미술 감상교육에 대한 영유아 교사의 인식 및 실태와 요구

본 연구는 영유아를 대상으로 한 미술감상 교육에 대한 어린이집 교사의 인식 및 실태와 요구를 조사하여 영유아교육 현장에서 영유아미술 감상교육을 계획하고 적용하는데 지원이 필요한 사항을 파악하고 이를 지원할수 있는 영유아 미술감상교육 프로그램 개발의 기초 자료를 제공하는 것이 목적이다. 본 연구의 대상은 강원 및 서울 지역 어린이집 영유아 교사286명이며본 연구의 도구는 유아미술감상교육에 대한 선행연구 (김정·이수경·이주연,1996;이영자·이정욱·유혜숙, 1998)에서 사용한 질문지를 본 연구 목적에 맞게 수정·보완하여 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구대상 교사들은 영유아 미술감상교육이 중요하다는 것을 인식하고 있으나 미술 감상교육의목적 및 내용에 대해 인지하는 수준이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 본 연구대상 교사들은 영유아 미술감상교육의 목표로 ‘창의적 표현’이 가장 중요하다는 것으로 인식하고 있었으며 현장에서 영유아 미술감상교육을 적용하는 것이 대체로 어려운 것으로 인식하는 비율이 높게 나타났다. 또한 영유아 미술감상교육은 주로 영유아의 일상생활, 주변환경 및 계절적 특성과 관련된 일반적인 주제로 진행하고 있었으며, 교수매체를 활용하는 수준은 매우 낮게 나타났다. 영유아를 대상으로 한 미술감상교육 관련 연수의 기회는 매우 적었으며 교사들은 교수학습개발 및 교수매체 활용, 연수의 기회에 대해 비교적 높게 요구하고 있었다. This Study aims to give basic data to develop early children``s art appreciation education program through their teacher``s recognition, reality and demand of early children``s art appreciation education. The research objects from 286 teachers of Day-Care center in Gang-won and Seoul. And questionaire which was based on Jung Kim, Suk-young Lee, Ju-yeon Lee(1996) and Young-ja Lee, Jong-wook Lee, Hye-suk Yoo(1998)``s questionaire was used for survey of their study after modified and supplemented for the purpose of this study. The results are as follows : First, Regarding teacher``s recognition of the art appreciation education, it appears that low rate of the subjects knew the purpose and contents of the art appreciation education. Second, They regarded creative expression as the most important purpose of the art appreciation education. But They had difficulty in real situation . Also, as the main subjects of the art appreciation education activities, the elements of experiences were most based on children``s everyday lives or surrounding environment and seasonal characteristics. And it appears low that teachers used teaching aids. Teachers demanded of new teaching methodology, aids and retraining for education for the art appreciation education.
