Online Cutting Temperature Measurement System Based Thermocouple
Wang zhengyu,Yu xiaoyang,Li guanghui,Tan guangyu 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of Control and Automation Vol.7 No.10
In order to measure cutter temperature, the on-line thermocouple temperature measurement system was proposed. In this system, temperature sensing element thermocouple was welded in the flank face close to the cutting edge with double bare wires welding way. With this method, this system has advantages of a single point temperature measurement and no effect on cutter temperature distribution. For a higher sampling rate, two AD were used to sample alternately; and for the convenient signal transmission when the cutter is rotating at high speed, wireless transmission was adopted to transmit thermocouple output signal and cold side temperature signal to the host computer. After temperature compensation to the cold side, the compensated temperature will be real-time displayed, stored and played back. System measurement range is 0 ~ 1300 ° C, and the measurement uncertainty is 0.58%. For 8000rpm rotational speed of XH714D machine, experimental results show that the system can measure cutter temperature online, and has advantages of low cost and great practicability.
Beamforming and Power Splitting Designs for AN-Aided Secure Multi-User MIMO SWIPT Systems
Zhengyu Zhu,Zheng Chu,Ning Wang,Sai Huang,Zhongyong Wang,Inkyu Lee IEEE 2017 IEEE transactions on information forensics and sec Vol.12 No.12

In this paper, an energy harvesting scheme for a multi-user multiple-input-multiple-output secrecy channel with artificial noise (AN) transmission is investigated. Joint optimization of the transmit beamforming matrix, the AN covariance matrix, and the power splitting ratio is conducted to minimize the transmit power under the target secrecy rate, the total transmit power, and the harvested energy constraints. The original problem is shown to be non-convex, which is tackled by a two-layer decomposition approach. The inner layer problem is solved through semi-definite relaxation, and the outer problem, on the other hand, is shown to be a single-variable optimization that can be solved by 1-D line search. To reduce computational complexity, a sequential parametric convex approximation method is proposed to find a near-optimal solution. This paper is then extended to the imperfect channel state information case with norm-bounded channel errors. Furthermore, tightness of the relaxation for the proposed schemes is validated by showing that the optimal solution of the relaxed problem is rank-one. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed SPCA method achieves the same performance as the scheme based on 1-D but with much lower complexity.

This paper proposes a methodological scheme for the photovoltaic (PV) simulator design. With the advantages of a digital controller system, linear interpolation is proposed for precise fitting with higher computational efficiency. A novel control strategy that directly tackles two different duty cycles is proposed and implemented to achieve a full-range operation including short circuit (SC) and open circuit (OC) conditions. Systematic design procedures for both hardware and algorithm are explained, and a prototype is built. Experimental results confirm an accurate steady state performance under different load conditions, including SC and OC. This low power apparatus can be adopted for PV education and research with a limited budget.
Effects of solvent properties on cationic dyeing process of acrylic yarn
Zhengyu Zhang,Chunling Zheng,Ailing Yuan,Haibo Wang,Ling Zhu,Hong Xu 한국화학공학회 2014 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.31 No.4
Cationic dye is a special dye for acrylics, but it is very difficult in dyeing through the core. In practice, the price of a special leveling agent for acrylic fiber is high, and uniform staining is poor. By mixing a number of organicsolvents in the dye bath, we can improve the structure of fibers and their deep-dyeing. We used n-propanol, isopropanoland benzyl alcohol as organic solvents, by adjusting the pH value and the appropriate temperature, and with specialdepth and leveling agent for dyeing soaping fastness contrast, to find economically viable process conditions.

Cellulose microcrystalline (CMC), a linear polysaccharide with glucosidic bond, was successfully extracted frombamboo powder and modified by aluminate coupling agent (ACA) to prepare ACA-CMC. The chemical structure of asdesignedACA-CMC was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectra. ACACMC,in association with ammonium polyphosphate (APP), was introduced into epoxy resin (EP) by casting process toobtain flame-resistant composites. The fire performance evaluation indicated that the presence of 10 phr APP and 5 phrACA-CMC in EP achieved the maximal LOI value of 29.0 %, passed the UL-94 V-0 rating, and significantly decreased thepeak heat release rate from 1055 kW·m-2 of neat EP to 294 kW·m-2. The introduction of ACA-CMC could also improve themechanical properties of EP composites due to the strengthening effect of CMC and better interfacial compatibility aftermodification with ACA. Moreover, the relative mechanisms were also proposed.
Outage Constrained Robust Beamforming for Secure Broadcasting Systems With Energy Harvesting
Zhu, Zhengyu,Chu, Zheng,Wang, Zhongyong,Lee, Inkyu IEEE 2016 IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS Vol.15 No.11

In this paper, we investigate simultaneous wireless information and power transfer systems for multiuser multiple-input single-output secure broadcasting channels. Considering imperfect channel state information, we introduce a robust secure beamforming design, where the transmit power is minimized subject to the secrecy rate outage probability constraint for legitimate users and the harvested energy outage probability constraint for energy harvesting receivers. The original problem is non-convex due to the presence of the probabilistic constraints. With the aid of Bernstein-type inequalities, we transform the outage constraints into the deterministic forms. Based on a successive convex approximation (SCA) method, we propose a low-complexity approach, which reformulates the original problem as a second-order cone programming problem. Also, we prove the convergence of the SCA-based iterative algorithm. Simulation shows that the proposed scheme outperforms the conventional method with lower complexity.

Four hundred and forty 1-day-old Arbor Acre broilers were fed commercial starter diets with 0, 250, 750 and 2,250 mg/kg of an alpha-amylase preparation from 1 to 21 days of age to investigate the effects of an exogenous enzyme on growth performance, activities of digestive enzymes in the pancreas and anterior intestinal contents and pancreatic amylase mRNA expression. Body weight gain (BWG) and average daily gain (ADG) increased linearly (p<0.01) with increasing levels of supplementary amylase but feed conversion ratio (FCR) was not affected. There was a negative quadratic change of protease and amylase in the small intestinal contents with the increase of supplementary amylase level. The activity of intestinal trypsin was also increased (p<0.05). Lipase was unaffected by amylase supplementation (p>0.05). The pancreatic protease, trypsin, and lipase were not affected by exogenous amylase levels. Consistent with the tendency for a linear depression of amylase activity, pancreatic ${\alpha}$-amylase mRNA was down-regulated by dietary amylase supplementation. The present study suggested that oral administration of exogenous amylase affected activities of intestinal enzymes and the production of pancreatic digestive enzymes in a dose-dependent manner.
Secure Beamforming Designs for Secrecy MIMO SWIPT Systems
Zhu, Zhengyu,Chu, Zheng,Zhou, Fuhui,Niu, Hehao,Wang, Zhongyong,Lee, Inkyu IEEE 2018 IEEE wireless communications letters Vol.7 No.3

In this letter, secure beamforming designs are investigated in a multiple-input multiple-output secrecy channels with simultaneous wireless information and power transfer. In order to achieve fairness among different multiple energy harvesting receivers, the minimum harvested energy is maximized under the secrecy rate requirements. In particular, in order to reduce the computational complexity of the semidefinite programming problem, a successive convex approximation (SCA) iterative algorithm is proposed in the perfect channel state information (CSI) case to obtain a near-optimal rank-one solution. Moreover, the original problem is extended to the imperfect CSI case by incorporating a norm-bounded error model, where an SCA-based iterative algorithm is also proposed. Simulation results reveal that the SCA-based iterative algorithm achieves the same performance as the semidefinite relaxation method with reduced complexity.
