Multi-Devices Composition and Maintenance Mechanism in Mobile Social Network
WenJing Li,Yifan Ding,Shaoyong Guo,Xuesong Qiu 한국통신학회 2015 Journal of communications and networks Vol.17 No.2
In mobile social network, it is a critical challenge to select an optimal set of devices to supply high quality service constantly under dynamic network topology and the limit of device capacity in mobile ad-hoc network (MANET). In this paper, a multi-devices composition and maintenance problem is proposed with ubiquitous service model and network model. In addition, a multi-devices composition and maintenance approach with dynamic planning is proposed to deal with this problem, consisting of service discovery, service composition, service monitor and service recover. At last, the simulation is implemented with OPNET andMATLAB and the result shows this mechanism is better applied to support complex ubiquitous service.

Background Implant-supported dentures have become an essential means of restoring occlusal function after jaw reconstruction. Bone mineral density (BMD) may influence the success rate of implant denture restorations. This study aimed to explore whether the Hounsfield unit (HU) value can be used to monitor the changing trend of fibular BMD after jaw reconstruction. Results A total of 54 patients who underwent maxillar/mandibular reconstruction with a fibula flap were included in this study. There was a significant correlation between the HU value and BMD at 1 week, 3 months, and 6 months after surgery, and both were significantly correlated with follow-up time. The difference between each pair of absorption rates (DAR) was less than 10% in 66.7% and 75.9% of patients at 3 and 6 months; however, the DAR was more than 20% in 12% and 13.8% of patients at 3 and 6 months, respectively. Conclusions There is a significant correlation between HU value and BMD. The HU value can be used to roughly reflect the fibular BMD changing trend in a group of patients as opposed to an individual, and the HU value is not equivalent to BMD. Background/Aims Chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction (CIPO) is a serious, life-threatening motility disorder that is often related to bacterial overgrowth. Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) results in restoration of the normal intestinal microbial community structure. We investigated the efficacy of FMT in the treatment of CIPO patients. Methods Nine patients (age 18-53 years) with CIPO were enrolled in this prospective, open-label study. Patients received FMT for 6 consecutive days through nasojejunal (NJ) tubes and were followed up for 8 weeks after treatment. We evaluated the rate of clinical improvement and remission, feeding tolerance of enteral nutrition, and CT imaging scores of intestinal obstructions. Lactulose hydrogen breath tests were performed before FMT and 8 weeks after FMT to evaluate for the presence small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). Results FMT significantly alleviated bloating symptoms, and symptoms of pain were relieved 2 weeks after FMT. Enteral nutrition administered through a NJ tube after FMT was well-tolerated by 66.7% (6/9) of patients. CT scores of intestinal obstructions were significantly reduced after FMT (P = 0.014). SIBO was eliminated in 71.0% (5/7) of patients. Conclusions This pilot study demonstrated the safety of using FMT. FMT may relieve symptoms in selected patients with CIPO. FMT may also improve patient tolerance of enteral nutrition delivered via a NJ tube. (J Neurogastroenterol Motil 2017;23:289-297)

In the Wireless Sensor Network, a new MAC protocol: one-persistent CSMA protocol with monitoring functions and multichannel mechanism for Wireless Sensor Network based on conflict resolution algorithm is proposed. Protocol from the system throughput, collision rate, better service quality for higher priority and other aspects improve the traditional CSMA system to perfect the controllability of the system, making the system more stable for the big data, better adapted to different business. The average cycle method is used to derive rigorous mathematical expressions of specific relevant parameters. Using MATLAB simulation tool for the accuracy of the agreement is demonstrated.

<P>To understand the origin of the triangular shaped graphene, we systematically investigated the thermodynamics and kinetics of graphene growth on Ni(111) surface. It was found that the fcc staking of graphene on the substrate is more energetically favorable than other stacking sequences. Under the near thermoequilibrium condition, a graphene island will present a truncated triangular shape with alternative zigzag (ZZ) and ZZ-Klein edges; its growth is either on the top of the terrace (on-top mode) or embedded into the metal lattice (inlay mode). If the growth process is controlled by kinetics of carbon atom incorporation, the shape of a graphene island will be triangular because of the significant growth rate difference between the ZZ and ZZ-Klein edges. This study reveals the atomic details of graphene growth on Ni(111) surface, and the deep insights into the mechanism of graphene CVD growth may lead to the rational design of experiments for the growth of desired graphene and other 2D materials.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/jpccck/2018/jpccck.2018.122.issue-6/acs.jpcc.7b09814/production/images/medium/jp-2017-09814u_0001.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/jp7b09814'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>

This paper presents a new sensor network MAC protocol: the multi-channel p - persistent CSMA protocol with monitoring function (ACKPPCMA) from the perspective of improving the channel utilization and meeting the demand of the high QoS for high priority. Analyze the model by using the average cycle method. The Computer simulation results verify the correctness of the theory. Has some practical significance.
