Korea real estate appraisal business tends to sit on the national protection frame in the meantime, such as living peacefully oneself, and giving up the change of their business concepts matching to the newly changed companies in recent years. As a result, internal competition became excessive and reliance of the business has fallen. In order to correspond to the environment change, appraisal business have to develop the new field. According to the BCG(Boston Consulting Group) model, P area which is higher growth and lower market portion is most appropriate for the new filed. Specially appraisal for the real estate indirect investment, real estate consulting service, and overseas appraisal fields are a new opportunity for the appraiser, that is P area in the BCG model. But the appraiser which is going to search the new field must plan a detailed strategy in consideration of its ability and environment. The prospects of the appraisal field are dependent upon the appraiser itself. Therefore the appraiser must expend the new field rather than seeking a place for peaceful living. It is time that we conceived of Blue Ocean strategy.
