This study is aimed to develop fundamental technology on the smoke control method by simulation model and scale model simulation technique in underground space. Thereby, this research aimed to establish design elements and technologies required for smoke control system that is suitable to underground spaces of the high-rise residential-commercial and office buildings in order to minimize the loss of lives and property damage in case of fire.

Supply and use of heat recovery ventilator increase steadily as effective energy conservation equipment. Heat recovery ventilator can be installed at ceiling of balcony or emergency space. However, in case of fire, because emergency space have to remain as empty space by law, ventilator can not be installed at emergency space. Therefore the need of proper installation space of ventilator is embossed. In this study, to install heat recovery ventilator in light weight wall, thickness of heat exchanger was assembled below 150 ㎜. And efficiency of heat recovery was analyzed through performance experiment on case of air conditioning and heating about ventilator that a heat exchanger and two heat exchanger was connected in series.
