감각통합 훈련이 발달장애유아의 운동기획 및 공간지각 능력에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 감각통합훈련이 발달장애유아의 운동기획 및 공간지각 능력에 미치는 효과를 보기 위한 목적으로 만 5-7세 발달장애유아 3명을 대상으로 ABA 반전설계법을 설계하여 실험을 실시하였으며, 이를 통하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 감각통합훈련이 발달장애유아의 운동기획능력에 미치는 효과에서 자세모방과 좌우동형의 운동조정영역에서 A, B, C 유아 모두에게 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 감각통합훈련이 발달장애유아의 공간지각능력에 미치는 효과에서 공간위치와 공간표상 영역에서 A, B, C 유아 모두에게 효과가 있었다. 셋째, 감각통합훈련을 통해 연구대상 발달장애유아의 전반적 감각통합영역에서 변화가 있었다. 본 연구는 운동기획능력에서는 자세모방과 좌우동형의 운동조정능력에 한정해서 측정하였으며, 공간지각력에서는 공간위치와 공간표상영역에 한정하여 측정하였으므로 추후 연구는 다른 영역에까지 확장하는 것이 필요하다. 또한 감각통합훈련기간과 다양한 장애아동, 다른 발달영역 등의 확장을 통하여 감각통합훈련의 효과를 볼 수 있는 추후 연구가 필요하다. The purpose of this study is to suggest how to approach to the effective and reasonable ways to improve sensory integration abilities of children with developmental disabilities by means of sensory integration training program which can affect the motor plan and the space perception of children with developmental disabilities. This study was conducted for 3 children who are 5 to 7 years old with development disabilities, who show problematic behaviors in the motor plan and the space perception, and who have problems with the vestibular sensation. In this study, ABA Reversal Design which uses baseline measurement and Sensory Integration Training, and then baseline measurement again, was applied for the 3 children. The results of the study are as follows; First, in the areas of the Imitation of Postures and Bilateral Motor Coordination of SCSIT, it can be concluded that the sensory integration training on motor plan of children with development disabilities showed high effectiveness because all 3 children had acquired much higher scores that is more than ±2 standard deviation. Second, the sensory integration training on space perception of children with development disabilities was also effective because all 3 children had acquired scores much more than ±2 standard deviation in the areas of Position in Space and Space Visualization of SCSIT. Third, we compared the pretest result of SCSIT with the post-test result of SCSIT in order to see the change on the sensory integration abilities of children with development disabilities. In general, sensory integration abilities was showed positive change.
