비대칭 적설하중 적용을 통한 단층 래티스 지붕 구조물의 좌굴하중 특성

A single-layerd steel lattice roof, which has 50m span, was constructed. In order to figure out the realistic buckling load level, the structural analysis of this roof structure was performed especially by local snow load. Due to the characteristics of application of snow load, the load combinations of snow should be considered not only global area but also local part so that the critical buckling load could be observed as easy as possible. Geometrical imperfection was simulated to consider inaccurate shape of structure. And then nonlinear analysis were performed. Finally, this paper could investigate that the local snow load with geometrical imperfection decreased the level of buckling load significantly.
Magnetopause Waves Controlling the Dynamics of Earth’s Magnetosphere

Earth’s magnetopause separating the fast and often turbulent magnetosheath and the relatively stagnant magnetosphereprovides various forms of free energy that generate low-frequency surface waves. The source mechanism of this energyincludes current-driven kinetic physical processes such as magnetic reconnection on the dayside magnetopause andflux transfer events drifting along the magnetopause, and velocity shear-driven (Kelvin-Helmholtz instability) or density/pressure gradient-driven (Rayleigh-Taylor instability) magnetohydro-dynamics (MHD) instabilities. The solar wind externalperturbations (impulsive transient pressure pulses or quasi-periodic dynamic pressure variations) act as seed fluctuationsfor the magnetopause waves and trigger ULF pulsations inside the magnetosphere via global modes or mode conversion atthe magnetopause. The magnetopause waves thus play an important role in the solar wind-magnetosphere coupling, whichis the key to space weather. This paper presents recent findings regarding the generation of surface waves (e.g., Kelvin-Helmholtz waves) at the Earth’s magnetopause and analytic and observational studies accountable for the linking of themagnetopause waves and inner magnetospheric ULF pulsations, and the impacts of magnetopause waves on the dynamicsof the magnetopause and on the inner magnetosphere.
다낭성 난소 증후군 환자에서 체중과 임신이 내분비 양상 및 당 대사에 미치는 영향

N/A Objective: The purpose of this study attempts to determine the endocrinologic characteristics and changes in glucose metabolism before/during pregnancy according to different body weights in women with Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Methods: 94 women dia with PCOS were evaluated through measuring serum hormone levels and oral glucose tolerance tests preconceptionally and gestationally. Results: In patients who were of normal weight showed significantly increased serum LH levels compared to those who were overweight (12.8+-0.9 Vs. 7.1+-0.8 mIU/ml, p= 0.000), and the serum levels of insulin was increased significantly in the overweight group (7.1+-0.7 Vs. 15.2+-2.8 ulU/ml, p= 0.000). the IGFBP-I (32.8+-10.6 Vs. 8.3+-2.5 ng/ml, p=0.034) and SHBG (55.8+-4.2 Vs. 37.1+-3.1 nmol/ml, p= 0.001) were significantly lower in the ovnweight group. The oral glucose tolerance test before/after pregnancy showed increased frequency of abnormal glucose metabolism, in both of the non-obese group (38.8%, 26,9%) and the obese group (64.2%, 53.9%) compared with normal population. Conclusion: It is thought that in the normal weight group with polycystic ovarian syndrome androgen production is stimulated in the theca cells by abnormally high LH secretion, while in the overweight group the hyperinsulinemia state which decreases the SHBG and IGFBP-I, lead to increase biologically active hee androgens and IGF-I and increase insulin binding to its receptor. And during/before pregnancy, women with PCOS showed that incidence of abnormal glucose metabolism was significantly increased in both of non-obese and obese groups.
유리강화플라스틱을 이용한 의장적 기둥의 설계를 위한 재료 실험 평가

유리강회플라스틱(GRP)은 재료의 자중에 비해 아주 높은 강도를 가지고 있다. 또한 부재의 두께에 따라서 투명 혹은 반투명의 효과를 거둘 수 있다. 하지만 Hand laminating의 특성상 일률적인 재료의 강도를 선뢰하기 어렵기 때문에 구조 계산 혹은 설계 시 반드시 재료 실험을 수행하여야한다. 본 논문은 두께 4mm, 높이 30m의 의장적 기둥을 구조적으로 설계하기 위한 재료 실험을 수행하였다. 또한 실험 결과에 대한 평가를 통해 DIN에서 규정하는 재료적인 강도와 비교 분석하였다. 이를 통해 규준에서 제시하는 값과의 차이를 확인했으며 실제 설계에 반영하기 위해 반드시 재료실험이 수행되어야함을 알 수 있다. Glass Reinforced Plastic(GRP) shows very high strength, comparing to the lightness of material. And the effect of transparency or semitransparency can be obtained by this material. However, due to the hand laminating for the GRP, the material properties can not be credible. Thus, the material test of GRP must be performed before the structural design. In this paper, material tests were performed for the design of the artistic column with 30m high and 4mm thickness. And the results of tests could be compared with DIN to evaluate the material properties for the application on the column.
