      • 저온처리한 Georgia lily의 촉성재배에 관한 연구

        Bulbs of the Georgia lily were planted and cooled under natural conditions in a cold frame. Other bulbs were precooled at 4-8℃. These bulbs were transplanted in a vinyl house varying the planting periods. Some of these bulbs were exposed to incandescent lights for experimental purposes. The bloom date, bloom rate, number of flowers, stem length, and number of leaves were recorded to study the effects influenced by the bulb weights and transplanting periods. Plant growth during normal growing season was also recorded. The results were as follows. 1. Naturally cooled Georgia lilies transplanted on Dec. 5 and Dec. 30 were among the first to bloom. Therefore, the Georgia lily may be planted in December, after chrysanthemums and other plants harvesteod from the same vinyl house. 2. The bloom rate and number of flowers increased in large bulbs. Stem lenghts were elongated considerably when the Georgia lily was transplanted earlier and larger bulbs were used. 15g-bulbs transplanted on Dec. 30 were 93.8% in bloom rate with 1.5 flowers and 54.5㎝ in stem lengths. 3. The leaves were more numerous when larger bulbs were planted and not influenced by the transplanting periods. 4. From the above results, it can be determined that 15g-bulbs of Georgia lily showed considerable growth effect when cooled naturally and growth is induced in a vinyl house. Therefore, forcing 15g-bulbs for cultivation is possible. 5. The weight of developed new bulbs was increased when transplanted earlier. 6. Precooling and lighting affected the earlier blooms, and the stem lengths were increased by lighting. 7. Internode was noticeably elongated as soon as the leaves emerged without rosetting of foliage on the precooled Georgia lily.

      • Lilium longiflorum Thunb. ‘Georgia’球根의 鱗片繁殖에 있어서 鱗片着生部位가 子球의 出葉에 미치는 影響

        This experiment was designed to clarify influence of the scale-positions on the leaf emergence from the scale bulblets and to investigate relationship between the leaf emergence of the scale bulblets and the changes in the endogenous growth substances of the scal-position on the parent bulbs at the dormant and post-dormant stage of Easter lily `Georgia'(Lilium longiflorum Thunb.). 1. The leaf emergence from the scale bulblets was inhibited at the high temperature during scaling of the dormant bulbs, whereas, in that of the post-dormant bulbs was promoted at the all temperature except for 30℃ only. 2. When scale propagation was conducted with the inner or middle scales at the post-dormant stage, scaly leaf and stem leaf was much more emerged as compared to those of other scale-positions. 3. Dark condition during scaling was promoted the formation of stem leaf, the scaling leaf was easily formed under the light condition and but stem leaf was especially accelerated at the 25℃ scaled under the light condition in the post-dormant stage, compared with other light plots. 4. The activity of endogenous auxins and gibberellins were increased in the scales of post-dormant bulbs promoted leaf emergence from the scale bulblets, however, in the those of dormant bulbs growth inhibiting substances were determined. The content of endogenous growth promotors were much more contained in the inner scales in contrast with that of the outer scales, in the post-dormant bulbs.

      • 宿根안개초의 組織培養에 있어서 Agar 濃度 및Auxins의 濃度가 Vitrification에 미치는 影響

        宿根안개草의 組織培養에 있어 培地에 첨가하는 agar濃度 및 auxins의 濃度가 vitrification에 미치는 影響을 調査한 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 草長, 生體種, 分枝數는 agar濃度가 높아질 수록 減少되는 傾向이었으며 auxins의 效果는 微弱하였다. 그러나 草場伸長에 있어서 IAA 1.0ppm+NAA 0.5ppm 및 IAA 2.0ppm+NAA 1.0ppm 첨 가구에서는 그 結果과 매우 良好하였다. 2. 發根所要日數에 있어서는 auxins의 첨가效果가 적었다. 그러나 根의 生育에 있어서는 IAA 1.0ppm+NAA 0.5ppm 및 IAA 2.0ppm+NAA 1.0ppm 첨 가구에 있어서 分化된 根의 生長이 매우 良好한 傾向이었다. 3. 健全株率에 있어서는 agar濃度가 높아질수록 增加하는 傾向이었으나 培地가 너무 硬化되면(1.5%) 地上部 및 地下部의 生育이 極히 低調하였다. 4. 以上을 綜合해 보면 宿根안개초의 組織培養時 外部環境에 대한 適應力이 높은 强健한苗의 育成을 위해서는 agar濃度 1.2%로 한 MS培地(RM1962)에 IAA 1.0ppm+NAA 0.5ppm 첨가培地를 使用하는 것이 바람직하다고 생각된다. The present work deals with the effect of agar and auxins concentrations on vitrification in tissue culture of Gypsophila paniculata L. cv. 'Bristol Fairy' in vitro. The results were summarized as follows. 1. Plant growth, that is , plant height, fresh weight and branching were decreased as increasing agar concentration. On the other hand, addition effect of IAA 1.0㎎/1+NAA 0.5㎎/1 and IAA 2.0㎎/1+NAA 1.0㎎/1 on the plant height were increased strikingly. 2. Addition effect of auxins on the days to rooting were little. And the root development showed same tendency as plant growth. 3. The rate of non-vitrified plants were gradually increased as rising agar concentration. But the addition of agar 1.5g/1 in the medium resulted in poor growth. 4. From these results, it was found that following media were the most effective for increasing of non-vitrified and good plant growth in Gypsophila paniculata L. tissue culture.       • Lilium elegans 'Connecticut King'의 鱗片繁殖에 있어 鱗片繁殖 時期와 方法이 子球의 出葉反應 및 開花에 미치는 影響

        This study was carried out to investigate the effect of scaling dates and methods or. the type and flowering from the formed scale bulblet during scale propagation of Lilium elegans 'Connecticut King' in outdoors. Before winter, scaly leaves were sprouted on bulblet in scales which are planted before September 20, but stem leaves were not emerged. In case of scales which are planted before July 20, the ratio of scaly leaf emergence in mother scale was higher under the light exposed scae than buried scaleg. After winter, both stem leaves and scaly leaves were sprouted from the bulblets which obtained from scaling before July 20. But. bulblets obtained from scaling before July 20. were sprouted only scaly leaves. Ratio of stem leaf emergence in bulblets of mother scale was higher than those of daughter scale. Also, this ratio under the light condition was higher than under the dark condition. It is possible to flower in scaling before July 20. Ratio of flowering was higher in planted scales before July 10 than planted July 20.

      • Georgia lily (Lilium longiflorm Thunb.) 의 鱗片緊殖에 關한 硏究 : 第2報 溫湯溫度가 鱗片葉의 發生및 子球肥大에 미치는 效果 Ⅱ. The effect of hot water treatment on scaly leaf emergence and fleshness of bulblet

        Scales taken from bulb of Georgia lily(Lilium longiflorum Thunb.) were treated with hot water (30˚-55℃) to investigate bulblet yield in 80 days and growth of scaly leaf emergence and fleshness and root length of bulblet for 80 days after scaling. The results obtained are as follows; 1. The hot water treatment to scale was effective on accelerating the scaly leaf emergence. 2. Dead scale was found more in the plot treated with hot water of 45℃ or higher. 3. Bulblet fleshness was pormoted considerably by hot water treatment, ranging from 35˚ to 40℃. 4. Bulblet fleshness had completed in about 60 days after scaling. 5. The longer root was found in the plot which scaly leaf grew vigorously.

      • Lilium elegans 'Connecticut King'의 促成栽培에 있어서 球根의 熟度 및 低溫處理期間이 生育 및 開花에 미치는 影響

        露地栽培한 Lilium elgans 'Connecticut king'의 球根 掘取時期를 開花期인 6월 5일부터 7월 25일까지 10일 間隔으로 나누고 殘存葉數를 달리해서 一定期間 冷藏處理(3±1℃, 0∼105日間 8處理)한 後 促成栽培한 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 萌芽率은 低溫處理期間이 길어질수록, 殘存葉數가 많을수록 그리고 球根肥大期間이 길수록 增加하는 傾向이었으며, 開花期의 未熟球根도 짧은 低溫處理로 높은 萌芽率을 나타내었다. 開花率을 보면 開花期의 未熟球根과 葉 10枚를 남기고 50日間 肥大시킨 球根 그리고 葉 20枚를 남기고 30日以上 肥大시킨 球根을 90日間 低溫處理하였을 때, 또 全葉을 남기고 30日以上 肥大시킨 球根을 60日間 低溫處理했을 때 90%以上의 開花率을 나타내었다. 2. 萌芽 및 開花소요日數는 低溫處理日數가 增加함에 따라 짧아지는 傾向이었으며 특히 開花소요日數에 있어서는 開花期의 未熟球根이 他 處理區에 비해 가장 짧았고 定植 後 100일 이내에 開花시킬 수 있었다. 3. 草長, 着花數, 經經등은 공히 開花後 球根 肥大期間이 길수록 增加하였으며 개화기의 未熟球根이 가장 저조한 生育을 나타내었다. 그러나 大球를 使用한다면 球根肥大期間없이 開花期의 未熟球根을 使用하여 年內 折花栽培가 가능할 것으로 判斷되었다. Effects of harvest date, number of the leaves remained on stump after flower cutting, duration of cold treatment on the growth and flowering of L. elegans 'Connecticut King' bulb were tested. Shoot emerging rate increased over 90% by delayed cold treatment, late harvesting time and more leaves remained. Flowering rate increased over 90% when conducted cold treatment of 90 days to the premature bulb at flowering date, the bulb matured for 50 days with 10 leaves and the bulb matured for over 30 days with 20 leaves, and when conducted cold treatment of 50 days to the bulb matured for over 30 days with all leaves. Delayed cold treatment duration shortened days needed to shoot emergence and flowering. Especially days to flower of the premature bulb at flowering date were the shortest of all treatments, and can be flowered within 100 days after planting. In generally, plant height, number of flowers per plant and stem diameter generally increased by longer bulb maturing period after flower cuting, and the premature bulb harvested at flowering date showed poor growing and flowering responses. But, if used the larger size bulb, ti is believed that the prematured bulb can be forced to flower normally in current year without bulb maturing period.

      • Lillium Species, shading treatment, growth and development, bulbil formation

        나리屬 植物에 있어서 遮光程度에 따른 種 혹은 品種間의 光反應의 差異를 究明하여 弱光에 鈍感한 植物의 選拔과 遮光이 珠芽形成에 미치는 影響을 알아보고자 自然光處理(對照品) 및 약 30%, 50%, 75%, 90%의 遮光 조건하에서 실험하여 얻은 結果는 다음과 같다. 開花率에 미치는 遮光처리의 효과는 'Roma'를 제외한 공시품종 모두 75% 遮光처리까지는 遮光정도가 심할수록 증가하는 傾向이었으나 95% 정도의 극심한 遮光처리구에서는 공시 품종 모두 매우 낮은 개화율을 보였다. 花數에 미치는 遮光처리의 효과도 이와 동일한 傾向이었다. 開花所要日數에 미치는 遮光처리의 영향을 보면 공시품종 모두 遮光이 심할수록 개화소요일수가 길어지는 傾向이었으나 'Roma'와 Tiger lily가 개체로 鈍感하여 대조구와 7일의 차이를 보인 반면, 다른 품종은 12-13일 정도의 차이를 보였다. 공시품종 모두 本葉數에는 遮光이 그다지 큰 영향을 미치지 않았으나 Tiger lily와 'Connecticut king'에서는 遮光率이 높아질수록 본엽수가 減少되었다. 苞葉數에 있어서는 공시 품종 모두 遮光率이 높아질수록 減少되는 京鄕이었다. 草長과 節間은 遮光率이 높아질수록 길어지는 傾向이었는데 'Georgia'가 가장 높은 伸長率을 나타냈다. 珠芽형성과 생육 정도에 미치는 遮光의 영향을 보면 'Enchantment'와 Tiger lily는 遮光率이 높아질수록 全體 珠芽數와 珠芽重이 減少되었다. 그러나 'Enchantment'의 경우 苞葉部位에 발생된 珠芽의 重量이 타 부위에서 형성된 珠芽보다 약간 무거운 傾向을 보였다. 'Connecticut king'과 'Roma'의 珠芽形成은 遮光 75%와 90%처리구에서 재배한 식물의 줄기 上部에서만 觀察되었다. 珠芽의 隣片葉 出葉率에 있어서는 'Enchantment'와 'Connecticut king'에서만 觀察되었고, 특히 苞葉부위에서 형성된 珠芽에서만 관찰되었는데 遮光정도가 强할수록 出葉率이 良好하였다. We investigated the effects of shading on the plant growth, flowering and the bulbil formation of Lilium species. As the shading treatment, we used full sunlight and various light intensity, 30%, 50%, 75%, 90% compared to full sunlight with shading net. The results obtained were as follows. The flowering rate and flower number of 'Roma' and 'Georgia' were not effected by various shading treatment. Days to flower in 'Roma' and Tiger lily showed similiar tendency like this. One of the shading effect was stem elongation of 'Connecticut king' markedly reduced compared with other cultivars in flowering rate and flower number. Leaf number of all cultivars was not consistent in tendency. But leaf number of Tiger lily and 'Connecticut king' reduced. The tendency of other experimented Lilium species weren't consistent. Bract leaf number reduced gradually as shading rate increased, plant height and internode length increased. Especially the height of 'Georgia' showed eminant increase compared with others. Total number and weight of bulbil of 'Enchantment' and Tiger lily reduced as shading rate increased.. But bulbil weight from bract part of 'Enchantment' in creased. The bulbils of 'Connecticut King' and 'Roma' appeared only on upper stem parts when treated serious shaded conditions, 75% and 90%. Only 'Connecticut King' and 'Enchantment' showed leaf emergence from bulbil among the L. elegans species.
