MILITARY Application through Innovative Case Study of FinTech Company

Purpose: This study aims to explore a new market called fintech, a combination of finance and technology; analyze Toss Corporation s innovation strategy, which secured high innovation performance and market share; and present ideas that can be applied to the military based on a simple remittance technology. Method: To analyze Toss s management strategy, we examined its profit-making model that helped maintain a competitive advantage and analyzed the market. In addition, the new innovative technologies for the promo-tion of fintech enterprises and security of the remittance technology were analyzed, along with applicable im-provements. Results: Toss maximized user convenience with its innovative “remittance technology” and achieved low-cost, high-efficiency promotion through Social Network Services. It has also proven to be a very safe system through its innovative security features that can also be applied to military organizations. On the system side, a user-centered security regulation and system construction method that combines security enhancement and conven-ience through the need for a more convenient working environment, the applicability of bio-certification systems, and security accountability were proposed. Conclusion: The analysis of Toss s innovation strategy shows that in order to succeed, a company must either explore new markets through idea development and innovation or provide customized services in a fully special-ized user-friendly manner. The military also needs to take immediate and flexible action, such as continuing to find ways to reduce inefficiency due to various security regulations and corresponding materials through such case studies.
Non-invasive prediction of forthcoming cirrhosis-related complications.

<P>In patients with chronic liver diseases, identification of significant liver fibrosis and cirrhosis is essential for determining treatment strategies, assessing therapeutic response, and stratifying long-term prognosis. Although liver biopsy remains the reference standard for evaluating the extent of liver fibrosis in patients with chronic liver diseases, several non-invasive methods have been developed as alternatives to liver biopsies. Some of these non-invasive methods have demonstrated clinical accuracy for diagnosing significant fibrosis or cirrhosis in many cross-sectional studies with the histological fibrosis stage as a reference standard. However, non-invasive methods cannot be fully validated through cross-sectional studies since liver biopsy is not a perfect surrogate endpoint marker. Accordingly, recent studies have focused on assessing the performance of non-invasive methods through long-term, longitudinal, follow-up studies with solid clinical endpoints related to advanced stages of liver fibrosis and cirrhosis. As a result, current view is that these alternative methods can independently predict future cirrhosis-related complications, such as hepatic decompensation, liver failure, hepatocellular carcinoma, or liver-related death. The clinical role of non-invasive models seems to be shifting from a simple tool for predicting the extent of fibrosis to a surveillance tool for predicting future liver-related events. In this article, we will summarize recent longitudinal studies of non-invasive methods for predicting forthcoming complications related to liver cirrhosis and discuss the clinical value of currently available non-invasive methods based on evidence from the literature.</P>
