Investigating Undoped HfO2 as Ferroelectric Oxide in Leaky and Non-Leaky FE–DE Heterostructure

In this paper, we have investigated non-leaky and leaky FE–DE heterostructure with undoped HfO 2 and Zr doped HfO 2 as a ferroelectric material. Use of undoped HfO 2 in place of Zr doped HfO 2 as a ferroelectric material will ease the deposition process and simplify the processing steps, as ferroelectricity in undoped HfO 2 can be obtained without introduction of dopant elements. This replacement of ferroelectric oxide enhances the performance of heterostructure in terms of absolute voltage amplifi cation ( VD > VS ). Undoped HfO 2 provides higher magnitude voltage amplifi cation as compared to Zr doped HfO2 although the range to voltage amplifi cation is reduced.

Data storage and its security have been a distress, since the development of the several computing capabilities. Any potential data mishandling can escalate to leakage or breaching, resultant of this can be decline or impinging of trust, privacy or economical stance of the related cloud delegates. Cloud computing is a new technological trend that enables outsourcing of data into the cloud aimed towards elimination of sneakernet as there is no need for rudimentary storage of data as previously in confined physical storages. During decryption data will be vulnerable for some instant of time, as the plain text can be expose, contrary to homomorphic encryption which promotes privacy of the secured data by allowing some operation to be performed on the encrypted data, The homomorphic encryption is presently available for traditional system, the same procedure is applied to the cloud data and in transit.

In this paper, we have discussed threshold voltage and drain induced barrier lowering in NCFET. Threshold voltage in NCFET is lower as compared to MOSFET which is mainly because of negative equivalent oxide capacitance in NCFET. Further, we have discussed drain induced barrier lowering in NCFET and MOSFET. An increase in drain bias in MOSFET leads to decrease in threshold voltage and an increase in leakage current whereas in NCFET increase in drain bias leads to increase in threshold voltage and decrease in leakage current. We have obtained a positive value of DIBL factor for MOSFET and negative value for NCFET.

Vitamin E (VE) is highly lipophilic in nature with a very low water solubility which degrades rapidly in presence of oxygen, and free-radical mediated oxidative processes. Spray drying of oil-in-water emulsions containing hydrophilic carriers was used to encapsulate lipophilic compounds into powders. The purpose of this study was to prepare microcapsules of VE using different starch derivatives to increase its stability and to disperse it in aqueous environment. Emulsion of VE acetate was prepared using cremophore RH 40 with tween 80 in a homogenizer and then spray dried. The spray process was optimized using a central composite design for two variables to obtain microcapsules with desirable characteristics. Microcapsules containing 2, 4 and 6% w/w of VE acetate were produced. The microcapsules were evaluated for their physical, morphological, in vitro release, solid state characterization such as SEM, FTIR, P-XRD and its in vitro free radical scavenging activity. The results showed that obtained microcapsules are nearly spherical in shape with mean particle size of microcapsules were ranged from 1 to 12 lm. The drug content and encapsulation efficiency (53–63%) was found to be uniform and within acceptable range. Optimized formulations were kept for 3 months stability study and found to be stable.

Horse gram hydrolysate (HGH) with differentdegree of hydrolysis (DH) (20, 25, 35, 40, and 45%) wasprepared from whole horse gram flour using alcalase. Theamino acid composition of HGH showed the presence ofessential amino acids. The alcalase hydrolysis (DHC 20%) increased protein solubility with a notable differencein the pH range of 3–5 (p\0.05). The emulsifyingactivity and stability of HGH improved with increase inpH, especially at DH C 25% (p\0.05). With increase inDH, the foaming properties reduced while the antioxidantand angiotensin I-converting enzyme inhibitory activitiesincreased. Sensory evaluation showed no significant difference(p[0.05) in preference between control soup andsoup mixed with HGH. Thus, these results suggest thepossibility of HGH to be used as an appropriate functionalingredient with different food applications including inmanagement of oxidative stress as well as in controllinghypertension.

The complementary modulus is k' = √1 − k2 (0 < k' < 1). Let ⋋ be a positive integer. The equation K(k') = √K(k),defines a unique real number k(k') (0 < k' < 1) called the singular modulus of K(k). In this paper, we establish certain general formulas for evaluating k(λ), by employing Ramanujan’s modular equation.

The feasibility of laccase production by immobilization of Pleurotus ostreatus 1804 on polyurethane foam (PUF) cubes with respect to media composition was studied in both batch and reactor systems. Enhanced laccase yield was evidenced due to immobilization. A relatively high maximum laccase activity of 312.6 U was observed with immobilized mycelia in shake flasks compared to the maximum laccase activity of free mycelia (272.2 U). It is evident from this study that the culture conditions studied, i.e. biomass level, pH, substrate concentration, yeast extract concentration, $Cu^{2+}$ concentration, and alcohol nature, showed significant influence on the laccase yield. Gel electrophoretic analysis showed the molecular weight of the laccase produced by immobilized P. ostreatus to be 66 kDa. The laccase yield was significantly higher and more rapid in the packed bed reactor than in the shake flask experiments. A maximum laccase yield of 392.9 U was observed within 144 h of the fermentation period with complete glucose depletion.

A highly efficient and environmentally benign protocol has been developed for the first time to produce a wide range of biologically active 5-hydroxyindole derivatives using montmorillonite KSF clay as a reusable solid acid catalyst. The use of recyclable clay makes this procedure quite simple, more convenient and cost-effective.
