      • 피에조저항 효과를 이용한 탄소나노복합체 압력센서

        본 논문은 탄소나노튜브 및 그래핀이 첨가된 고분자 나노복합체를 이용한 압력센싱에 관한 연구를 보고한다. 나노복합체에서 가장 중요한 나노소재의 분산도를 점도측정에 의해서 정량적으로 평가하는 방법을 고안하였다. 아울러, 나노복합체의 전기전도도 및 점탄성 물성 평가를 통해서 분산도를 간접적으로 측정하였다. 탄소나노소재가 첨가된 수지를 이용하여 멀티스케일 하이브리드 복합재를 성형한 후 압력센싱 가능성을 검증하였다. This paper reports a study on manufacturing of carbon nanomaterial polymer composites and their application in pressure sensing. During sonication, the viscosity of the carbon nanomaterial-polymer resin mixture was measured at pre-specified intervals, and the correlation between viscosity and degree of dispersion was determined. The viscosities of both graphene-resin and carbon nanotube-resin mixtures exhibited increasing trends with sonication time, indicating thixotropic fluid behavior as the carbon nanomaterials were dispersed more uniformly. The degree of carbon nanomaterial dispersion was further verified through bulk resistivity measurement, dynamic mechanical analysis, and scanning electron microscopy. Unsaturated polyester-glass fiber-carbon nanotube multiscale hybrid composites were manufactured and their piezoresistivity was characterized for potential application in large-area pressure sensing.

        고 비정질 형성능을 가진 FeBSiNb 합금 리본의 자기적 특성

        Amorphous FeBSiNb alloy ribbons having bulk glass forming ability and high saturation magnetic flux density were produced by single-roller melt spinning apparatus in the thickness range of 22~102㎛. With the increase of thickness, the coercive force and squareness ratio decreased, while maximum permeability and AC permeability increased. However electrical resistivity was almost constant. Furthermore refined and complex magnetic domain structure was observed in thicker ribbons owing to the change in internal magnetic anisotropy. For the alloy with the thickness of 81㎛, small coercive force of 24 mOe and high effective permeability of 12,000 at 1 ㎑ were obtained, those are considered to be better comparing to the conventional soft magnetic amorphous alloys (~20㎛). The good soft magnetic properties of the thick FeBSiNb amorphous alloys were attributed to the decrease in surface pinning effect during wall motion, appearance of perpendicular anisotropy and resulted domain refinement.

      • Bezold 氏 膿瘍에 類似한 耳性深副流注膿瘍의 一例

        A eighteen year-old Korean male was entered to the Hospital with chief complains of high fever, chillness, headache, diffuse swelling and tenderness on the right lateral neck below the mastoid tip for thirteen days duration. The patient gave a history of hearing impairment, tinnitus, purulent discharge on the right ear for 10 years. On physical examination right ear drum revealed total defect with foul swelling purulent discharge and considerable amount of cholesteatornatous masess in the tympanic cavity. On the day of admission radical mastoidectomy was performed. The mastoid antrum was filled with cholesteatoma and sigmoid sinus demonstrated bony erosion with perisinus abscess. Deep cervical abscess was drained with external cervical incision. The abscess cavity appeared to be communicated with inner surface of the mastoid tip. The patient was discharged in good condition on fourteenth postoperative day.

      • 慢性 化膿性上顎洞炎 根治手術後 患側頰部腫脹의 豫防에 대하여

        It is well known that radical operation for chronic suppurative maxillary sinusitis is - usually follcwed by more or less swelling of the cheek. To evaluate which of the already existing post-operative managements to prevent this undisirable complication is most efficient, the present author conducted a survey on 200 cases of Caldwell-Luc's opration as performed at the K. P. U. M.S.H. during the period of Sept. 1959 to December 1960. The patients were divided into 3 groups a ccording to the difference in managements applied: (1) Manual compress with or without gauze-packing (2) Ice-bag compress with or without gauze-packing and (3) No compress with or without gauze-packing. Ard the following results were obtained. (1) The post-operative swelling of the cheek was most often encountered the patients were treated by packing of gauze after operation. (2) It is observed that the patients who received manual compress after opration showed best result. Ice-bag compress brought about good result and no compress resulted in most severe swelling. It would appear that the gauze-packing is always occasioned by immediate post-operative bleeding which should have been controlled by more patient and careful hemostasis and that the swelling seemed to be caused by post-oprerative bleeing and soft tissue injury incurred by the removal of the packed gauze. Therefore, it may concluded that the best result can be expected by application of manual compress without gauze-packing provided the situation makes it unavoidable.
