In the business environment, technological change, information technology and new business practices are increasing. The customer is considered as a valuable asset. So, customer orientation and customer preservation are considered as astrategy for creating competitive advantage. Organizations will be successful only if they satisfy their customers. Therefore, this research aims to achieve a mechanism adapted to new e-commerce methods to investigate the effect ofmarketing mix elements on customer satisfaction with the presence of the mediating variable of electronic customerrelationship management. The present research is an applied study conducted with using the descriptive-correlationalmethod. The sample size is 384 people from all of the customers who referred to the active electronic stores in thetime period of collecting the research data and purchased their products. The tools used in this research were standardmarketing mix questionnaire, customer satisfaction questionnaire, and standard customer relationship managementelectronic questionnaire. The reliability of them by Cronbach’s alpha was 0.82, 0.83 and 0.92, respectively. Confirmatoryfactor analysis method was used for investigating the validity. The data were analyzed by using Pearson correlationand structural equation modeling. The results showed that the marketing mix elements have a positive and significanteffect on customer satisfaction with the presence of intermediary variable of customer relationship management. This can maintain customers, satisfy them, and attract new customers.
Estimation of Cancer Cases Using Capture-Recapture Method in Northwest Iran

Background: Under-ascertainment and over-ascertainment are common phenomena in surveillance and registry systems of health-related events. Capture-recapture is one of the methods which is applied to determine the sensitivity of surveillance or registry systems to recognize cancer cases. This study aimed to estimate the number of cancers using data available both in the Cancer Registry Center of Northwestern Iran and in the Population-based Cancer Registry Center of Iran. Material and Methods: The studied population consisted of all cancerous cases in the northwest of Iran from 2008 to 2010. All data were extracted from two resources and entered into Microsoft Excel software. After removing common and repeat cases the data were statistically analyzed using a capture-recapture studies' specific software "CARE 1.4". Estimations were calculated by Chapman and Petersen methods with the approximate confidence interval of 95%. Results: From 2008 to 2010, the number of all cancer cases was estimated to be 21,652 (CI 95%: 19,863-22,101). Sensitivity rate of all cancer cases was 83.9% and that of Population-based Cancer Registry Center of Iran was 52%. It was 93.1% considering both resources. Conclusion: Using two resources and the capture-recapture method rather than a single resource may be a more reliable method to estimate the number of cancer cases.

Pairwise interaction of drops in shear-thinning inelastic fluids

Inelasticity effects on the migration of a drop and pairwise interaction of drops in a simple shear flow are studied using a finite-difference front-tracking method. The Carreau-Yasuda model is used to adjust the shear-thinning behavior of fluids. Results showed that drop deformation and migration rate of drops in an inelastic system are smaller than those in a Newtonian one. It was revealed that inelasticity has larger effects for the case in which Newtonian drops suspended in a non-Newtonian phase. The time of collision process is shorter for an inelastic system in comparison with the Newtonian one. For two Newtonian drops in an elastic matrix, the results demonstrated that the drops exhibit reversible cross-flow migration at high inelasticity.

Connections play an important role in the response of steel moment resisting frames to seismic loading. Prequalified rigid connections are applicable to I-shaped or box columns. In I-shape beam to concrete-filled tube (CFT) column connections, continuity and doubler plates cannot be added to the column. Various details have been proposed to address this issue, many of which are not constructionally convenient to implement. The aim of this study is to present a simple and suitable detailing for I-shape beam to concrete-filled tube column connections. To that end, six full-scale experimental samples were built and subjected to cyclic quasi-static loading. In the samples, stiffened and un-stiffened channel links were used to connect the beam to the column. In each sample, the stiffeners were installed on a different position on the channel link. The results showed that compared to the connection in which the beam is directly connected to the column, using the stiffened channel link with stiffeners along the beam’s flange increases the strength and ductility of the connection by 12% and 72%, respectively. Considering their desirable performance and easy implementation, these connections can be considered as a suitable detailing for I-shape beam to CFT column connections in seismic regions.

The dynamics of a pressure regulator valve have been studied using the through Bondgraph simulation technique. This valve consists of several elements that can transmit, transform, store, and consume hydraulic energy. The governing equations of the system have been derived from the dynamic model. In solving system equations numerically, various pressure-flow characteristics across the regulator ports and orifices have been taken into consideration. This simulation study identifies some critical parameters that have significant effects on the transient response of the system. The results have been obtained using the MATLAB-SIMULINK environment. The main advantage of the proposed methodology is its ability to model the nonlinear behavior of the hydraulic resistance of system elements as a function of the fluid flow rate.
