A modified space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) strategy based on vector space decomposition and its equivalent carrier-based PWM realization are proposed in this paper, which is suitable for six-phase asymmetrical dual stator induction machines (DSIMs). A DSIM is composed of two sets of symmetrical three-phase stator windings spatially shifted by 30 electrical degrees and a squirrel-cage type rotor. The proposed SVPWM technique can reduce torque ripples and suppress the harmonic currents flowing in the stator windings. Above all, the equivalent relationship between the proposed SVPWM technique and the carrier-based PWM technique has been demonstrated, which allows for easy implementation by a digital signal processor (DSP). Simulation and experimental results, carried out separately on a simulation system and a 3.0 kW DSIM prototype test bench, are presented and discussed.

The reductive amination of cyclohexanone with ammonia over Cu-Cr-a/γ-Al2O3 was investigated. It was found that a proper solvent with high solubility of ammonia and 4Å molecular sieves for the elimination of generated water contributed to the formation of cyclohexylamine in the premixing process. In addition, the addition of ammonia in the fixedbed reactor could obviously improve the conversion of cyclohexanone to cyclohexylamine. Finally, reaction conditions including reaction temperature, hydrogen pressure and charging rate of the premix were optimized. Under the optimized conditions, cyclohexylamine was obtained in 83.06% yield.

In this work, an affinity nanofiber membrane was successfully prepared by solution blowing of arginine-modified chitosan (CS-Arg) for bovine serum albumin (BSA) adsorption. CS-Arg was firstly synthesized by coupling L-arginine onto chitosan backbone. Then, CS-Arg nanofiber membranes (CANFs) were fabricated using solution blowing process with Polylactide (PLA) as assistant polymer. The results showed that CANFs effectively adsorbed BSA, and the adsorption capacities were influenced by the degrees of substitution (DS) of arginine in CS, pH value, contact time, and initial protein concentration. The highest adsorption capacity of 445.19 mg/g was achieved uvnder the following conditions: DS of 43.7 %, pH of 7.14, and initial concentration of 3.0 mg/ml. BSA adsorbed on the CANFs membrane conformed to Langmuir model, and the adsorption rate was consistent with the second-order kinetics model. This work implies that an arginine-modified chitosan nanofiber-based novel biomaterial has a potential application in adsorption of BSA.

A new type of hydrophobic polyacrylonitrile (PAN) nanofiber is fabricated by solution blowing of a blend solution of fluorine-containing polyacrylate (FPA) and PAN. The nanofibers’ surface composition, hydrophobicity, and protection ability were evaluated to clarify the effects of FPA addition. Results revealed that FPA addition increased the nanofiber diameter, as well as enhanced the hydrophobicity and transport properties of the nanofiber mats. The mats had average water contact angles of 123.44 o, 132.11 o, and 137.11 o for FPA contents of 0.66 wt%, 1.98 wt%, and 3.30 wt%, respectively. All these results suggested the potential of the solution blowing nanofiber mats as protection materials.

In order to make reasonable design for the improvement of comprehensive mechanical properties of RAFM steels, the design system with both machine learning and high-throughput optimization algorithm was established. As the basis of the design system, a dataset of RAFM steels was compiled from previous literatures. Then, feature engineering guided random forests regressors were trained by the dataset and NSGA II algorithm were used for the selection of the optimal solutions from the large-scale solution set with nine composition features and two treatment processing features. The selected optimal solutions by this design system showed prospective mechanical properties, which was also consistent with the physical metallurgy theory. This efficiency design mode could give the enlightenment for the design of other metal structural materials with the requirement of multi-properties.
