통신사는 한양을 출발하여 에도까지 왕래하였다. 이 과정에 대마도는 통신사의 호송을 책임졌으며, 통신사수행원과 사행과 관련된 제반사항을 협의하였다. 이런 까닭에 통신사행에 있어서 대마도의 역할은 중요하였다. 임진왜란 이전의 통신사행록에서는 ``대마도``를 ``왜구 근거지``, ``교린의 대상``, ``附庸``으로 인식하고 있다. 송희경이 사행하던 15세기에는 대마도 사람들을 물고기 잡는 해적으로 생각하고 있었다. 이는 당시 ``해적``의 본거지로 ``대마도``가 거론되고 있었기 때문이다. 대마도정벌이후 조선에서 대마도를 기미관계로 묶어 관리하면서 대일외교의 중간자 역할을 하였다. 1590년 사행한 김성일은 대마도를 ``附庸``으로 인식하면서도 이들을 경계해야 한다고 보았다. 임진왜란 이후의 통신사행록에서는 대마도를 ``東藩``과 ``異境``, 의례의 조정지, 교류의 공간, ``利窟`` 등으로 인식하고 있다. 임진왜란 이후에도 대마도가 조선의 경제적 지원을 받으면서 살아가기 때문에, 조선의 藩臣으로 인식하고 있었다. 그렇지만 통신사가 대마도에 도착한 이후 이질적인 풍습과 자연경관을 발견하고, 이를 기록하는 과정에 대마도의 풍속이 사실적으로 재현되었고, 비문명성을 드러내는 수단이 되었다. ``선계`` 등 낭만적 인식은 외교적 수사에 불과하였다. 통신사와 대마도는 외교 의례문제로 충돌하는 일이 잦았다. 이런 갈등은 에도에서의 예의를 정비하는 과정이었다. 이때 ``등록``과 ``통신사행록``이 이용되었다. 대마도는 교류의 공간이기도 하였다. 양국의 외교적 상황에 따라 차이는 있었지만, 문화교류가 지속되고 있었고, 그 교류는 ``통신사와 일본문사간의 시문교류``, ``재능을 지닌 기예인들의 공연``, ``개인적인 흥취에서 비롯한 교류``로 구분할 수 있다. 통신사는 대마도를 ``利窟``로 인식하고 있었다. 이러한 생각은 대마도가 조선에 의존하면서도, 사행에 관여하여 이권을 챙기고 있다고 인식한 결과이다. 동일한 이유로 통신사행의 실무와 무역을 담당하는 역관에 대해서도 비판적인 시각을 보이고 있다. Communications men departed from Hanyang and came back via Gangho. During the course, Tsushima Island was responsible for the escort to Gangho, and discussed overall matters related to envoys` visit with the staffs in charge of Joseon. Because of such reasons, the role of Tsushima Island was very important for envoys` visit for communicative purpose. And because Joseon recognized ``Tsushima Island`` separately from ``Japan``, Joseon could recognize only ``Tsushima Island`` separately. As to envoys` visit for communicative purpose before Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592 (the Imjin War) and ``Tsushima Island``, we can study by dividing into Tsushima Island as ``the base for Japanese invaders`` and Tsushima Island as ``useful place``. But because there aren`t many existing records of envoys` visit about those days, it is not easy to examine concrete situations. On the contrary, we can examine concrete matters because there are many existing records of envoys` visit after the Imjin War. As to envoys` visit for communicative purpose after Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592 (the Imjin War) and ``Tsushima Island``, the researcher studied by dividing into Tsushima Island as ``the Eastern fence``, Tsushima Island as ``different place``, Tsushima Island having complications because of ``ceremonial problems``, Tsushima Island as ``the place for cultural exchange``, and Tsushima Island as ``the sharp cave``. Even after the Imjin War, because Joseon supported Tsushima Island economically, recognition as Joseon`s faithful retainer didn`t change. If the communications men arrived at Tsushima Island with such recognition after departing from Joseon, they found heterogeneous customs and beautiful natural landscape. In the course of recording this, customs of Tsushima Island was reproduced factually and the record was also used as means for revealing its non-civilized status. In the aspect of literature, the record was also used as diplomatic means, revealing romantic perception such as ``Seonkye(仙界)`` In case of diplomatic conflicts between the communications men and officers of ``DeokCheonMakBu``, Tsushima Island happened to become the target of criticism between them. In addition, Tsushima Island was also ``the test space for cultural exchanges`` where performances were practiced before the actual performance at Gangho. Economically, because Tsushima Island was in charge of intermediary trade between Joseon and Japan, it was recognized as ``the sharp cave`` and such recognition appeared continuously.
분광법을 이용한 토양 유기물의 간이 측정 방법의 국내 적용 가능성

A method currently used to determine soil organic matter (SOM), Tyurin method, is time consuming and expensive while accurate. Recently, a spectrophotometric determination was reported to be rapid, accurate, stable, easy to execute, and amendable to field use for soil samples obtained from Texas, USA. The objective of this study was to test if the spectrophotometric method is applicable to soils in Korea. Soil organic matter was extracted by 1 M HCl followed by a 0.25 M NaOH-0.1 M sodium pyrophosphate solution at a ratio of 1:250 soil:extractant. Soil organic matter determined by Tyurin method was linearly related to the value based on absorbance at 300 nm of the soil extracts with a coefficient of determination (r<SUP>2</SUP>) of 0.81. Therefore, the result imply that this spectrophotometric method can be used to determine the soil organic matter of agricultural soils in Korea.
Micro-grid Modeling for the Off-grid Power System Based on PSCAD/EMTDC

Recently, as one of policies for carbon dioxide reduction, operation method of independent power system replacing diesel generator with renewable energy such as wind power and photovoltaic (PV) system has been presented. Therefore, this paper proposes an operation algorithm and modeling of independent power system by considering CVCF (constant voltage constant frequency) ESS (energy storage system) for constant frequency and voltage, LC (load control) ESS (energy storage system) for demand and supply balancing and SVC (static var compensator) for reactive power compensation. From the simulation results based on the various operation scenario, it is confirmed that proposed operation algorithm and carbon dioxide reduction in independent power system.
