다중값 처리에 적합한 EDI 시스템용 메시지 저장기 정보 베이스의 설계 방법

EDI-MS용 MSIB를 구축하기위해 적합하고 효율적인 디자인 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 EDI-MS에 적합한 MSIB 설계 방법인 OTMF를 이용한 설계 방법을 제안하였다. 이 디자인 방법은 RDBMS를 이용하여 EDI-MS의 특성에 적합한 MSIB를 구현할 때, 적합한 방법이다. 이는 MSIB의 주요 저장 정보 객체인 EDIM과 EDIN의 형태와 특성을 고려 하였다. MSIB가 RDBMS를 사용하여 구출된 때에는 EDIM의 다중 값 애트리뷰트를 처리하기 위한 방법이 필요하다. 기존의 다중 값 애트리뷰트를 처리하기 위한 방법으로는 드리븐 테이블을 이용한 방법을 사용하였다. 제안한 디자인 방법은 드리븐 테이블을 사용하지 않고 MSIB 구성 테이블에 다중 값 애트리뷰트의 관계성을 저장한다. 다중 수신자를 위한 통지 처리 시스템을 구현, 실험함으로써 제안한 OTMF를 이용한 디자인 방법과 다중 값 처리를 위한 알고리즘의 사용에 대한 타당성을 입증하였다. 또한, 이 디자인 방법은 별도의 정규화 과정 없이 MSIB 구성 테이블이 제 3 정규형을 만족하는 잇점이 있다. The efficient design methodology of constructing the MSIB for EDI-MS is necessary. In this paper, the design methodology of the MSIB suitable for EDI-MS based on the OTMF(Object-to-Table Mapping Function) is proposed. This design methodology is the proper one in the case that the MSIB appropriate for characteristics of EDI-MS is implemented using the commercial RDBMS. It considers the types and characteristics of the EDIM and EDIN that are main storage objects of the MSIB. When the MSIB is constructed using RDBMS, a method for processing the multi-values attribute of the EDIM should be considered. The existing scheme for processing the multi-values attribute is the method that uses driven tables. Proposed design method enables components tables of MSIB to store the relationsip of the multi-values attributes without driven tables. By implementing and testing the notification processing system for multi recipients, the propriety of using the proposed OTMF design methodology and the algoritms for processing multi-values is verified. The design method has another advantage that it is able to design the component tables of MSIB satisfying the third normal form and it dose not require the normalization processing.
