Purpose –The purpose of this study was to review and analyze the four major journals of KODISA and all of their published articles of 2014 and to revise and update the existing publication standards and practices in order to improve the overall quality and reputation of these journals. Research design, data, and methodology – This study applied an analytical approach, a case study method, to analyze and examine the published articles and the publication standards and practices of four KODISA journals, JDS (1999), IJIDB (2010), EAJBM (2011), and JAFEB (2014), from their first publication. Results – In 2014, KODISA journals published a total of 171 papers – JDS (122), IJIDB and EAJBM (16 each), and JAFEB (17): 94 articles in general business and 77 articles in economics. Conclusions – KODISA journals continuously revised and updated their publication standards and practices and adopted technological support systems to enable its journals to remain independent and open access in order to ultimately become one of the world’s reputable journals.
Strategies for globalization of journals: Focused on KODISA journal

Development of journals plays the most important role at the phase of scientific society. KODISA has reached the highest phase to grow up and to be the best scientific journal. The members of globalization made cooperation system to do it. In the beginning, they asked scholars to collect theses and to overcome limitation of domestic scientific journals. A lot of scholars at overseas contributes theses to JDS, EAJBM, IJIDB, and JAFEB to register JDS and JAFEB to SCI class journal and to do EAJBM and IJIDB to SCOPUS sooner or later. SSCI registration may be more important to be likely to produce good result considering investigation by JDS, JAFEB, and EAJBM. KODISA shall globalize the journal and make effort to keep the best quality based on transparent management and fair compensation. KODISA shall have organization of working manager on the spot to give monetary compensation enough. ‘333’ policy shall develop KODISA (3.3: academy and editing, 3.3: operation, 3.4: donation to foundation). Not only (society) is separated from journal (foundation) to operate independently. The system has been made to develop in the future. All of KODISA members have joined in the system to develop continuously. Four of direct management journals have been normalized to have no problem, and seven of partner journals at the stage of development require continuous investment. Contribution to the foundation has been suspended until normalization to concentrate on the investment.
A Study on Promotional Plans of Seongnam-Jungang Traditional Market

The study had background and purpose of development of not only Seongnam-Jungang Traditional Market but also shops and investigated promotional plans by managing the association of merchants. The subject was Seongnam-Jungang Traditional Market and Sujeong-ro nearby with local stores alliance in 1.5km radius. The association of merchants of Seongnam-Jungang Traditional Market investigated changes of commercial area and distribution around Seongnam-Jungang Traditional Market about 8 years from occurrence of 2-times fire accidents in 2002 and 2006 to end of 2013 to give ideas on changes of commercial areas of Sujeong-ro development area including Seongnam-Jungang Traditional Market.

본 연구를 통하여, 제약 산업의 현황과 제약 도매상의 특정과 문제점을 도출하였다. 이를 통하여 제약 도매상의 경쟁력 강화 요인을 분석한다. 첫째, 중소도매상의 지원정책 수립차원에서의 노력이 필요하다. 둘째, 관행적 상거래 관습 개선이 필요하다. 셋째, 제약분야 전문유통인 양성을 강화하는 것이다. 넷째, 제약업체의 무분별한 제품 개발을 지양해야 한다. 결론적으로, 유통업적 관점에서 논의하고자 하는 관계로, 이론적인 논의를 가능한 한 지양하고, 실질적으로 실용학문으로서 제약 도매상 실무에 도움이 될 수 있도록 최대한 노력하였다. 그러나 본 연구도 실증적인 연구로서의 한계가 있다. 따라서 추후에도 지속적으로 제약유통구조 개선에 대한 지속적인 논의가 필요하다.
