The IEEE 802.15.4 protocol has been recently proposed as a wireless communication standard for low-rate, low-power Wireless Sensor Networks. This protocol has many benefits, such as power-efficient & robust Physical layer, flexible and various parameterized Medium Access Control layer. We have tested and analyzed for BO and SO MAC parameter with various value for optimal MAC parameter setting, and simulated the BLE mode for optimal performance and analyzed the effects of BLE mode in low traffic environment.

The intended market space of applications using the ZigBee standard is home control, building automation and industrial automation. With these applications in mind the standard is optimized for low data rates, low power consumption, security and reliability. We have fulfilled a performance evaluation and analysis of the beacon-enabled ZigBee network. We also proposed an efficient beacon scheduling algorithm, and have tested the beacon scheduling between routers, found that there is no collision.
