In this paper, fiber grating technology is used for accurately measure stresses, temperature and displacement. The paper introduces the basic principles of FBG technology and the wavelength demodulation method of FBG sensors, and put fiber grating technology into practical engineering projects. The paper design a optical fiber grating real-time automation monitoring system to distributed measure stress, temperature and displacement in geological disaster body, to provide effective technical supports for geological disaster prevention and mitigation.
Research of Online Reviews Deviation for Sales in B2C Plafform

This research focuses on online reviews deviation in B2C platform, and tries to analyze the phenomenon that shops which have large sales volume are lowly recommended compared with the average in Tmall. After verifying the validity of online reviews, we find out that the consumers' sensibility for negative comments become weaker. And the sellers’ sincerity that reflected by their replies to negative comments have little influence on sales. Only the number of total comments and positive comments can obviously influence on sales . Shops, in B2C platform, just concern about taking part in sales promotion to create hot products, instead of devoting to the quality of service. B2C platform whose primary business is selling entrance of users flow, prefers to protect large sellers, and the unreasonable rules in online reviews is the main reason for partial failure in the influence of reviews to sales.

"In this work, organic–inorganic hybrid ultrathin transparent films (UTFs), produced by layer-by-layer (LBL) assembly of the europium inclusion complex of β-cyclodextrin ( β-CD) and Mg–Al layered double hydroxide (MgAl–NO3–LDHs) nanosheets, are reported. UV-visible (UV-Vis) absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy show orderly growth of the europium inclusion complex of β-CD/layered double hydroxide (EICC/LDH) films with an increasing number of deposition cycles. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy measurements indicate that the films feature periodic layered structures with uniform surface morphology. Moreover, when EICC is assembled with inorganic rigid LDH nanosheets, the lifetimes are prolonged due to the isolation effect, and the UTFs are transparent with high brightness, which indicate that these films could serve as new optical materials."

Background: Fibrosis and inflammation due to ureteropelvic junction obstruction substantially contributes to poor renal function. Urine-derived stem-cell-derived exosomes (USC-Exos) have therapeutic effects through paracrine. Methods: In vitro, the effects of USC-Exos on the biological functions of HK-2 and human umbilical vein endothelial cells were tested. Cell inflammation and fibrosis were induced by transforming growth factor-β1 and interleukin-1β, and their anti-inflammatory and antifibrotic effects were observed after exogenous addition of USC-Exos. Through high-throughput sequencing of microRNA in USC-Exos, the pathways and key microRNAs were selected. Then, the antifibrotic and anti-inflammatory effects of exosomal miR-122-5p and target genes were verified. The role of the miR-122-5p/SOX2 axis in anti-inflammatory and antifibrotic effects was verified. In vivo, a rabbit model of partial unilateral ureteral obstruction (PUUO) was established. Magnetic resonance imaging recorded the volume of the renal pelvis after modeling, and renal tissue was pathologically analyzed. Results: We examined the role of USC-Exos and their miR-122-5p content in obstructive kidney injury. These Exos exhibit antifibrotic and anti-inflammatory activities. SOX2 is the hub gene in PUUO and negatively related to renal function. We confirmed the binding relationship between miR-122-5p and SOX2. The anti-inflammatory and antifibrotic effects of miR-122-5p were inhibited, indicating that miR-122-5p has anti-inflammatory and antifibrotic effects by inhibiting SOX2 expression. In vivo, the PUUO group showed typical obstructive kidney injury after modeling. After USC-Exo treatment, the shape of the renal pelvis shown a remarkable improvement, and inflammation and fibrosis decreased. Conclusions: We confirmed that miR-122-5p from USC-Exos targeting SOX2 is a new molecular target for postoperative recovery treatment of obstructive kidney injury.

Purpose: Allergic rhinitis (AR) is a common otolaryngology disease and one of the clinical causes of olfactory dysfunction (OD). The olfactory bulb serves as a transfer station for olfactory information transmission, and alleviating its neuroinflammation may be expected to improve AR-induced OD. Recent studies have suggested that the dopamine D2 receptor acts as a key target in regulating immune functions and neuroinflammatory reaction. However, the effect of dopamine D2 receptor on AR-induced neuroinflammation is still unknown. Methods: An AR mouse model with OD induced by ovalbumin were constructed. The buried food pellet test was to evaluate the olfactory function of the mice. Immunofluorescence staining, hematoxylin and eosin staining, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and western blotting were also used to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the antiinflammatory effects of the dopamine D2 receptor in AR-induced OD. Results: We found that AR-induced OD has a relationship with inflammatory responses in the olfactory bulb. Nasal administration of quinpirole (Quin, a dopamine D2 receptor agonist, 3 mg/kg) improved olfactory function in mice, inhibited the expression of toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4)/nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) signalings and the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin (IL)-1β and IL-6 in the olfactory bulb. In vitro, Quin (20 μmol/L) inhibited the release of TLR4/NF-κB signalings-dependent inflammatory cytokines in cultured microglia. Conclusions: Activation of the dopamine D2 receptor inhibits the release of inflammatory cytokines through TLR4/NF-κB signaling in the olfactory bulb microglia, and protects olfactory function.
DNA-functionalized single-walled carbon nanotube-based sensor array for gas monitoring

Nine deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) sequences were used to functionalize single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) sensors to detect the trace amount of methanol, acetone, and HCl in vapor. DNA 24 Ma (24 randomly arranged nitrogenous bases with one amine at each end of it) decorated SWNT sensor and DNA 24 A (only adenine (A) base with a length of 24) decorated SWNT sensor have demonstrated the largest sensing responses towards acetone and HCl, respectively. On the other hand, for the DNA GT decorated SWNT sensors with different sequence lengths, the optimum DNA sequence length for acetone and HCl sensing is 32 and 8, separately. The detection of methanol, acetone, and HCl have identified that DNA functionalized SWNT sensors exhibit great selectivity, sensitivity, and repeatability with an accuracy of more than 90%. Further, a sensor array composed of SWNT functionalized with various DNA sequences was utilized to identify acetone and HCl through pattern recognition. The sensor array is a combination of four different DNA functionalized SWNT sensors and two bare SWNT sensors (work as reference). This wireless sensing system has enabled real-time gas monitoring and air quality assurance for safety and security.
