Road excitation is the basic input of vehicle vibration, which greatly impacts on vehicle ride comfort. In addition, it can cause vertical vibration of the vehicle, leading to deformation of the powertrain mount. Similarly, the longitudinal movement of the powertrain can also cause deformation of the powertrain mount. Due to the effect of the powertrain mount, there is a mutual coupling between the vehicle in the longitudinal and vertical directions, which has a great influence on the smoothness and comfort of the vehicle. In order to reveal the impact of random road excitation on the vehicle dynamic characteristics of a dual clutch transmission (DCT) vehicle under starting and shifting conditions, a longitudinal-vertical coupled dynamic model of the DCT vehicle considering the powertrain mount was established. This model includes dynamic torque model of the engine, powertrain mount model, transmission system model, tire model and road excitation model. The influence of random road excitation on the vehicle’s dynamic characteristics is analyzed under starting, shifting, and different starting and shifting intentions. The simulation results of the longitudinal-vertical coupling dynamic DCT vehicle model considering road excitation are compared with vehicle test results, the model is found to accurately reflect the influence of road excitation on the dynamic performance of DCT vehicles under starting and shifting conditions, thus verifying the correctness of the model.

Nitrogen-containing porous carbons, the 800SP-NH3, were synthesized using sunflower plates as the major carbon source carbonized at 800 oC and activated with concentrated aqueous ammonia at the same temperature. The porous carbons were characterized by nitrogen physical adsorption-desorption, surface area analyzer, FT-IR, and SEM. The adsorption properties of the porous carbons towards phenols were also investigated by batch methods. The test results show that the average pore diameter of porous carbon is smaller than 2 nm, and nitrogen-containing chemical groups are formed on its surface. The adsorption capacity for phenol, 4-chlorophenol, and p-nitrophenol is 316.5mg/g, 330.24mg/g and 387.62mg/g due to its developed pore structure and nitrogen-containing chemical groups. The adsorption isotherm data greatly obey the Langmuir model.

Zinc(II) tetra-(2-chloropropionylamido) phthalocyanine (TAPcCl) was synthesized as the initiator for atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). Using CuBr/tris(2-dimethylaminoethyl)amine as the catalyst system,ATRP of N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAM) was performed to create a new star-shaped poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)(PNIPAM) with a zinc phthalocyanine core and PNIPAM arms (TAPc-PAM). The structures of the initiator and the polymers were characterized by means of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and proton nuclear magnetic resonance. The polydispersity index obtained by gel permeation chromatography indicated that the molecular weight distribution was narrow. The lower critical solution temperatures (LCST) for the TAPc-PAM aqueous solutions measured using the turbidimetry method were increased due to incorporation of the phthalocyanine core and decreased as molecular weight increased. TAPc-PAM possessed photocatalytic activity, a finding that was verified by Rhodamine B degradation in the presence of hydrogen peroxide under visible light. Moreover, the catalytic efficiency was higher at its LCST, which encouraged reuse of the photocatalyst.
Synthesis of Stereoblock Polypropylene by Change of Temperature in Living Polymerization

[t-BuNSiMe2(3,6-t-Bu2Flu)]TiMe2 (1) combined with trialkylaluminum-free modified methylaluminoxane (dMMAO) was used to induce the living polymerization of propylene in toluene at -20, 0, and 25 oC with control of the syndiospecificity. After the first polymerization at -20 oC, the same amounts of propylene were added at 25 oC for the second polymerization. The resulting PP was syndiotactic-rich (rr = 0.75), the value of which is the arithmetical average ((0.89 + 0.60)/2 = 0.745) of those produced at -20 and 25 oC. These results indicate the formation of the expected syndiotactic-atactic di-stereoblock PP.
A Study on the PV Simulator using Multiphase buck converter

For a better researching and utilization of the photovoltaic system, this paper presents a design method for the photovoltaic simulator based on multiphase buck converter and DSP controller. The control mechanism is based on a more precise calculation method with current mode controller. With the new control strategy, this PV simulator can simulate the output characteristics of any types PV arrays under different working conditions. An actual PV simulator has been built and tested with a variable resistive load and a constant power load as well. The experiment result shows that the output characteristics of the PV simulator are consistent with the actual PV arrays’ and the PV simulator could also shift smoothly on its I-V characteristics.
