        ASSVD: Adaptive Sparse Singular Value Decomposition for High Dimensional Matrices

        In this paper, an adaptive sparse singular value decomposition (ASSVD) algorithm is proposed to estimate the signal matrix when only one data matrix is observed and there is high dimensional white noise, in which we assume that the signal matrix is low-rank and has sparse singular vectors, i.e. it is a simultaneously low-rank and sparse matrix. It is a structured matrix since the non-zero entries are confined on some small blocks. The proposed algorithm estimates the singular values and vectors separable by exploring the structure of singular vectors, in which the recent developments in Random Matrix Theory known as anisotropic Marchenko-Pastur law are used. And then we prove that when the signal is strong in the sense that the signal to noise ratio is above some threshold, our estimator is consistent and outperforms over many state-of-the-art algorithms. Moreover, our estimator is adaptive to the data set and does not require the variance of the noise to be known or estimated. Numerical simulations indicate that ASSVD still works well when the signal matrix is not very sparse.

        An Improved Coverless Text Steganography Algorithm Based on Pretreatment and POS

        Steganography is a current hot research topic in the area of information security and privacy protection. However, most previous steganography methods are not effective against steganalysis and attacks because they are usually carried out by modifying covers. In this paper, we propose an improved coverless text steganography algorithm based on pretreatment and Part of Speech (POS), in which, Chinese character components are used as the locating marks, then the POS is used to hide the number of keywords, the retrieval of stego-texts is optimized by pretreatment finally. The experiment is verified that our algorithm performs well in terms of embedding capacity, the embedding success rate, and extracting accuracy, with appropriate lengths of locating marks and the large scale of the text database.

        Back-stepping Active Disturbance Rejection Control for Attitude Control of Aircraft Systems Based on Extended State Observer

        Robust flight control laws based on back-stepping technology and ADRC method are designed for attitude control of a non-linear aircraft system. First, non-linear aircraft model is introduced and converted to standard equation of state. Then, the extended state observer is applied to estimate the unknown variables, the homologous ADRC is designed to ensure the state variables of the CLS to astringe to the reference state. Next, the stability of ESO and ADRC are analyzed and proven theoretically. At last, the effectiveness of this method is illustrated by extensive comparative simulations. The results acquired from simulation attest that ADRC can achieve better control performance than PID and SMC method.

        Active Disturbance Rejection Control for Attitude Control of Missile Systems Based on Back-stepping Method

        In this paper, a novel attitude control method for nonlinear missile system is proposed, which combines backstepping technique with linear active disturbance rejection control (LADRC). Firstly, the nonlinear missilemodel is introduced and transformed into the standard state equation. The linear extended state observer (LESO) is used to estimate the unknown variables. Compared with PID control method, the homologous LADRC designensures that the state variables of the closed-loop system converge to the reference state. The stability of LESO and LADRC is theoretically analyzed and proved. A large number of comparative simulations show the effectiveness ofthe method. The simulation results show that LADRC has better control performance than SMC and PID method.

        Synthesis and Properties of Benzodithiophene-Based Donor-Acceptor Metallo-Supramolecular Polymers

        Two new conjugated donor-acceptor (D-A) supramolecular building blocks, which contain benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene (BDT) electron-donating cores modified with alkoxy (BDT-OR) or thiophene (BDT-Th) groups and electron-accepting 2,2':6',2''-terpyridine moieties, were synthesized via Pd-catalyzed Stille coupling. Under the introduction of transition metal ion Ru2+, the novel metallo-supramolecular polymers PBDT-OR and PBDT-Th were obtained by self-assembly polymerization of the monomeric building blocks BDT-OR and BDT-Th, respectively. The resulting polymers exhibit broad absorption band from 300 to 600 nm. The embedding of the transition metal ions Ru2+ into the backbones of the supramolecular polymers increases the electron-withdrawing capacity of the terpyridine moieties. Consequently, the absorption bands of both PBDT-OR and PBDT-Th exhibit red-shift at the longer wavelength compared with the corresponding monomeric building blocks, 622 nm for PBDT-OR and 625 nm for PBDT-Th, which results from intramolecular charge transfer (ICT). The LUMO energy levels of PBDT-OR and PBDT-Th are similar, -3.44 and -3.43 eV, respectively, while their HOMO energy levels are different, -5.25 and 5.17 eV, respectively, due to distinct electron-donating abilities of the BDT cores modified with alkoxy and thiophene groups. PBDT-OR and PBDT-Th show reduced electrochemical energy gaps, 1.81 and 1.74 eV, respectively. Meanwhile, the resulting polymers PBDT-OR and PBDT-Th are thermally stable under 300 and 389 oC, respectively.
