민국시기 연변지역에 있어서의 통역양성학교 - 설립경위를 중심으로 -

연변의 지리적 위치와 정치적 상황의 특성으로 이 지역을 둘러싸고 역사적으로 다양한 역학적인 움직임이 있었다. 본 연구에서는 연변조선족자치주 당안관에 소장된 역사자료를 활용하여 외국어 야반(夜班) 연구소와 한국역재소(譯才所)에 대한 분석을 통해 그 실태를 조사하여 객관적 역사사실에 접근하였다. 민 국(民國)측은 1914년 11 월에 통역사를 양성하는 외국어야반(夜班)연구소를 설립하고 일본어, 러시아어, 한국어를 가르쳤으며 1916 년에는 한국어역재소(譯才所)를 설립하여 조선어, 국문, 일본어를 가르쳤고 졸업생들은 연길현기관(機關) 에 등록되었다. 이와같이 민국(民國)측은 당시 복잡한 정치지리적상황으로 보다 적극적으로 통역사 양성학교를 설립하여 국내 정치안정을 도모하려고 했다는 점을 본 연구를 통하여 규명하였다. The geographical location and political situation made a great significance to Yanbian region. In this study, I tried to explore the actual condition by analyzing the history of the Evening School of Foreign Language and the Korean Translation Center, consulting the files of the Archives of Yanbian, Korean Autonomous Prefecture. In november 1914, the Republic of China established the Evening School of Foreign Language, which trained interpreters, and taught Japanese, Russian and Korean. In 1916, the Republic of China established the Korean Translation Center, which taught Korean, Chinese and Japanese, and graduates worked in the institutions of the prefectures of Yanjidao. Thus, this study revealed that the Republic of China actively established the school of interpretation at that time to achieve the political stability.
