This study is about the development of impact absorber system for Lower Leg Pedestrian impact in Euro NCAP European New Car Assessment Programme(Euro NCAP) announced new protocol of Pedestrian protection Version 5.0 including the The 66mm inside bumper corner spacing requirement has been removed and the impact points can be positioned out of the impact zone where there are structures outboard of the bumper corners. There may be a lack of foam padding over the bumper beam or little support go to the lower part of the legform in the area of the bumper corners. This study is about the optimized energy absorber systems by Plastic insert EPP foam in the bumper corners.

As Euro NCAP implemented grid method test of pedestrian protection from 2013, Correlation between test and simulation is a matter which is increasingly important in the vehicle safety. Because pedestrian grid validation need about 150 impact point in a vehicle and it is difficult that all of impact points have test performances. This study is about bonnet damper made of rubber to improve correlation accuracy. In Vehicle CAE filed, damper is used to absorb impact energy or prevent slam with several modeling method of simulation programs depend on characteristic. Our study about material characteristics of bonnet damper will help to understand how much influence on pedestrian injury and what is best way to represent damper property in pedestrian head crash impact with LS-DYNA simulation program.

The abroad advance of a domestic car increased and A domestic car export is increasing in America market. The sale of the car have been commanded greatly owing to J.D. Power and Associates conducted independent surveys of customer satisfaction A domestic car is true satisfying result in IQS. A Vibration of Doortrim was increased by the speaker compared with former time. The relation is determined with the Door module of the car to the reason. The car to be produced recently is closed completely the outside pannel with the inside pannel of the door because of Sealed module preventing of rainwater and improving of aucoustic. furtermore, An Ansorption pad for door trim exised between insied and outsied was unnecessary. but, by reason of terrivle vibration of the door speaker, We analyzed a vibration problem which brings Sealed Module that has the problem common We analyzed whether the trim-pad covered the whole inside of the doortrim gave the vibration any influence.

Pedestrian Protection test method was first developed by the EEVC Working Group 10 and then further refined by EEVC Working Group 17. The test procedures currently used in Euro NCAP pedestrian evaluations are based on the test method of EEVC Working Group 17. Pedestrian protection test have been conducted by EuroCANP and there’s been any amount of research into pedestrian protection. But Car manufactures have tended to put less work into considering the upper legform to bonnet leading edge test than for the lower legform or head form test. The purpose of this study is to understand about principle of sum force and three moment calculation in upper legform and to suggest the absorbing intrusion of vehicle for Pedestrian protection using the CAE simulation and Test.

The number of road traffic fatalities is decreasing over the last 10 years in Korea. But according to an Korea road traffic authority’s report, Pedestrians accident rate of Korea is the highest among OECD countries and more than 2000 pedestrians are killed every year in a road accident. For the reason, car manufactures are trying to protect pedestrian by a lot of tests or numerical simulation studies. As the vehicle sale market becomes more competitive, pedestrian protection become more important. This study examines the pedestrian injuries during impact with the front of cars by numerical simulation and focused human body model behavior and injury risk. Influence of vehicle and pedestrian type are studied through the use of Mini, Small, SUV car with 6YO, 5<SUP>th</SUP> percentile, 50<SUP>th</SUP> percentile, 50<SUP>th</SUP> percentile FE model
