        DISTANCE TWO LABELING ON THE SQUARE OF A CYCLE

        An L(2; 1)-labeling of a graph G is a function f from the vertex set V (G) to the set of all non-negative integers such that ${\mid}f(u)-f(v){\mid}{\geq}2$ if d(u, v) = 1 and ${\mid}f(u)-f(v){\mid}{\geq}1$ if d(u, v) = 2. The ${\lambda}$-number of G, denoted ${\lambda}(G)$, is the smallest number k such that G admits an L(2, 1)-labeling with $k=\max\{f(u){\mid}u{\in}V(G)\}$. In this paper, we consider the square of a cycle and provide exact value for its ${\lambda}$-number. In addition, we also completely determine its edge span.

        Optimal radiocoloring of trees

        A Radiocoloring (RC) of a graph $G$ is a function $f$ from the vertex set $V(G)$ to the set of all non-negative integers (labels) such that $|f(u)-f(v)|\geq 2$ if $d(u,v) = 1$ and $|f(u)-f(v)|\geq 1$ if $d(u, v) = 2$. The number of discrete labels and the range of labels used are called order and span, respectively. In this paper, we concentrate on the minimum order span Radiocoloring Problem (RCP) of trees. The optimization version of the minimum order span RCP that tries to find, from all minimum order assignments, one that uses the minimum span. We provide attainable lower and upper bounds for trees. Moreover, a complete characterization of caterpillars (as a subclass of trees) with the minimum order span is given.

        Negative electrode structure design in InSb focal plane array detector for deformation reduction

        When an indium antimonide (InSb) infrared focal plane array (IRFPA) is subjected to a thermal shock test, most of the cracks originatefrom the region over the negative electrode, which restricts its final yield. In light of the proposed equivalent modeling, three negativeelectrode structures are assessed to eliminate the accumulated deformation around the negative electrode. Simulation results show thatwhen a thicker indium bump array is connected directly with negative InSb material, the accumulated thermal deformation is the minimum,the top surface of InSb chip is the smoothest, and the square checkerboard buckling pattern, present clearly in both gold bufferlayer and sparse thicker indium bump array structure, seems to be unclear. All these mean that a thicker indium bump array structure is agood choice, which will benefit to reduce fracture probability of InSb IRFPAs under thermal shock.

        Thermal buckling analysis in InSb focal plane arrays detector

        When exploring the buckling mechanism in indium antimonide (InSb) detector, the global square checkerboard buckling pattern reappears in finite element simulation results. The contributions from the three layered materials to the deformations along the Z-direction are systematically analyzed. Analysis of results shows that the buckling deformation originated from the thermal difference between silicon readout integrated circuits (silicon-ROIC) and the intermediate layer directly above. Furthermore, the buckling pattern is determined by indium bumps array. After passing through the 10 μm intermediate layer, the deformation amplitude is significantly reduced from 2.23μm to 0.24 μm. Afterwards, passing upward through the 10 μm InSb chip, the maximal deformation is further decreased to 0.09 μm.

        Dually flat and projectively flat Finsler warped product structures

        In this paper, we study the Finsler warped product metric which is dually flat or projectively flat. The local structures of these metrics are completely determined. Some examples are presented.

        木下尚江(1869-1937)は日本近代史における最も影響力がある反戦団体「平民社」の中心メンバーであるが、彼の日本近代反戦文学史における多大なる価値は未だ充分に明らかにされていない。『火の柱』、『良人の自白』、『霊か肉か』をはじめとする木下尚江の小説では、「恋愛」と「反戦」が小説のプロットを進展させる二つの要素で、ロマンチックな「恋愛」物語とヒロイズム的な「反戦」闘士の物語が混じり合った二重構造を成り立たせている。本稿はこの二重構造を突破口として、尚江の反戦文学ないし反戦思想の本質と特徴を分析した。尚江文学における「反戦」はすべて作者自身の平民社時期の活動に基づいたもので、男主人公の政治理想における一番重要な内容として描写されている。これは明治文学史ないし戦前の文学史にもごく珍しいことである。尚江の思想では、「恋愛」は人道主義の類語で、彼の個人主義の立場と緊密な関係がある。であるから、尚江の文学では「恋愛」の地位と重要性は次第に「反戦」を超え、テキストの中心的位置を占めるようになっている。そして、「反戦」と「恋愛」の共通点と接点は「神」であるが、この接点は失敗していて、本質的な繋がりを成立させなかったのである。木下尚江は日本近代反戦文学の本格的な出発点と言えるほどの存在で、彼の反戦文学に含まれる人道主義や、個人主義と政治理想の関係などの問題点は以後の反戦文学史や反戦思想史にも重要な課題となっている。 Kinoshita Naoe is a core member of Heiminsha, which is the most influential anti-war group in modern Japanese history, but the value of his anti-war literature has not yet been fully recognized. In novels like Pillar of Fire, Confessions of a good man, and Soul or Body, Kinoshita Naoe employs a two-line structure that interweaves the themes of “anti-war” and “love”. This structure provides a compelling lens through which to delve into the connotation and value of Kinoshita’s anti-war literature. Kinoshita Naoe’s anti-war writing is closely related to his own anti-war experience with Heiminsha. “Anti-war” is the most important political ideal of the heroes in his works, which is rare in Japanese prewar literature. In Kinoshita’s thoughts, “love” is almost a synonym for humanitarianism, which is inseparable from his individualistic stance. Therefore, in his literature, prominence of “love” gradually supersedes that of “anti-war” and occupies a central position in the text. Both “anti-war” and “love” are premised on the existence of “God”. However, the role of ‘God’ ultimately fails in establishing a true connection between “anti -war” and “love”. The anti-war literature and ideology of Kinoshita Naoe mark a significant starting point in the history of modern anti-war culture and literature in Japan. The relationship between humanism, individualism, and political ideals in his anti -war literature has also emerged as a pivotal concern in subsequent discussions on the history of anti- war literature and ideology.

        Analysis of Rock Mass Parameters and Plastic Zone of a Tunnel in Southwest Mountainous Area

        The deformation damage and support difficulties caused by the formation and expansion of plastic zone of surrounding rock have always been urgent engineering problems to be solved, especially in areas with prominent non-uniform stress fields. Choosing a reasonable and practical method to determine the plastic zone is of great significance for ensuring the long-term stability and safety of tunnels. Based on a tunnel project in the southwest mountainous area, this paper conducted mechanical tests to obtain the mechanical parameters of granite. The analytical method optimized based on the principle of stress balance was applied, and the numerical simulation was carried out according to the field displacement monitoring data and experimental parameters, the plastic zone of the medium quality granite cross-section and fault fracture zone granite cross-section was analyzed comprehensively. The results shown that the analytical and numerical solutions are in good agreement with engineering practice. It proved that the theory and method in this paper are scientific and practical in engineering. The research results can provide support for the design optimization and construction safety of the tunnel, and the research ideas and methods can also provide reference for similar projects.

        Purification and properties of a milk-clotting enzyme produced by Bacillus amyloliquefaciens D4

        The milk-clotting enzyme from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens D4 was purified to 17.2-fold with 20% recovery by precipitation in ammonium sulfate and ion-exchange chromatography. The molecular mass of the enzyme was 58.2kDa as determined by SDS-PAGE, and it was proved to be a metalloprotease by EDTA inhibition. The enzyme was active in the pH range 5.5-7.0 and was inactivated completely by heating at 55℃ for 20 min. The highest level of enzyme activity was obtained at 65 ℃, pH 5.5, in the presence of 25mM CaCl_2. The milk-clotting activity was inhibited only slightly by Na^+ and K^+ and significantly by Cu^(2+), Zn^(2+) and Sn^(2+). The Km value of this enzyme was 0.471 mg/mL. The high level of milk-clotting activity coupled with a low level of thermal stability suggested that the milk-clotting enzyme from B. amyloliquefaciens D4 should be considered as a potential substitute for calf rennet.
