험과 진로자기효능감과의 관계를 모색하였다. 본 연구에서는 활동경험과 진로자기효능감의 긍정적 효과가 항상 일정하게 나타나지 않았으며 진로자기효능감의 크기나 강도는 개인이 설정하는 목표수준과 관계가 있다는 연구를 지지한다. 현장진행인력들이 현장에서 활동한 경험들이 본인이 기대했던 수준보다 낮게 나타나면서 전반적인 만족도가 낮아지고 이러한 결과가 진로자기효능감에도 부정적인 영향을 낮았다고 추론할 수 있다. 따라서 현장진행인력들에게 행사를 통한 만족도 및 자긍심을 높이기 위한 다양한 방안 들이 검토되어야 한다. The purpose of this study was to define the convention field employees in Jeju Convention industry field and to examine their career decision-making self-efficacy and their behaviour. In these days, college student`s passion for occupation increases, resulting in greater competition for jobs. so many people emphasize practical behavior as well as attitude and cognition through internship experience as a staff in convention industry. However, there were only little researches from experience in academic studies. In addition, studies regarded convention staff as volunteer. In this study through previous studies, it has found out convention field employee` definition and the relationship between Convention on-site activities of personnel experience and college student`s career decision-making self-efficacy.

The purpose of this study was to define the convention staff in Jeju Convention industry field and to examine their motivation, compensation satisfaction and social capital formation in World Conservation Congress 2012. In the convention, human resources as a staff in very important. However, there were only little researches from experience in academic studies. In addition, studies regarded convention staff as volunteer. In this study through previous studies, it has found out convention staff definition and to examine their motivation, compensation satisfaction and social capital. In conclusion, these results support the results of the previous studies, which convention staff`s satisfaction contribute to the social capital formation.
