종교유무에 따라 중년의 감사성향이 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향: 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략의 매개효과

목적 본 연구에서는 외상사건 경험이 있는 중년기 성인을 대상으로 감사성향이 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향에서 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략의 매개효과와 종교유무의 조절효과를 검증하고자 하였다.방법 이를 위해 전국에 있는 40세 이상 69세 이하 중년기 성인을 대상으로 2020년 11월 한 달 동안 외상 경험, 감사성향, 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략, 외상 후 성장에 관한 온라인 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료 중 불성실하게 응답한 자료를 제외하고 총 307부를 바탕으로 SPSS 25.0를 활용하여 척도의 신뢰도 분석과 기술통계 및 상관분석을 실시하였으며, Amos 25.0을 통해 확인적 요인분석, 구조방정식 모형과 다집단 경로분석을 실시하였다.결과 첫째, 종교유무에 상관없이 감사성향이 외상 후 성장과 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략에 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략도 외상 후 성장에 유의미한 정적 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 종교가 있는 집단이 종교가 없는 집단보다 감사성향이 적응적 인지적 정서조절전략에 더 큰 정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다.결론 이러한 결과는 감사성향이 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향에서 적응적 인지적 정서조절 전략이 매개역할을 하고, 종교가 일부 과정에서 조절역할을 함을 밝힌 것으로서, 외상 후 성장을 위한 심리개입에 있어서 실증적 기초를 제공한다는 의의가 있다. Objectives The purpose of this study was two- fold: examine the mediation effects of adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies between grateful disposition and posttraumatic growth among middle aged adults who experienced traumatic events and investigate religion differences. Methods The data of 307 middle aged adults who experienced trauma (aged 40 to 69) were used in the final analysis. The scale used in the questionnaire were: a questionnaire on traumatic experience, K-GQ-6 (Korean version of Gratitude Questionnaire-6), CERQ (Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire), PTGI (Posttraumatic Growth Inventory). For date analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, structural equation modeling and Multi-group analysis were performed by using SPSS 25.0 and Amos 25.0. Results The results of the study were as follow: First, grateful disposition was positively correlated with posttraumatic growth and adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies, and adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies also had a positive correlation with posttraumatic growth. Second, Multi-group analysis confirmed significant religion differences regarding the pathway from grateful disposition to adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies. Conclusions Based on the results of this study, the implication of crisis intervention to promote posttraumatic growth of middle aged adults who experienced traumatic event were discussed.
