Reliability Analysis of Networked Control Systems with the Consideration of Operating Frequency

Meiqi Guo,Ruiying Li 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2021 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.19 No.9

The operating frequency of the networked control system (NCS) determines both its control performance and heat flux density. Considering the significant effect of thermal stress on the reliability of electronics, a quantitative reliability analysis framework is proposed for NCSs with the consideration of its operating frequency. It includes 5 main steps: 1) Compute the power consumption of all its electronic components using circuit simulation; 2) obtain the thermal stress of these components by thermal simulation; 3) apply the thermal stress results to assessthe reliability of components using the part stress analysis method; 4) calculate the reliability of the modules using reliability block diagrams; and 5) quantify the reliability of the NCS by combining the graph reduction method and other network reliability algorithms together. A double loop networked control system is used as an example to verify the effectiveness of our method.

Efficacy and Safety of Anti-Tumor Necrosis Factor- Alpha Agents for Patients with Intestinal Behcet’s Disease: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

        Qingfeng Zhang,Chunyan Ma,Rongrong Dong,Weizhen Xiang,Meiqi Li,Zhenzhen Ma,Qingrui Yang 연세대학교의과대학 2022 Yonsei medical journal Vol.63 No.2

Purpose: Intestinal Behcet’s disease (BD) is a systemic autoimmune disease for which treatment options are limited. As a prospectivetherapeutic strategy for intestinal BD, anti-tumor necrosis factor-alpha (anti-TNF-α) agents have received increasing attention. In this study, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the efficacy and safety of anti-TNF-αagents for patients with intestinal BD. Materials and Methods: We searched PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases up to July 1, 2021 and articles that metthe eligibility criteria were further assessed. Pooled rates were synthesized by a randomized effects model using Stata software. Results: Eleven clinical trials covering 671 patients with intestinal BD were included. According to compositive data, the pooledrate for remission was 39% [95% confidence interval (CI) 26–52] in patients receiving anti-TNF-α agents. Intestinal symptomswere cured in 70% (95% CI 53–84) of the patients, and the rate for endoscopic healing was 65% (95% CI 52–78). Corticosteroid discontinuationwas achieved in 43% (95% CI 28–58) of the patients, and the dose reduction of corticosteroid was 20.43 mg (95% CI13.4–27.46). There were 239 adverse events and 80 serious adverse events during follow-up. Conclusion: Our study indicated that anti-TNF-α agents may serve as an effective treatment with acceptable safety for patientswith intestinal BD. However, more robust evidence from randomized controlled trials is urgently needed to assess the long-termefficacy and safety of anti-TNF-α agents for those patients.

Neuroprotective effect of green tea extractives against oxidative stress by enhancing the survival and proliferation of PC12 cells

        Zhenlu Cai,Xiaoxuan Hu,Ruolan Tan,Yunran Feng,Meiqi Sun,Ning Ma,Xingxing Li,Li Huang,Jing An,Qian Ge,Haixia Lu 대한독성 유전단백체 학회 2019 Molecular & cellular toxicology Vol.15 No.4

Backgrounds: Previous studies were mainly focused on the effect of catechins and caffeine, the main pharmacological ingredients of green tea. However, the ordinary way of taking green tea is by drinking the tea water. Hence the benefits of water extractives of green tea were investigated in the current study. Methods: H2O2 was applied to induce the oxidative stress on PC12 cells. The neuroprotective effects of green tea against oxidative stress were determined by observing the biological behaviors of PC12 cells. Results: With the pre-treatment of light green tea, the survival and proliferation of oxidative stressed PC12 cells were significantly enhanced. H2O2 induced PC12 cell apoptosis was completely reversed. Consistently, the expression of JNK was up-regulated while the caspase-3 was down-regulated. Conclusion: These results suggested that drinking green tea, particularly the light green tea, performed neuroprotective effects against oxidative stress.
