        It is of great significance to reform the patterns of library resource construction and services in MOOC, for example, it can help to fulfill the individual needs of learners, and achieve sustainable development for the library. Firstly, the author analyzes the characteristics of MOOC; secondly, discusses the characteristics of information construction of library; and then designs a knowledge discovery model of the library information resources construction in MOOC; finally proves that it could provide favorable support for the improvement of library resource construction and services to discover knowledge from library data base according to the result of case study.

      • Ternary Phase Diagram-Facilitated Rapid Screening of Double Perovskites As Electrocatalysts for the Oxygen Evolution Reaction

        <P>The development of cost-effective, non-noble metal electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is of paramount importance for sustainable technologies. Efficient screening strategies for electrocatalysts can greatly increase the commercialization speed of these advanced technologies. Here, ternary phase diagrams with large-scale tuning and designated-scale tuning strategies are applied for the first time to provide a new method for screening perovskite oxide-based electrocatalysts for OERs. Specifically, the family of double perovskites (Sr<SUB>2</SUB>Fe<SUB>1.5-<I>x</I>-<I>y</I></SUB>Co<SUB><I>x</I></SUB>Ni<SUB><I>y</I></SUB>Mo<SUB>0.5</SUB>O<SUB>6−δ</SUB>, 0 ≤ <I>x</I>, <I>y</I> ≤ 1.5) was utilized to understand the role of transition metals in perovskite oxides. Ternary phase diagrams can facilitate a rapid screening process, provide a straightforward relationship between phase structures and catalytic activities, and help to confirm the effects of various combinations of transition metals on the OER activity. The Fe-Co system (Sr<SUB>2</SUB>Fe<SUB>1.5-<I>x</I></SUB>Co<SUB><I>x</I></SUB>Mo<SUB>0.5</SUB>O<SUB>6−δ</SUB>) improves the catalytic activities, as demonstrated by the reduced Tafel slope and enhanced stability, while the Fe-Ni system (Sr<SUB>2</SUB>Fe<SUB>1.5-<I>y</I></SUB>Ni<SUB><I>y</I></SUB>Mo<SUB>0.5</SUB>O<SUB>6−δ</SUB>) improves the surface kinetic properties of the OER, as demonstrated by its reduced overpotential. Significantly, the Co, Ni, and Fe ternary phase systems can serve as the synergistic coactive sites (Sr<SUB>2</SUB>Fe<SUB>1.5-<I>x</I>-<I>y</I></SUB>Co<SUB><I>x</I></SUB>Ni<SUB><I>y</I></SUB>Mo<SUB>0.5</SUB>O<SUB>6−δ</SUB>) to catalyze the OER, resulting in an improved overall OER performance.       • Cytotoxicity and Gene Expression in Sarcoma 180 Cells in Response to Spiky Magnetoplasmonic Supraparticles

        <P>Multifunctional nanoparticles (NPs) have been designed for a variety of cell imaging and therapeutic applications, and the study of their cellular interactions is crucial to the development of more efficient biomedical applications. Among current nanomaterials, concave core–shell NPs with complex angled geometries are attractive owing to their unique shape-dependent optical and physical properties as well as different tendency for cell interaction. In this study, we investigated the morphology effect of spiky gold-coated iron oxide supraparticles (Fe<SUB>3</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB>@Au SPs) on cytotoxicity and global gene expression in sarcoma 180 cells. Cells treated for 7 days with spiky supraparticles (SPs) at concentrations up to 50 μg/mL showed >90% viability, indicating that these NPs were nontoxic. To shed light on the differences in cytotoxicity, we monitored the expression of 33 315 genes using microarray analysis of SP-treated cells. The 171 up-regulated genes and 181 down-regulated genes in spiky SP-treated cells included <I>Il1b</I>, <I>Spp1</I>, <I>Il18</I>, <I>Rbp4</I>, and <I>Il11ra1</I>, where these genes are mainly involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis.       • Boosting the oxygen evolution reaction activity of a perovskite through introducing multi-element synergy and building an ordered structure

        <P>If different active sites in a catalyst have optimal binding to different reaction intermediates and short reaction paths among them, they may work cooperatively to enhance the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) activity. Based on this design principle, in this study, we start with a B-site ordered double perovskite Sr2FeMoO6−δ with poor OER activity as the host material to fulfill the requirement of a short pathway, and then, replace Mo with Ni and Fe with Co to optimize the synergistic interplay of the multi-active sites. Replacing Mo with Ni indeed dramatically enhances the OER activity and structural/operating stability. Further improvement in OER performance is realized by partial substitution of Fe with Co, leading to the development of a material with the nominal composition of Sr2Fe0.8Co0.2Mo0.65Ni0.35O6−δ, which outperforms the noble metal oxide IrO2 and is better than most of the electrocatalysts developed based on a single descriptor, such as Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3−δ (eg occupancy close to unity), PrBaCo2O5+δ (O 2p-band center relative to the Fermi level), and La0.5Sr0.5CoO3−δ (charge-transfer energy) in many aspects. As a universal method, combined structural and compositional tuning to create a cooperative effect among different active sites for intermediate adsorption and reaction in an ordered structure may provide a new way for the design of superior electrocatalysts for various applications.</P>

        Mxene structure: A key parameter in corrosion barrier performance of organic coatings

        In this research, the effects of fresh and oxidized MXene on the surface, adhesion, and corrosion-resistantproperties of waterborne epoxy coatings are considered. The oxidized MXene is prepared through storageof fresh MXene nanosheets in an open vial for 1 month. The results confirm that the waterborne epoxycoating loaded with silane functionalized fresh MXene nanosheets (epoxy/F-MXene) has significantlyhigher barrier performance and anti-corrosion behavior than the sample modified with silane functionalizedoxidized MXene nanosheets (epoxy/F-O-MXene). Indeed, the F-MXene nanosheets (with defectfreeand large two dimensional morphology) are able to effectively inhibit the path of corrosive mediaas well as increment the epoxy matrix compactness compared to the F-O-MXene (with broken nanosheetmorphology composed of TiO2 nanoparticles) due to rapid oxidation of the MXene nanosheets in theenvironment. Besides, the epoxy/F-MXene nanocomposite coating has slightly higher water contact angleand adhesion strength to the metallic substrate compared to the epoxy/F-O-MXene. The results of thisresearch clearly reveal the importance of preventing MXene oxidation before application as nanofillerin the polymer coatings.

        Bayesian Hybrid State Estimation for Unequal-length Batch Processes with Incomplete Observations

        This paper investigates state estimation problem for batch processes with unequal-length batches as wellas incomplete observations. A Bayesian hybrid state estimation method is proposed based on two dimensional (2D)correlations of states. The states of equal-length segment of time are estimated according to both within-a-batchand batch-to-batch correlations, and the states of unequal-length segment are obtained according to the correlationswithin the batch. In this way, the batch process states can be achieved in both equal-length and unequal-lengthsituations, of which the latter one is a more general case. In order to approximate state distribution of nonlinearsystem and to deal with the problem of incomplete observations, particle filter (PF) is employed. The proposedmethod shows its superiority with a nonlinear system and a gas-phase reaction process. Compared to a typicalexisting method, the proposed method provides better estimation accuracy in the situation of equal-length batches,also it shows less sensitivity to incomplete observations.

        A Study on the Legal Challenges and Countermeasures to the Medical AI in China

        The application of AI in medical field, brings both hope and panic to people. On one hand, it offers more precise diagnosis, more personalized treatment and less unnecessary diagnosis, treatment and health care. On the other hand, it also brings legal challenges to ascertain responsibility to medical misdiagnosis and medical accidents. Different ways to deal with the problems may lead to different effects because solutions are likely to accelerate or hinder the introduction of new technologies. At present, since an applicable quality standard evaluation system for medical AI has not established, it is unable to effectively verify and evaluate medical AI according to the data and algorithm, and the legal framework for the protection and utilization of medical data has not been improved, as a result of which, China is unable to issue relevant laws and regulations to effectively supervise medical AI. China should put forward relevant laws and regulations as soon as possible, establish proper technical standards and legal liability system so as to balance the interests and responsibilities of patients, medical personnel, medical institutions, medical AI designers and producers. Based on the comprehensive measure on the risks and benefits of medical AI, the negligence liability of all parties should be determined combined with relationship among all parties. This paper intends to analyze the situation, problems and challenges of the relevant legal system of AI medical in China by analyzing literature, interviews and statistics.

        대황고(大黃膏)의 메티실린 내성 황색 포도상구균에 대한 항균활성

        Objectives : Infectious diseases by Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) are a growing problem worldwide. Characteristic of MRSA is endlessly mutation to resist antibiotics. Daehwanggo (DHG) is one of the oriental medicine prescriptions contained in Principles and Practice of Eastern Medicine. Daehwanggo was mainly used for external preparation from old times. The purpose of this study is to confirm possibility as supplementary drug of DHG about antibiotics through observation of synergy effect between DHG and commercial antibiotics and to observe restriction on growth of MRSA on any pathway through observation of mechanism. Methods : The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of DHG against MRSA is 500 ~ 2000 ㎍/㎖ by broth dilution method. In the checkerboard method, the combinations of DHG with antibiotics has partial synergistic effect or synergy effect and DHG markedly reduced the MICs of the antibiotics oxacillin (OX), gentamicin (GT) against MRSA. In the inhibition of resistance mechanism of DHG against MRSA, the expression of resistance gene and protein about β-lactam antibiotic was reduced. Also, we observed the effect of DHG about cell membrane permeability against MRSA, and confirmed that DHG suppressed growth of strains by increasing cell membrane permeability. Results : Basis on the result, we speculate that DHG increase antibacterial activity of antibiotics against MRSA by changing the structure of cell wall of MRSA. Conclusions : These data suggest that Daehwanggo possesses possibility as supplementary drug about antibiotics against MRSA.

        The changes in the proteolysis activity and the accumulation of free amino acids during chinese traditional dry-cured loins processing

        Twelve pieces of longissimus dorsi were processed into Chinese traditional dry-cured loins. The changes in the proteolylic enzymes activities, myofibrillar proteins degradation, and free amino acids content were investigated during processing. Compared with fresh piece (0 day), the cathepsin B ? L and calpains activities decreased after dry-curing and maintained potential activities values of 23.25 and 15.04% in the final products, respectively. The myosin heavy chain (MHC) and C protein were intensely degraded at the dry-ripened stage; the 50 kDa desmin increased at day 2 and then disappeared at day 11. The total free amino acids content increased from 333.18 mg/100 g in the raw to 1096.54 mg/100 g at the end of the dry-ripening. This work provided a mechanism for the accumulation of free amino acids and predicted the proteolysis extent of myofibrillar proteins by monitoring the changes of three marker proteins (MHC, C protein and 50 kDa desmin) during Chinese traditional dry-cured loins processing.
