학생부종합전형 공정성에 대한 입학사정관들의 인식 연구

최근 학생부종합전형 공정성 확보에 대한 의제가 대학입시정책의 화두가 되고 있다. 이에 학생부종합전형 평가를 담당하고 있는 입학사정관들의 공정성에 대한 인식 연구를 통해 학생부종합전형의 공정성 확보와 전형의 신뢰도를 높일 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 학생부종합전형을 운영하는 전국 대학의 입학사정관 대상으로 온라인 방식으로 설문을 진행하였고, 온라인 방식 설문 내용을 기본으로 입학사정관 경력 5년 이상의 입학사정관 15명을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 실제 평가를 담당하는 입학사정관들은 학생부종합전형이 공정하게 운영되고 있다고 인식하고 있으며, 평가에 가장 영향을 미치고 신뢰할 수 있는 전형자료로 학교생활기록부(전체)라고 응답하였다. 또한 평가의 질적 관리를 위해 1일 평가인원 수를 적절하게 조절해야 하며, 입학사정관의 전문성과 평가 역량 강화를 위해 입학사정관 경력과 교육훈련 이수시간 등을 강화하는 것이 필요하다는 의견을 보였다. 아울러 입학사정관 신분 또한 평가 공정성을 담보하는 데 필요한 요소로 인식하였다. 따라서 학생부종합전형 공정성 확보를 위해서는 현재 이루어지고 있는 평가시스템을 강화하고, 적절한 평가인원을 배분하며, 입학사정관 평가 전문성을 기르기 위한 교육훈련을 내실 있게 운영하는 것이 필요하다. The issue of ensuring the fairness of the comprehensive school records screening has become a hot topic in university admission policy. Therefore, we tried to find out how to ensure the fairness and improve the reliability of the comprehensive school records screening through the study on the awareness of the admissions officers in charge of the comprehensive school report evaluation. We conducted on-line questionnaire survey for the admission officers of the universities nationwide operating comprehensive school records screening and, based on the results of the survey, we carried out in-depth interviews with 15 admissions officers with more than 5 years of experience. The admission officers who were actually in charge of the evaluation recognized that the comprehensive school records screening was being fairly operated, and selected the comprehensive school report (whole school years) as the most influential evaluation material that they could rely on. In addition, they expressed opinions that the number of the evaluation they perform in a day should be adjusted appropriately for management of the quality of the evaluation, and that it is necessary to strengthen the admission officers’ career and education & training hours to secure the expertise and evaluation capacity of the admission officers. Furthermore, they perceived the status of admission officers as an element necessary for ensuring the fairness of evaluation.

대입전형 안내 책자 콘텐츠 분석 및 수요자 만족도 분석 연구

본 연구는 현재 대학에서 발행하고 있는 대입전형 안내 책자 종류와 콘텐츠 내용이 어떤 특징을 가지고 있는지를 살펴보고, 이를 통해 수요자가 대입전형 안내 책자를 통해 어떤 정보를 얻고, 의미 있다고 생각하는 콘텐츠가 무엇인지에 대하여 분석하였다. 모집요강을 제외한 62개 대학의 대입전형 안내 책자 종류를 파악하고, 책자에 담긴 콘텐츠 내용을 분석하였고, 2017학년도 K대학 신입생 285명을 대상으로 대입전형 안내 책자와 콘텐츠 관련 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사 응답자 중 총 18명을 선정하여 연구진과 일대일 심층면담을 실시하였다. 각 대학에서 발행하고 있는 학생부종합전형 가이드북의 콘텐츠를 분석한 결과, 전형 관련 기본적인 정보를 알려주는 전형안내 외에 전형준비방법Tip, Q&A, 합격수기 관련 순으로 콘텐츠를 제공하고 있었다. 논술가이드북에서 제공하는 콘텐츠는 논술 관련 전형준비방법Tip, 전년도 기출문제, 모의논술 기출문제, 전형결과 관련 콘텐츠 순이었다. 대입전형 안내 책자를 유용하다고 인식하는 정도에 대한 질문에는 모집요강, 학생부종합전형 가이드북, 학과 안내 책자, 대학 안내 책자, 논술가이드북 순으로 나타났다. 대입전형 안내책자가 다루고 있는 콘텐츠 중 가장 유용한 정보는 기본적인 전형정보, 전년도 전형결과, 전형 관련 Q&A, 학생부종합전형 면접 기출문제, 전형준비방법 Tip 순으로 답하였다. 이 중 심층면담에 응한 학생들은 대학의 대입전형 안내책자에서 가장 유용한 콘텐츠를 합격수기, 자기소개서 예시, 면접 준비Tip 순으로 응답했다. This study observed different types of currently issued college admission information brochures along with the characteristics of their contents and analyzed the information gained by users and what contents they think are meaningful. For this, it analyzed the college admission information brochures of 62 colleges, excluding and analyzed their contents. Content analysis of the comprehensive school records screening guidebooks issued by each of the colleges showed that, they provide contents in the order of screening preparation tips, Q&A, and acceptance notes. Contents in essay guidebooks included essay-related screening preparation tips, sample questions from the previous year, mock essay sample questions, and screening result-related contents, in that order. Also, surveys related to college admission information brochures and their contents were conducted on 285 freshmen at Kyung Hee University admitted in 2017. On questions regarding how useful college admission information brochures were perceived to be, responses stated that they were perceived to be useful in the order of applicant guidebooks, comprehensive school records screening guidebooks, department information brochures, college information brochures, and essay guidebooks. Responses stated that the most useful information was general screening information, screening results from the previous year, and screening related Q&A, in that order. Lastly, 18 respondents were selected and one-on-one in-depth interviews with the researchers were conducted. Students responded that the most useful contents from the college admission information brochures were college acceptance notes, and self-introduction examples, and interview preparation tips, in that order.

입학사정관 전문성 강화를 위한 교육훈련 프로그램 현황 분석

본 연구는 학생부종합전형을 운영하고 있는 대학의 교육훈련 프로그램 현황을 분석하여 입학사정관 평가역량 전문성 강화 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 2019년 고교교육 기여대학 지원사업에 선정된 대학 중 분석가능한 데이터를 보내 준 18개 대학 입학사정관 교육훈련 프로그램현황을 분석하였고, 10개 대학 입학사정관 교육훈련 담당자에게 심층설문을 실시하였다. 교육훈련 이수시간은 전임(신임)사정관이 148.6시간으로 가장 많았고, 위촉(연임)사정관이 32시간으로 가장 적었다. 교육훈련 주제는 이론교육이 차지하는 비율이 74.2%로, 실무교육 25.8%보다 3배 정도 높았다. 교육시기별로 보면 7월부터 9월에 교육훈련 운영빈도가 55.5%로 가장 집중적으로 이루어졌다. 입학사정관 연차별 프로그램은 전임(신임)사정관은 대교협 연수와 내부이론교육 위주로 운영되었고, 전임(경력)사정관은 실습 위주의 교육과 전형분석 및 전형설계를 위한 교육이 추가로 진행되었다. 위촉(신임)사정관은 대교협 연수 위주로 교육이 구성되었고, 모의평가 등의 실습교육을 신임과 연임위촉사정관이 함께 받는 경우가 많았다. 입학사정관 교육훈련을 담당하는 사정관은 <고교교육과정 및 학생부의 이해>, <대입제도의 이해>, <입학사정관 직무윤리>, <소속대학의 전형의 이해>, <대학 및 모집단위별 인재상>을 입학사정관이 필수적으로 이수해야 하는 기본적인 교육내용으로 인식하고 있었다. 또한 심화교육과정으로 <대입전형 결과 분석(통계분석을 위한 실습)>과 <대입전형 설계>를 선택하였다. This study was conducted to investigate the way for enhancing the evaluation expertise of the admission officer by analyzing the current status of education and training programs of universities that operate the comprehensive student record screening system. For this study, the available data of present condition of education and training programs for admission officers, which were sent from 18 universities among the universities selected for the project regarding contributing to high school education in 2019, were analyzed, and in-depth surveys were conducted on 10 university admissions officers. Full-time(newcomer)officers had the largest number of hours to complete education and training with 148.6 hours, while commissioned(experienced)officers had the lowest number of education and training hours with 32 hours. When it comes to the theme of education and training, the theoretical education was carried out with 74.2%. Referring to the education period, 55.5% of education and training were intensively implemented from July to September. The admission officers who are in charge of the education and training for the admission officer recognized several courses which are < Understanding High School Curriculum and comprehensive school records >, < Comprehension the University Entrance System >, < Work Ethics of University Admission Officer >, < Comprehension of Admission method in Affiliated University >, < The Concept of Talent of University and Each Admission Unit > as a basic essential courses for all admission officers. In addition, by means of advanced training courses, < Analysis of the Results of the University Admission (Practice for statistical analysis) > and < Design of the University Entrance System > were selected.
