Effects of gear modifications on the dynamic characteristics of wind turbine gearbox considering elastic support of the gearbox

        Shuaishuai Wang,Caichao Zhu,Chaosheng Song,Huachao Liu,Jianjun Tan,Houyi Bai 대한기계학회 2017 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.31 No.3

The reliability and service life of wind turbines are directly influenced by the dynamic performance of the gearbox under the timevarying wind loads. The control of vibration behavior is essential for the achievement of a 20-year service life. We developed a rigidflexible coupled dynamic model for a wind turbine gearbox. The planet carrier, the housing, and the bedplate are modelled as flexibilities while other components are assumed as rigid bodies. The actual three points elastic supporting are considered and a strip based mesh model is used to represent the engagement of the gear pairs. The effects of gear tooth modifications on the dynamics were investigated. Finally, we conducted a dynamic test for the wind turbine gearbox in the wind field. Results showed that the contact characteristics of gear pairs were improved significantly; the peak-to-peak value of transmission error of each gear pair was reduced; the amplitudes of the vibration acceleration and the structural noise of the wind turbine gearbox were lowered after suitable tooth modification.

Population genetic structure and phylogenetic analysis of gray’s pipefish, Halicampus grayi in the South China Sea

        Yingying Wu,Xin Wang,Shuaishuai Liu,Hao Luo,Qiang Lin 한국유전학회 2020 Genes & Genomics Vol.42 No.2

Background The evolution of male pregnancy is the most distinctive characteristic of syngnathids, and they were recognized as flagship species for marine conservation. Genus Halicampus is an important branch of syngnathid fishes that has not received the attention it deserves. Objective To sequence the mitochondrial genome of Halicampus grayi, and investage the genetic structure of its populations. Methods Degenerate primers were designed to amplify the entire mitochondrial genome of H. grayi. The phylogenetic relationship between H. grayi and other syngnathids were conducted using maximum-likelihood method. Population genetic structure of three geographic population of H. grayi were determined using median-joining haplotype network based on COI and Cytb sequences. Results The complete mitochondrial genome of Halicampus grayi was assembled into a 17,059 bp circular sequence, which contains 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNA genes, 22 tRNA genes and 1 D-loop region. The overall base composition of H. grayi is 29.93% A, 29.31% T, 16.23% G and 24.54% C, with a slight A + T rich feature (59.24%). Phylogenetic analysis indicated that H. grayi has a close relationship with Trachyrhamphus serratus. Population genetic analysis revealed a relatively high genetic diversity across different geographic populations of H. grayi, and the results of median-joining haplotype network indicated a lack of structure in populations of H. grayi. Conclusion The mitogenome of H. grayi will provided important information about the origin and evolution issues of syngnathid fishes, and the high-level genetic diversity detected in their populations will provide insight into the gene flow pattern of marine fishes.

Highly Sensitive Luminescence Assessment of Bile Acid Using a Balofloxacin-Europium(III) Probe in Micellar Medium

        Cai, Huan,Zhao, Fang,Si, Hailin,Zhang, Shuaishuai,Wang, Chunchun,Qi, Peirong Korean Chemical Society 2012 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.33 No.12

A novel and simple method of luminescence enhancement effect for the determination of trace amounts of bile acid was proposed. The procedure was based on the luminescence intensity of the balofloxacin-europium(III) complex that could be strongly enhanced by bile acid in the presence of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS). Under the optimum conditions, the enhanced luminescence intensity of the system exhibited a good linear relationship with the bile acid concentration in the range $5.0{\times}10^{-9}-7.0{\times}10^{-7}\;mol\;L^{-1}$ with a detection limit of $1.3{\times}10^{-9}\;mol\;L^{-1}$ ($3{\sigma}$). The relative standard deviation (RSD) was 1.7% (n = 11) for $5.0{\times}10^{-8}\;mol\;L^{-1}$ bile acid. The applicability of the method to the determination of bile acid was demonstrated by investigating the effect of potential interferences and by analyzing human serum and urine samples. The possible enhancement mechanism of luminescence intensity in balofloxacin-europium(III)-bile acid-SDBS system was also discussed briefly.

Application of YOLOv5 Neural Network Based on Improved Attention Mechanism in Recognition of Thangka Image Defects

( Yao Fan ),( Yubo Li ),( Yingnan Shi ),( Shuaishuai Wang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2022 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.16 No.1

In response to problems such as insufficient extraction information, low detection accuracy, and frequent misdetection in the field of Thangka image defects, this paper proposes a YOLOv5 prediction algorithm fused with the attention mechanism. Firstly, the Backbone network is used for feature extraction, and the attention mechanism is fused to represent different features, so that the network can fully extract the texture and semantic features of the defect area. The extracted features are then weighted and fused, so as to reduce the loss of information. Next, the weighted fused features are transferred to the Neck network, the semantic features and texture features of different layers are fused by FPN, and the defect target is located more accurately by PAN. In the detection network, the CIOU loss function is used to replace the GIOU loss function to locate the image defect area quickly and accurately, generate the bounding box, and predict the defect category. The results show that compared with the original network, YOLOv5-SE and YOLOv5-CBAMachieve an improvement of 8.95% and 12.87% in detection accuracy respectively. The improved networks can identify the location and category of defects more accurately, and greatly improve the accuracy of defect detection of Thangka images.

Assessment of the relative tectonic activity of the Longxian–Baoji Fault Zone in the northeastern Tibetan Plateau based on geomorphic indices

        Qi Huang,Xiaohu Zhou,Jiyuan You,Shuaishuai Xu,Lushan Liu,Yang Wang 한국지질과학협의회 2023 Geosciences Journal Vol.27 No.6

Since the Late Cenozoic, tectonic deformation has been intense in the Longxian–Baoji Fault Zone (LBFZ), which is at the intersection of the southwest margin of the Ordos Block, the northeast margin of the Tibet Plateau, and the Qinling Orogenic Belt. To evaluate the relative tectonic activity within the LBFZ and discuss the influence of the northeastward expansion of the Tibetan Plateau on the geomorphological evolution of the LBFZ, we extracted data of the Qianhe, Hengshuihe, and Jinlinghe River Basins from the ASTER GDEM and analyzed the geomorphic indices, including the hypsometric integral (HI), standardized stream length-gradient index (SL/K) and Hack profile, elongation ratio (Re), the drainage basin asymmetry factor (AF) and valley floor width-to-height ratio (VF). Through geomorphic indices and field investigations, we found that the LBFZ has experienced relatively high tectonic activity. Combined with the index of relative active tectonics (IAT), we compared the tectonic activity strengths of the four major faults in the study area. Among them, the tectonic activities of the Longxian-Qishan Fault (LQF) and the Taoyuan-Guichuansi Fault (TGF) are the highest. The morphology and AF values of the drainage basin of the southwest side of the study area indicate the influence of northwest-southeast compressive stress. The northeastward expansion of the Tibetan Plateau affected the LBFZ region, and the stress brought about by it controlled the tectonic deformation in the region and sculpted the modern landscape. This study is of great significance for understanding the impact of the northeastward expansion of the Tibetan Plateau on the geomorphological evolution of the LBFZ.
