        쏘가리 Siniperca scherzeri 자어기에 있어 초기 기아가 체형 , 생존율 및 공식에 미치는 영향

        The effect of delayed initial feeding (1, 3, 5, 7 days) and starvation on morphological change, mortality and cannibalism on larvae of Siniperca scheneri was examined by laboratory rearing. The larvae of S. scherzeri began to feed on Artemia nauplii at 4 days after hatching. In case of unfed and 7-days delayed groups, all of the larvae died at 12 days after hatching. The larvae of 1 day delayed feeding survived and grew as almost same as the control group, and 3-days delayed groups showed 33% survival rate at the end of experiment (12 days after hatching). In case of the unfed group, total length of the starved larvae showed lower growth rate than the control group, and they did not reached at the same size of the larvae of the control group. Cannibalism were more common in the unfed group and the delayed fed group than the control group. The highest rate of daily mortality caused by cannibalism in the delayed fed group was 23% at 8 days after hatching.

        빙어의 란발생과정(卵發生過程)과 자어(仔魚)의 형태발달(形態發達)

        1990年 3月, 慶尙北道 盈德郡 江口面에 位置한 五十川과 慶尙南道 密陽市 密陽江에서 채집하여 人工受精한 卵을 실험실로 운반하여 卵發生過程과 孵化仔魚의 成長에 따른 形態變化를 觀察한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 빙어의 受精卵은 球形의 沈性附着卵으로 무색투명하며, 卵徑은 0.85~1.05 mm (평균 0.97mm, n=50)이다. 2. 孵化에 소요된 시간은 평균 16.5℃에서 약 170시간만에 孵化한다. 3. 孵化直後의 仔魚는 全長 3.85~4.25mm (평균 4.05mm, n=10)로, 아직 입과 항문이 열려 있지 않고, 눈에 色素胞가 착색되어 있으며, 근절수는 52~54개이다. 4. 孵化 4~5日째의 仔魚는 全長이 5.20~5.65mm (평균 5.37mm, n=l0)로 卵黃은 거의 흡수되고, 눈의 色素는 더욱 짙어진다. 5. 孵化 20日째의 後期仔魚는 全長이 8.20~8.55 mm (평균 8.38mm, n=10)로 脊索末端이 45° 각도로 위로 굽어진다. 6. 孵化 25日째의 後期仔魚는 全長이 9.15~9.75 mm (평균 9.63 mm, n=10)로 등지느러미와 뒷지느러미에 각각 융기하기 시작하여 原基가 나타난다. Artificial fertilization of ice fish, Hypomesus transpaciticus nipponensis caught at Milyang-river and Osib-chun brook was performed in March 24, 1990, and the hatched larvae were reared for 25 days to describe the development of eggs and larvae. Fertilized eggs were spherical in shape, measuring 0.85~1.05 mm in diameter (mean: 0.97 mm) and translucent adhesive with many small-sized oil globules on the surface. Hatching in the indoor tank started from the 170 hours after fertilization under 16.5℃ water temperature. Newly-hatched larvae were measured 3.85~4.25 mm in total length (mean: 4.05 mm), and mouth and anus were not yet open. They had one yolk sac on the anterior part of abdomen, straight-type`s notochord, and 52~54 myotomes. The larva of 5 days old transformed to postlarval stage and measured 5.20~5.65 mm (mean: 5.37 mm) in total length. As the yolk sac was completely absorbed, mouth and anus were open, and they fed rotifers vigorously. In 20 days after hatching, the larvae grew to 8.38 mm in TL, and the caudal notochord flex at 45°. In 25 days after hatching, total length reached 9.63 mm. The part of the fin-fold of the future dorsal and anal fins became high.

        강릉 남대천(南大川)의 어류상(魚類相)

        南大川 流域의 魚類相을 조사한 결과 총 5科 11屬 13種으로 나타났다. 이 가운데서 韓國固有種의 출현은 볼 수 없었다. 전 지역에 걸쳐 우점종은 가시고기 Pungitius sinensis (61.49%), 버들개 Phoxinus lagowskii (28.26%) 및 갈겨니 Zacco temmincki (2.29%)로 나타났으며, 稀少種은 참붕어, 가물치 및 빙어로 나타났다. 잉어科 魚類가 5種으로 가장 다양하게 나타났으며, 다음 기름종개科 魚類가 4種 출현하였다. 본 調査流域인 南大川은 水質이 汚染되어 있으므로 水質정화는 물론 남획으로부터 어류가 보호되어야 하겠다. The freshwater fish fauna were surveyed in the Namdae Stream, Kangreung Korea in August and October in 1992. The fish fauna includes 13species representing 5 family and 11 genera, The dominent species were pungitius pungitius (61.49%) and Phoxinus lagowskii(28.26%) and the rare species wrere Hypomesus olidus, Pseudorasnora parva and Channa agus. Based on the previous studies there was a drastic changes not only in number of species but also in species composition.

        그물작업에 의한 은연어의 스트레스 반응

        The production of cultured coho salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch) in Korea has being increased year after year. Smolt being reared in freshwater suffer transferring into seawater and are farmed in cages for fattening. This handling processes including transportation, confinement into cages are unavoidable stress to fish in salmon farming and often end up to mass mortality. This study aimed to investigate the impact of handling process on the stress responses of coho salmon. The indicator of stress was measured by cortisol to be a first response, and for the second response test, glucose, triglyceride, cholesterol, lactate and electrolyte of K^+, Na^+, Cl^- in serum and the activities of alanine aminotranferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase(AST) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) were analyzed. As a result, the concentration of cortisol, glucose as well as LDH activity were significantly increased, whereas others showed no difference comparing with control group. It obviously demonstrated that handling process made fish stressful.

        담수 및 염수 수송이 은연어의 스트레스 반응에 미치는 영향

        To study the stress response of coho salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch) during transportation, the stress responses of the fish confined in a container box filled with freshwater or 5‰ salt-water were monitored pre and post 10 hours transportation. Changes of cortisol as the first stress indicator, and glucose (GLC), lactate (LAC), triglyceride (TG), cholesterol (CHOL), sodium (Na^+), chloride (Cl^-), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) as the second stress indicators were compared between the fish in two hauling media. Results showed significantly lower levels of cortisol, GLC, LAC, TG, CHOL and AST in salt-water group than freshwater group. It was shown that using salt-water for transportation could lessen the stress level of the coho salmon.
