2003년 6월 28일 학회에서는 (주)우일종합건축사 사무소가 설계한 경기도 성남시 분당구에 있는 분당서울대학교병원을 견학하게 되었다. 이특구회장, 김광문 명예회장 등 60여명의 회원들은 아침 10시에 대회의실에 모여 병원관계자와 설계사무소인 우일 종합건축사 사무소 박대식상무의 병원건립과정에 대하여 설명을 듣고, 두팀으로 나누어 병동, 중앙진료부 등 부문별로 견학을 하였다.

The evaluation of economy of wards is based on the building area. The parameters are nursing area per bed, occupied area per patient, and the portion of movement area. Three areas such as patient area, nurse area, and corridor area are devided. The results of analysis are as follows. At first, allocation of patient area has the highest priority. Even though nurse area is small, the patient area is relatively large. Secondly, the patient area is mostly determined by the type of rooms, such as single, double, etc.. Finally, the type of alley on the floor is important to economy. The single corridor type is the most economical followed by the double corridor type, the single loaded type shows the worst economy.

Purpose: Recently, the operating unit remodeling compititon has been increasing rapidly in Korea, but there are no design infomation for spatial planning of sterile supply storage. Therefore, the propose of this study is to present area composition of the operating unit after remodeling. Methods: For literature review, the 6 studies and guidelines of operating unit(guidelines in the U.S, Australia, UK and Korea and 2 studies in Korea) conducted surveys and analysis. Room and space composition and zone of operating unit are redefined for this study. For obtaining area, to conduct masuring and calcuating of document of operating unit before and after remodeling in 3 cases. There are some patterns of plan in operaing unit by sterile supply storage. This study derived data for attributes of area composition of sterile supply storage. Results: The results of this study are as follows: First, Reviewing previous studies and Guidelines, for this study the suggested model was 5 zones(Operating zone, Support zone, Patient zone, Staff zone, Circulation zone) and redefined each room and space. Second, For infection control, sterile supply storage was provided to directly accessible to the operating room. Third, According to ralation of operting room and sterile supply storage, there are two types : ‘double loaded type’ and ‘single loded type’. Sterile supply storage shall increase area of ciculation zone. Implications: This study can be used as primary data on remodeling of operating unit. In addition, it suggests that for infect control sterile supply storage is functional area.
병동의 발전과정에 수용된 계획요소에 관한 건축계획적 연구

Wards are the biggest part in hospital buildings and the flow of medical personnels and materials is an important factor in the ward design. The evaluation method of the wards and is esscential for the optimum design considering function, environment, patient psychology, etc. To achieve this goal, factors for evaluation of wards were introduced and then each factor was systematically analyzed. A evaluation method are developed from studied factors and are applied to existing wards to check the reliability. The selected evaluation factors are limited to the privacy of patient, the functional efficiency of operation, and the economy of wards.

The purpose of this study is to get the design guideline of the wards. To achieve this goal, ward type by using corridor form were introduced and then each type was systematically analyzed. A evaluation method are developed from studied factors and are applied to existing wards to check the reliability.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the digital design system for the ward in general hospital. The important result and advantage of the digital design system such as HcCad-System for design and plan of wards are as follows; At first, applicability and maintenance of architectural and behavioral data are enhanced and the information could be used for development of better and economical design. Secondly, the system useful for communication media and instructional tool for ward planners and designers. Thirdly, fast and economical evaluation are obtained through the study of experimental simulation. Finally as a new tool in architectural field, the system helps to enhance the relationship between digital media and human.New concept and tools of ward design are being developed in terms of its function, environment, and psychology. The computational design system should be improved for user friendly in the future.

The purpose of this study is to suggest various index concerning the nursing services and traffic efficiency between two types of nursing care system - Team Nursing Method and Functional Nursing Method. Through the investigations on activities of 5 day-duty nurses of ward in each general hospital occupying one method of them. So, it can be suggested that the basic data for the archtectural planning of wards in general hospitals must be considered to accept the hospital environmental requests.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the design by using digital media the general hospital. The important result and advantage of the study are as follows; At first, applicability and maintenance of form and function design are enhanced and the digital media could be used for development of better and economical design. Secondly, the 3D CAD system useful for communication media and instructional tool for hospital planners and designers. Thirdly, fast and economical evaluation are obtained through the study of experimental simulation. Finally as a new tool in architectural field, the system helps to enhance the relationship between digital media and human. New concept and tools of hospital design are being developed in terms of its function, environment, and psychology. The computational design system should be improved for user friendly in the future.
