대학입학전형별 학업성취도 분석 연구: K대학 2009∼2014학년도 입학생을 중심으로

본 연구는 2009년부터 확대 실시된 입학사정관전형에 대한 분석의 일환으로, 입학년도별 입학생들의 특성을 살펴보기 위해 수행되었다. 입학사정관전형 입학생들이 점차 졸업생으로 사회에 배출되는 현시점에서 GPA분석을 통해 전형운영의 전체적인 점검이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구는 입학전형 유형, 입학사정관전형 유형별로 2009∼2014학년도 입학생의 GPA를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 입학전형의 특성에 따라 입학전형을 6가지로 유형화하였고, 입학사정관전형은 다시 5가지 유형으로 세분화하여 분석틀을 만들었다. 입학전형 유형에 따라서는 학생부교과유형 입학생의 GPA가 가장 높게 나왔으며 이는 모든 계열에서 동일한 현상을 보여주었다. 특히 계열별로 볼 때, 인문, 자연, 예·체능계열에 비해 한의과대학에서 전형유형 간 GPA 차이가 크게 나타났다. 입학사정관전형 내에서는 일반유형과 학생부교과 유형, 학교장추천유형이 GPA가 높았으며, 고른기회유형과 특기자유형이 낮은 GPA를 보였다. 본 연구의 의의는 입학전형유형에 따른 GPA의 다각적 분석을 통해 재학생들의 특성에 따른 대학 적응도를 점검하고, 차후 입학전형 설계의 기초자료를 마련하는데 있다. This study was carried out with a focus on the different attributes of the newly enrolled students based on their year of entrance as part of an analysis of the Admission Office System(AOS), which has been executed extensively since 2009. An overall examination of the system is now possible as the students who had enrolled through the AOS are now graduating, and their GPA can be analyzed. This study analyzed the GPA of students who have enrolled from 2009 to 2014, categorizing them according to the admission types. To form the analysis framework, students were further divided into more specific subcategories, six from the Admission type and five from AOS. In the AS category, the Grade Type students had the highest GPAs consistently across all majors. Compared to Humanities, Natural Sciences, Arts, and Athletics, the College of Oriental Medicine showed the biggest GPA difference depending on the admission system. In the AOS category, the highest GPAs was in the Regular Type, the Grade Type, and the Principal`s Recommendation Type while Equal Opportunities System and Talented Students System showed the lowest GPAs Through multilateral analysis of the GPA according to the admission types, this study inspects student adaptability in relation to their attributes, and seeks to establish the baseline data for further admission systems planning.

본 연구는 2009년부터 확대 실시된 입학사정관전형에 대한 분석의 일환으로, 전형유형에 따른 계열별 입학생들의 학업성취도 특성을 살펴보기 위해 수행되었다. 입학사정관전형 입학생들이 점차 졸업생으로 사회에 배출되는 현시점에서 GPA분석을 통해 전형운영의 전체적인 점검이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구는 입학전형 유형별로 2010∼2012학년도 입학생의 전공과 비전공 GPA를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 입학전형의 특성에 따라 입학전형을 6가지로 유형화하였고, 전공과 비전공 GPA를 계열별로 분석하였다. 인문계열은 학생부교과와 입학사정관전형에서 높은 점수가 나타났으며, 특기·적성에서는 전공평점이 비전공평점보다 낮은 점수가 나타났다. 자연계열의 전공평점은 학생부교과와 수능에서, 비전공평점은 학생부교과와 입학사정관전형에서 높게 나타난 반면, 특기·적성의 전공평점은 가장 낮은 점수가 나타났다. 한의과대학은 학생부교과전형에서 높은 점수가 나타났으며, 전공평점은 특기·적성에서, 비전공평점은 입학사정관전형에서도 높은 점수가 나타났다. 예능계열은 입학사정관, 학생부교과, 논술전형에서 전공과 비전공평점 모두 높은 GPA가 나타났으며, 특기·적성유형은 전공평점이 비전공평점보다 높은 점수를 보였다. 체능계열은 학생부교과와 입학사정관전형에서 전공 과 비전공평점 모두 높은 GPA가 나타난 반면, 특기·적성전형에서 가장 낮은 GPA가 나타났다. 본 연구의 의의는 입학전형유형에 따른 전공과 비전공 GPA의 분석을 통해 재학생들의 특성에 따른 대학 적응도를 점검하고, 차후 입학전형 설계의 기초자료를 마련하는데 있다. The GPA for major and non-major courses of the students who have enrolled from 2010 to 2012, categorized by admission types, was studied. In the Humanities Department, the Grade type and the AOS students showed high GPAs while Special Ability and Aptitude type students showed lower GPAs in their majors than their non-major courses. In the Natural Sciences Department, the Grade type and the College Scholastic Ability Test students received high GPAs in their major courses, and the Grade type and AOS performed well in their non-major courses. In the College of Oriental Medicine, the Grade type students had the highest GPAs overall, while Special Ability and Aptitude type and the AOS students had high GPAs in their major and non-major courses, respectively. In the Arts Department, the AOS, Grade type, and the Essay type students all had high GPAS in both the major and the non-major courses. In the Athletics Department, the Grade type and AOS type received high GPAs in both the major and the non-major courses.

학생부 비교과활동 분석: 학생부종합전형 입학생을 중점으로

본 연구는 2014학년도 학생부중심전형(입학사정관제) 입학생의 고등학교 비교과활동 특성을 살펴보기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 2014학년도 경희대학교 수시모집 네오르네상스전형 입학생277명 중 학생부 데이터베이스화에 적합하지 않은 9명의 학생부를 제외한 268명의 자료를 1)출결상황 2)수상경력 3)임원경력 4)동아리활동 5)진로활동 6)봉사활동 7)독서활동 8)자격및인증활동으로 분류하여 각 단과대학별 및 과별 특성을 통계분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학업성취도 관련 수상은 평균 7.71회이었으며, 한의과대학(M=17회)의 수상경력이 가장 높았다. 창의적체험활동 관련 수상은 평균 13.89회이었으며, 문과대학(M=17.23회)의 수상경력이 가장 높았다. 둘째, 임원경력은 전체 평균은 1.98회이었으며, 수학과(M=5회)가 가장 높았다. 셋째, 동아리활동은 정치외교학과, 언론정보학과, 행정학과의 특성에 따라 활동한 동아리 유형이 상이한 결과를 보였다. 넷째, 봉사활동은 평균 169.98시간이었으며, 간호학과(M=355.14시간)가 가장 높은 반면 한의예과(M=85.5시간)의 평균이 가장 낮았다. 마지막으로 연구분석을 통한 연구의 함의점 및 앞으로의 연구방향을 제언하였다. The purpose of This study was to analyze the characteristics of nonsubject activities in high schools of students who admitted through the track of general transcripts of school records(Admission Officer System). For this study, 268 data were actually analyzed, except 9 inappropriate for building a database for the study. The data were categorized into 8 areas(i. e. attendance, award winning, student council, club activities, career path activities, voluntary activities, reading activities, certificate activities), and analyzed statistically by colleges and departments. First, the mean of the number of award winning regarding to scholastic achievement was 7.71, and College of Oriental medicine(M=17.23) was highest. In addition, the mean of the number of award winning in creative experiential activities was 13.89, and College of Liberal Arts was highest in the area. Second, Mathematics department had the highest mean of the number of students council participation. Third, in the area of voluntary activities, different results came out from different characteristics of each department, such as, department of political science and diplomacy, department of communication studies, and department of administration. Fourth, the mean of voluntary activity times was 169.98 hour, and department of nursing science(M=355.14) was highest while Pre-Herb Medicine(M=85.5) was lowest. Finally, this study suggested its implications based on the results and future direction of research was suggested as well.
