Recently, many researchers about efficient composite section by steel and concrete are performed. The new type of girder, CFTA(Concrete Filled and Tied Steel Tubular Arch), is about increasing aesthetic, economic efficiency, using strong, ductile, energy absorbing CFT(Concrete Filled Steel Tubular) structural form with arch and external prestressing. Linear behavior and dynamic behavior of CFTA girder was analyzed for stability assessment. Structure modeling, linear elastic and collision was performed by ABAQUS/CAE. The external prestressing gave compressed force to the girder, resulting increased tensional destruction resistance and sufficient safety margin at dynamic behavior and collision.
