Due to characteristics of Folk dance, which was informal and improvised nature, it could be enjoyed anyone of all genders and ages. Since folk dance had not demanding techniques or require of separate training courses, which made it movements to folk song rather than dance. Therefore folk dance had not even mentioned in the category of dance. However, researchers consider the unique characteristics of folk dance as alternatives to solve problems such as difficult situation of being employed for th majored, decreasing the number of dancer population with the prejudice that Korean dances are difficult for general people. Breaking the myth that Korean dances can be performed easily and facilitate access to learning it may be the first alternative to acquire of popularity for Korean dance. On the educational site, as new educational contents which could enhance understanding of and interest in Korean traditional dances, the potential of traditional dances are going to review. Folk songs were classified into ``local folk`` and ``folk ballad``, ``Local folk`` contains different customs and emotions from lives exposed in local people based on unique feature of the areas from their loves. Folkish functions of folk song was Harambee, Ceremony song, Play song. The arrangement and applications of applicable standards on creative folk song-dance based on folk song`s rhythm and intensity of which regional features, the expansion of regional folk song-dance repertoire were required to be studied along with plans to popularize Korean dance.
