The optimum condition of water supply system is supply the city water to the user with suitable flow and constant pressure. The high level water tank system is applied to most building as a water supply method. This system is provide the city water by potential head from water tank on the top of the building. However it has some disadvantages such as reduced life of building due to load for water tank, pollution of water in the tank and unstable pressure head etc. In the present study were carried out to study the effect of booster pump system. There is three kinds of water supply method in the booster pump system; accumulator type, inverter type and mixed with accumulator and inverter type. The results show that mixed with accumulator and inverter type shows the most efficient booster pump system.

In gun drilling, the motion and attitude of the drill tip in a hole are indispensable to know the fundamental phenomenon and the dimensional accuracy of the hole is dominated by them. The behavior of drill tip is influenced by characteristics of the modified journal bearing. In this report is a comparative study for the oil film pressure around the drill tip and the damaged layer. Some results obtained are as follows. 1) The component pararell to the rake face shows a large increase when the drilling feed decreases and the drill tip flats antagonizing the cutting force. 2) The damaged layer is appeared to be equivalent to the around of the hole when the drilling feed increased and the supply pressure of cutting fluid decreased.

In the gun drilling, the damaged layer is influenced by the motion and attitude of the drill tip and drill conditions. Emprical data have been obtained for work material free cutting brass under representative drilling conditions. The main results obtained are as follows. 1) The damaged Layer is decreased with the increasing feed and speed, and the maximum is in feed 0.1mn/rev. 2) The fibre structure preponderates in the direction of symmetry, and roundness is ellipse type. 3) The critical feed is 0.4mn/rev.

Removing oil using mechanical devices were recommended because chemical dispersion could cause the secondary contamination in the environment. In the pre sent study a series of experiments were carried out to study the effect of operating conditions, especially, the oil thickness of spilled oil on the rate of recovery for the spilled oil using a belt skimmer. The type of operation, downward pickup situation have been investigated for various contact angles, belt speeds and oil thicknesses to find the effects on the recovery rate. The results show that rate of oil recovery was influenced contact angle and oil thickness because of starvation and instability.

This study of two fluid is in the case of oil recovery on the water. When belt moved up in the two fluid, pick up quality of oil and water by belt has variable by belt speed, contact angle and viscosity. The maximum quality of oil were 0.035m/s of the belt speed. Quality of oil decreased the belt speed higher and low viscosity because motion of two fluid interface. The pick up quality of water increased the belt speed higher linearly.
管路흐름에서 流速의 變化에 따른 逆流의 에너지 變化에 關한 考察

The moving fluid in pipe originate a back current when fluid velocity changed suddenly, and total head of fluid is increased for a back current. This article studied the variation of energy due to a back current. As a result of an experimental examination, it turned out that : 1) Flow a hack ourrent is turbulent and it causes increasing momentary of total head. 2) Variation of total head is influenced to distance that a back current progressed, Reynolds number, and pipe diameter.

The two-phase flow is generated variation of turbulent energy by the reciprocal action between fluid and particle flows. In this paper investigated to the influence of partide flow that measured friction factor in the pipe flows. Using pipes diamenter are 0.02m, 0.032m. As a result of an experimental, it turned out that; 1)The friction factor of two phase flow were decreased the influence of particle when the Reynold number increased at the laminar flow region. 2)The minimum of friction factor ratio appeared about Reynold number 10⁴and friction factor influenced relative size of paticle by the pipe diameters.

There exists friction drag between the boundary layer and solid wall. The friction coefficient on the wall is influenced by the transition from laminar to turbulent flow that are basically caused by the momentum, the thermal energy, the turbulence energy, amplitude, and the turbulent scale. In this paper was studied on the transition from laminar to turbulent flow. In result, the transition location is determined by the characteristics of the disturbances outside the boundary layer and for a zero pressure gradient on the disturbances amplitude and scale.

Generally we have difficulty in removing oil using mechanical devices because recovery rate and recovery efficiency decrease from starvation and loss of removal remarkably. In the present study a series of experiments were carried out to study the effect of operating conditions on the rate of recovery for the spiled oil using a drum type skimmer. For each set of experiments clearance between drum type disc in current conditions and the circumferential speeds were varied systematically to find the effects on the recovery rate. The results shows that recovery rate is dependent on the clearance between drum type disc for the starvation and the highest rate of oil recovery shows in the case of a clearance 20mm in the depth of immersion 53mm and oil film thickness 2.5mm. For the removal of spilled oil the optimal Circumferential speed can be found as the critical value to reach the saturated recovery rate for a clearance between drum type disc in current conditions.

In the present study a series of experiments were carried out to study the effect of operating conditions on the rate of recovery for the spilled oil using a disk type skimmer. For each set of experiments depth of immersion, oil film thickness and the circumferential speeds were varied systematically to find the effects on the recovery rate. The results show that recovery rate is dependent on the depth of immersion and the highest rate of oil recovery shows in the case of a ratio of immersion. For the removal of spilled oil the optimal circumferential speed can be found as the critical value to reach the saturated recovery rate for a given oil film thickness and depth of immersion.
