        Synthesis of polyethylenimine-modified magnetic hydrogel nanocomposite absorbents for heavy metals removal

        Polyethylenimine(PEI)-modified magnetic hydrogel nanocomposite absorbents (PEI-mHNAs) were fabricated based on poly(acrylamide-co-acrylic acid) and PEI-modified magnetic nanoparticles by radical copolymerization. FTIR and XRD results preliminarily confirmed the target structure of PEI-mHNAs without destroying the structure of magnetic nanoparticles during modification and radical copolymerization. PEI-mHNAs with many rough porous and interstitial structure had high adsorption capacity of Cu(II) (217mg/g), Cd(II) (232mg/g) and Pb(II) (459mg/g). PEI-mHNAs had the best absorption capacity for heavy metal ions in the synthesis condition of acrylic acid/acrylamide mass ratio of 60 : 40, 0.8% initiator, AA neutralization degree of 70%, 0.75% crosslinker, and 15% PEImodified magnetic nanoparticles. Moreover, PEI-mHNAs had good magnetic responsiveness, high thermal stability and reusability, which make it a potential application in removing heavy metal ions from the contaminated wastewater.

        Polyaniline-modified graphitic carbon nitride as electrode materials for high-performance supercapacitors

        Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) has attracted extensive attention in energy storage due to its suitable and tunable bandgap, high chemical/thermal stability, earth abundance and environmental friendliness. However, its conductivity should be improved to work as the electrode materials in supercapacitors. In this report, we have prepared a two-dimensional composite (CN-PANI) based on g-C3N4 and polyaniline (PANI) by in-situ polymerization, which can be efficiently applied as electrode material for supercapacitors. The introduction of PANI can increase the conductivity of the electrode, and the porous structure of g-C3N4 can provide enough channels for the transport of electrolyte ions and improve the electrode stability. As a result, the obtained CN-PANI demonstrates excellent specific capacitance (234.0 F g−1 at 5 mV/s), good rate performance and high cycling stability (86.2% after 10,000 cycles at 50 mV/s), showing great potential for high-rate supercapacitors.

        An Interactive Strategy of Grid and Electric Vehicles Based on Master‑Slaves Game Model

        In order to avoid the adverse efects of the grid caused by disorder large-scale electric vehicles and improve supporting function of energy storage battery on the power grid, interaction model of electric vehicles (EVs) and the power grid is constructed according to a master-slave game method. Then, the utility functions of each participant are established, and the dynamic constraints of the batteries for EVs are established considering the travel demand of users. Then, based on the YALMIP/CPLEX solver, the optimal response strategy of the EVs can be obtained, and the genetic algorithm is used to solve the Nash equilibrium solution of the master-slaves game model. Moreover, the Monte Carlo method is employed to simulate the user travel data and the basic parameters of EVs in a certain area. Based on these data, the optimal time-of-use price in this area is ofered, and the optimal response strategy of EVs under this price is analyzed. Finally, the study of the case show that the proposed game model can make the strategies of both the EVs and the grid, which can restrict the load fuctuation of the grid and improve the beneft of EVs without afecting their travel.
