희석된 Cd-Ni 합금계의 열역학자료의 최적화에 관한 연구

The experimental activity data measured by Conant with the highly precise emf cell for the dilute solution of nickel in cadmium have applied to various empirical equations for the representation of the thermodynamic data. Such equations are Raoult's law, Dan ken's quadratic formalism. subregular solution model, Krupltowski equation. Among these empirical equation, the subregular solution model have been most suitable to express the thermodynamic data of the Cd-Ni system. Raoult's law and quadratic formalism are also suitable with the small range of cadmium rich range. but not over the experimental concentration range. The Krupkowski equation does not well apply to this system. Interaction parameters of zero, 1st. 2nd order for the nickel solute have also calculated from the optimized subregular solution model. The calculated values are -11.0085, -0.0431, and 87.6036.

Zine was electrodeposited in the zincate solution at the temperatures of 20 and 40℃ in range of current density from 0.5 to 8A/d㎡. The preferred orientaion changed from (11.0) to (11.0)+(11.2) texture with increasing cathode overpotential. The (11.0) preferred orientation was developed at low overpotential (790-1070mV), while the (11.0)+(11.2) texture at high overpotential (1050-1130mV). The surface of the deposits with (11.0) texture showed the smooth deposit of fine crystallite, while that with (11.0)+(11.2) was the smooth deposit of layer type. The cross-sectional microstractures of the deposits were the field orinted texture type of structure and granular one respectively.

Cd-Pb계의 상태도로부터, 상평형 관계를 이용하여, Choi가 구한 quasi-reqular solution model과 Rollason과 Hysel의 solvus data로부터 Pb의 격자 안정도를 구하였다. fcc에서 hcp격자로의 변태시 Pb의 격자 안정도는 다음과 같이 표시될 수 있었다. 4?(fcc→hcp)=2509.3-0.425T (J/g-atom)
