빅데이터 분석 기법으로 살펴본 북(北)과 관련한 공포 감정과 분단 트라우마

본 연구는 한국사회의 집단감정을 빅데이터 분석 기법으로 살펴봄으로써 사람과 사람의 통합과 평화를 저해하는 근원을 파악하고 인문학적인 관점으로 해결방안을 연구하는 데 목적이 있다. 2017년부터 2020년까지 분단적대성을 대표하는 감정유형인 ‘공포’를 중심으로 그 수치가 가장 낮은 시기에는 북에 대한 공포가 줄어든 것이 아니라 공포의 대상이 다른 사회적 문제로 이동했음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 가장 높은 시기에서는 강도에 따라 ‘분단체제 속 남북한 정부에 대한 불신을 포함한 공포’, ‘북한의 목적 달성을 위한 수단으로 보는 공포’, ‘무조건적인 적대의 대상으로 보는 공포’로 양상을 파악하였다. 이중 극단적 공포의 단계는 ‘분노’의 감정과 결합하여 북에 대한 적대감으로 심화되는데, 이것은 우리 사회의 분열을 고착화시키며 반복·재생산되고 있는 분단 트라우마의 단면이다. 향후 분단적대성의 감정 연구는 치유, 통합의 문제와 관련하여 실질적인 대안연구로 심화되어야 할 것이다. The purpose of this study is to examine the collective sentiment of Korean society with a Big Data Analysis technique, to identify the roots that hinder human-to-people integration and peace, and to devise a solution from a humanistic perspective. From 2017 to 2020, focusing on ‘fear’, an emotional type representing Inter-Korean Antagonism, when the number was lowest, it was found that the fear of North Korea did not decrease, but the object of fear moved to other social problems. And in the highest period, according to the intensity, the patterns were identified as ‘fear, including distrust of the South and North Korean governments under a division system’, ‘fear seen as a means of achieving North Korea’s purpose’, and ‘fear seen as an object of unconditional hostility.’ Among them, the stage of extreme fear is deepened into hostility toward the North, combined with feelings of “anger”, which is a cross-section of the Trauma of Division, which is being repeated and reproduced by intensifying the division of our society. In the future, there is a need for research on the emotions of divisional hostility, healing, and practical alternatives related to the problem of integration.
