COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREMS IN INTUITIONISTIC FUZZY METRIC SPACES
Turkoglu, D.,Alaca, C.,Cho, Y.J.,Yildiz, C. 한국전산응용수학회 2006 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.22 No.1
The purpose of this paper, using the idea of intuitionistic fuzzy set due to Atanassov [2], we define the notion of intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces (see, [1]) due to Kramosil and Michalek [17] and Jungck's common fixed point theorem ([11]) is generalized to intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces. Further, we first formulate the definition of weakly commuting and R-weakly commuting mappings in intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces and prove the intuitionistic fuzzy version of Pant's theorem ([21]).

Antimony triselenide (Sb2Se3) is one of the most promising absorber material choices among the inorganic semiconductors that has attracted much attention today. However, highest recorded efciencies for Sb2Se3 solar cells are still lower than ideal. Exploring antimony selenosulfde (Sb2(SxSe1−x)3) to increase device performance is one option because some features of alloyed Sb2(SxSe1−x)3 depend on composition such as bandgap and band position. In this study, two-step process was used to grow Sb2(SxSe1−x)3 thin flms. In the frst stage, Sb2Se3 thin flms were deposited on soda lime glass substrates using direct current magnetron sputtering technique. In the second stage, Sb2Se3 thin flms were exposed to sulfurization process in a quartz ampoule to obtain Sb2(SxSe1−x)3 thin flms. Characterization results showed that morphological, optical, and structural properties of Sb2(SxSe1−x)3 thin flms grown by presented method were highly dependent on amount of sulfur in the flms. By the adjustment of the S/S+Se atomic ratio, Sb2(SxSe1−x)3 absorber materials with suitable bandgap, favorable orientation and compact morphology can be obtained for photovoltaic applications.
Effects of Care Burdens of Caregivers of Cancer Patients on their Quality of Life
Turkoglu, Nihan,Kilic, Dilek Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2012 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.13 No.8
In this study, the aim was to examine the effects of caring burdens of family caregivers of cancer patients on their quality of life in the east of Turkey. Data were collected at the Chemotherapy unit of Yakutiye Research Hospital of Ataturk University. Participants were 18 years old and older. The sample included 190 family caregivers who were living in the same flats with the patients during caregiving. Data were collected using a questionnaire that included socio-demographic questions for family caregivers and the Burden Interview, and the Caregiver Quality of Life Index-Cancer (CQOLC) Scale. SPSS version 14.0 was used to analyse the data. Descriptive statistics were computed for demographic variables of family caregivers. Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between the care burden and quality of life, linear logistic regression analysis was applied to determine the effect care burdens have on the quality of life, and logistic regression analysis was employed to determine the effect descriptive characteristics and care-related properties have on the quality of life. The score mean of the burden interview of caregivers was $36.6{\pm}11.2$; and their score mean of CQOLC was $81.4{\pm}17.3$. This study concluded that there was a negative relationship between caring burdens and the quality of life (p<0.001); descriptive characteristics, caring-related properties, and caring burden variables were all significant predictors of the quality of life. It is recommended that caregivers are given support by being offered training about providing care.

Atypical Presentation of Orbital Pseudotumor with Visual Loss as an Initial Manifestation
Recai Turkoglu,Naci Balak 대한신경과학회 2011 Journal of Clinical Neurology Vol.7 No.1
Background:An orbital pseudotumor typically presents with periorbital pain, cranial nerve palsies and proptosis. Although visual deterioration is not unexpected in this pathology, its presentation solely with visual loss is unusual. Case Report:In this short report, we summarize a case of orbital pseudotumor which presented solely with a decrease in visual acuity, and discuss the clinical and radiological findings. This part can be moved to the conclusion part. However, It is also good in this location. Conclusions:In the early clinical period, an orbital pseudotumor may manifest itself solely by visual loss. It should therefore be included in the differential diagnosis of visual pathologies-even in the absence of orbital pain and symptoms related to ocular movements.

Altun, Ishak,Turkoglu, Duran Korean Mathematical Society 2008 대한수학회논문집 Vol.23 No.1
In this paper, we give some fixed point theorems on fuzzy metric spaces with an implicit relation. Our results extend and generalize some fixed point theorems on complete fuzzy metric spaces by using a new technique.

An increasing number of control techniques are introduced to HIV infection problem to explore the options of helping clinical testing, optimizing drug treatments and to study the drug resistance. In such cases, complete/accurate knowledge of the HIV model and/or parameters is critical not only to monitor the dynamics of the system, but also to adjust the therapy accordingly. In those studies, existence of any type of unknown parameters imposes severe set-backs and becomes problematic for the treatment of the patients. In this work, we develop a real-time nonlinear receding horizon control approach to aid such scenarios and to estimate unknown constant/time-varying parameters of nonlinear HIV system models. For this purpose, the estimation procedure is reduced to a series of finite-time optimization problem which can be solved by backwards sweep Riccati method in real time without employing any iterative techniques. The simulation results demonstrate that proposed algorithm is able to estimate, effectively, unknown constant/time-varying parameters of HIV/AIDS model with disturbance and provide a unique, adaptive solution to an important open problem.
