Cascade hydrogenation of n-C16 to produce jet fuel over tandem catalysts of modified ZSM-22
Yi Li,Junhao Sun,Jie Wei,Chao Mu,Yujun Zhao,Shengping Wang,Xinbin Ma 한국공업화학회 2022 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.111 No.-
ZSM-22 with one-dimensional straight channels and suitable acid properties is widely applied in theselective hydrocracking of long-chain alkanes to produce middle distillate. In this work, the tandem catalystswith two kinds of modified ZSM-22 were employed in series to optimize the distribution of theproduct in the hydrotreatment of n-C16 to produce jet fuel. The yield of linear alkanes with high carbonnumbers was enhanced over the upstream catalyst bed of Pt/L-HZSM-22 with shielded external acid siteswhile the isomerization with less further cracking occurred over the downstream catalyst bed of Pt/Me-HZSM-22 with introduced mesopores. The tandem catalysts can combine the ability of Pt/L-HZSM-22 toproduce heavy n-alkanes and the stronger isomerization performance of Pt/Me-HZSM-22. The highestyield of jet fuel (23 wt.%) can be obtained over the tandem catalysts instead of any individual catalyst. The strategy of the tandem zeolite has been initially verified and proposed to broaden the investigationperspectives of the oil refinery.
Precursor effect on catalytic properties of Mo-based catalyst for sulfur-resistant methanation
Haiyang Wang,Xinbin Ma,Zhenhua Li,Baowei Wang,Shaodong Qin,Shouli Sun,Qi Sun 한국화학공학회 2014 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.31 No.12
The catalytic activity of Mo-based catalysts prepared from (NH4)6Mo7O24 and (NH4)2MoS4 was com-pared in the sulfur resistant methanation process. The catalyst using oxide precursor had relatively higher activity thanthe catalyst using sulfide precursor, and the presulfidation procedure almost had no effect on the catalytic performanceof the catalyst using oxide precursor. In view of the characterization results, it could be supposed that the amorphousMoS2 was more active for sulfur-resistant methanation than the crystalline MoS2. The molybdenum sulfides and oxideswith lower valence states (Mo4+, Mo5+) could be responsible for the catalytic activity and make a possible contributionto the carbon monoxide methanation in the reaction condition.

The activities of Mo-based and Co-containing Mo-based catalysts for sulfur-resistant methanation in the presence and the absence of water are compared. When water was added to the Mo-based catalyst, its methanation activity decreased and the activity could not be recovered even after the water was removed from the system. However, for the Co-containing Mo-based catalysts, the formation of Co9S8 improved not only the methanation activity of the catalyst as active sites but also the stability of the catalyst especially in water-containing hydrogenation. The deactivation of the Mo-based catalyst in the presence of water is mainly due to reduction of the external acid sites and fewer molybdenum sulfide (MoS2) stacks. The addition of Co protects the active MoS2 phase, thereby preventing the deactivation of the catalyst in the presence of water.
Consensus Tracking for Teleoperating Cyber-physical System
Lingmin Zhang,Jing Yan,Xian Yang,Xiao-yuan Luo,Fuxiao Tan,Xinbin Li 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2018 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.16 No.3
In this paper, we investigate the consensus tracking problem for teleoperating cyber-physical system (TCPS) under time-varying delay and actuator saturation constraints. Due to the introduction of communication network, variable propagation time delays are considered in cyber element. In addition, actuator saturation problem is investigated in physical element, which is caused by the physical restrictions on robots. Then, a novel distributed consensus tracking controller is proposed in the presence of time-varying delay and actuator saturation. Meanwhile, sufficient conditions are provided to show that the consensus tracking controller can stabilize the master-slave TCPS. Finally, simulations and experiments are performed to validate our proposed results. It is shown that the consensus controllers can guarantee the asymptotic stability of single-master-multi-slave TCPS.
