Various electronic bulletin board systems (BBS) exist on the Internet. A user has to use two or more BBS. Because his/her interests may not be restricted to only one subject and BBS satisfying hislher interests may not be restricted to only one also. Furthermore, in each BBS, two or more subjects are parallel discussed while the newest contribution is always carried out. Therefore, when a user tries to keep on perusing about a specific subject, it is necessary for the user to remember in which BBS the subject exists and in the past what article of the subject was read. In this paper, we are aiming to construct an electronic bulletin board integrated management system. In this system, a user is able to use two or more BBS just like one BBS. In this paper, we present a framework of the electronic bulletin board integrated management system and implementation of a prototype system.

Aim: To investigate the actual conditions of menstruation and self-care behavior of Japanese women’s university students and use it as basic data for implementing nursing interventions. Method: We conducted a web survey based on a questionnaire for all enrolled students in A women"s University. Using the university"s web system, the survey request text was distributed to all students (5,339 peoples), and responses were obtained voluntarily. At the beginning of the investigation, we asked them to check whether they consented to this investigation, and the submission of the submitted investigation was regarded as consent. This study was approved by the ethical committee of the organization the author belongs to. Results: Responses were obtained from 1,499 people (valid response rate 28.1%). The average age of the subjects was 19.6 years. Regarding menstruation, 381 (25.4%) had abnormal cycles, 137 (9.1%) had abnormal menstrual periods, 313 (21.6%) had a large amount of menstrual blood, and 145 had abnormal bleeding. (10.0%), 411 people (28.4%) had problems with their daily lives. Lower abdominal pain was the most common physical symptom during menstruation in 1070 (71.3%), drowsiness in 695 (46.3%), low back pain in 692 (46.1%), rough skin in 654 (43.6%), and appetite change in 637(42.5%). There were 101 patients (6.7%) without symptoms. Mental symptoms were such as frustrated 757 (50.5%) and 631 (42.1%) were depressed. The most common way to deal with menstruation was to lie down or take a rest with 798 (53.2%) and 399 (26.6%) were doing nothing. Conclusion: Those with menstrual disorders and those with menstrual symptoms that interfere with daily life are present in more than a quarter and it suggest the need for educational intervention in knowledge and care methods that they can care to be themselves.

Lactobacillus gasseri OLL 2716 promotes the elimination of Helicobacter pylori and is utilized in yogurts that are specifically labeled as health foods. On the other hand, milk whey fermented by Propionibacterium freudenreichii ET-3, which increases the numbers of Bifidobacterium, is effective for intestinal disorders. We previously demonstrated that oral administration of L. gasseri and P. freudenreichii fermentation metabolites (LP-FM) improved calf intestinal microflora and reduced the incidence of diarrhea. However, the detailed immunological mechanisms responsible for these effects remain to be fully understood. In this study, we investigated whether LP-FM stimulates the innate immune response and promotes the elimination of Listeria monocytogenes in mice. The C57BL/6 female mice that were treated with LP-FM or L. gasseri fermentation metabolites alone for 4 weeks had more peripheral white blood cells than the untreated control mice. In particular, LP-FM-treated mice had higher CD4- and CD8-positive T-cell counts. The levels of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species produced by peritoneal macrophages were also higher in LP-FM-treated mice. Furthermore, LP-FM-treated mice that were infected with L. monocytogenes exhibited significant enhancement of the elimination of Listeria from the spleen and the liver in comparison with untreated control mice infected with Listeria. The activation of innate immunity by LP-FM was increased by the combination of fermentation metabolites from P. freudenreichii. These results suggest that LP-FM, which contains metabolites from L. gasseri and P. freudenreichii, stimulates the function of the innate immune system, thereby significantly promoting the elimination of L. monocytogenes in mice.
