본 연구는 중소병원 간호사의 환자안전관리 중요성 인식, 환자안전문화 인식과 조직 의사소통이 환자안전 간호활동에 미치는 영향을 분석하여, 환자안전 간호활동을 증진시키기 위한 보건프로그램 개발의 기초자료를 제공하고자 시행되었다. K시에 위치한 200병상 이상의 중소병원 3곳에서 6개월 이상의 재직기간을 가진 간호사 210명을 편의추출 하였고, 2019년 2월 8일부터 15일까지 자료를 수집하였으며, 202부가 최종분석에 사용되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 환자안전관리 중요성 인식은 3.60±.49, 환자안전문화 인식은 3.39±.41, 조직 의사소통은 3.29±.45, 환자안전 간호활동은 4.08±.50이였고 환자안전 간호활동은 환자안전 중요성 인식(r=.597, p<.001), 환자안전문화 인식(r=.626, p<.001) 및 조직 의사소통(r=.559, p<.001)간에 유의한 양적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 환자안전 간호활동에 환자안전관리 중요성 인식(β=.258, p<.001), 환자안전 문화인식(β=.323, p=<.001), 조직 의사소통(β=.160, p=.044)은 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며(F=53.067, p<.001), 이들 간의 설명력은 43.7%였다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 중소병원 간호사의 환자안전 간호활동을 증진시킬 수 있는 병원 규모별 구체적 특성을 고려한 간호사들의 안전관리 자신감 증진, 비처벌적 환경 조성과 조직의 적극적인 의사소통 형성을 위한 환자안전 간호활동 증진프로그램의 개발이 필요하다. This study was conducted to provide data for the development of health program to promote patient safety nursing activities by analyzing the effect of perception of importance of patient safety management, perceptions of patient safety culture and organizational communication on patient safety nursing activities in small & medium hospital nurses. Data collection was conducted from February 8 to 15, 2019. A total of 202 questionnaires were administered to nurses who have worked for more than six months in three small and medium hospitals. The perception of importance of patient safety management of the subjects was 3.60±.49, perception of patient safety culture was 3.39±.41, organizational communication was 3.29±.45 and patient safety nursing activities was 4.08±.50. The patient safety nursing activities was related to perception of importance of patient safety management(r=.597, p<.001), perception of patient safety culture(r=.626, p<.001), organizational communication(r=.559, p<.001), there was a significant positive correlation. Perception of importance of patient safety management(β=.258, p=.001), perception of patient safety culture(β=.323, p<.001) and organizational communication(β=.160, p=.044) had a significant effect on patient safety nursing activities(F=53.067, p<.001). The explanatory power of these variables was 43.7%.
