Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) are widespread soil endophytic fungi, forming mutualistic relationships with the vast majority of land plants. Biochar (BC) has been reported to improve soil fertility and promote plant growth. However, limited studies are available concerning the combined effects of AMF and BC on soil community structure and plant growth. In this work, a pot experiment was designed to investigate the effects of AMF and BC on the rhizosphere microbial community of Allium fistulosum L. Using Illumina high-throughput sequencing, we showed that inoculation of AMF and BC had a significant impact on soil microbial community composition, diversity, and versatility. Increases were observed in both plant growth (the plant height by 8.6%, shoot fresh weight by 12.1%) and root morphological traits (average diameter by 20.5%). The phylogenetic tree also showed differences in the fungal community composition in A. fistulosum. In addition, Linear discriminant analysis (LDA) effect size (LEfSe) analysis revealed that 16 biomarkers were detected in the control (CK) and AMF treatment, while only 3 were detected in the AMF + BC treatment. Molecular ecological network analysis showed that the AMF + BC treatment group had a more complex network of fungal communities, as evidenced by higher average connectivity. The functional composition spectrum showed significant differences in the functional distribution of soil microbial communities among different fungal genera. The structural equation model (SEM) confirmed that AMF could improve the microbial multifunctionality by regulating the rhizosphere fungal diversity and soil properties. Our findings provide new information on the effects of AMF and biochar on plants and soil microbial communities.

Four models are used to estimate the hourly solar radiation on 15 pieces of different tilted photovoltaic (PV) modules in Wuhan, China based on power and solar radiation data during a whole year. The optimum tilt angle (OTA) in Wuhan for yearly and semi-yearly adjustment was determined. Then it was determined that the best mode is the tilt angle of PV module adjusted every half a year. In semi-yearly adjustment, OTA in semi-year of winter and summer is found as 45°, 15°, respectively. Experimental results verify the theoretical calculated values of the OTA with high precision. Energy radio (ER) reveals PV modules with adjustment of tilt angle twice a year has a capability to improve nearly 7% in comparison with fixed type. The best model was chosen based on test results from statistical indicators. The statistical results demonstrate that among the studied models, Liu&Jordan model is the most accurate.

Solid waste filling is an important development direction for filling mining technology. This paper proposes to use waste rock and aeolian sand as aggregates to fill the underground extraction area in order to reduce the environmental damage of related waste solid. The experiments are optimized by response surface methodology and multivariate nonlinear response models are constructed to investigate the effects of different factors on uniaxial compressive strength (UCS) of concrete-like material (CLM). The performance of different swarm intelligence optimization algorithms is analyzed and combined with support vector regression model (SVR) to construct an intelligent prediction model for UCS. The results show that the packing density has a maximum value of 0.74 when the proportion of waste rock is around 0.6. The response model constructed in this paper has a P-value < 0.01 and R2 > 0.8, which indicates its high significance and goodness of fit. The UCS of CLM increases with the increase of cement content and slurry mass fraction, while it also increases and then decreases with the increase of proportion of waste rock. The ratio of waste rock and aeolian sand will affect the compactness of cemented structure. The better the ratio, the higher the average grey value of the cemented structure, the more compactness the cemented structure. The whale optimization algorithm-SVR model constructed in this paper has a prediction accuracy of more than 99% for UCS of CLM, which achieves high accuracy and fast prediction of UCS under multifactor conditions.
PQ Control of Micro Grid Inverters with Axial Voltage Regulators
Yang Chen,Jinbin Zhao,Keqing Qu,Fen Li 전력전자학회 2015 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.15 No.6
This paper presents a PQ control strategy for micro grid inverters with axial voltage regulators. The inverter works in the voltage-controlled mode and can help improve the terminal power quality. The inverter has two axial voltage regulators. The 1st regulator involves the output voltage amplitude and output impedance, while the 2nd regulator controls the output frequency. The inverter system is equivalent to a controllable voltage source with a controllable inner output impedance. The basic PQ control for micro grid inverters is easy to accomplish. The output active and reactive powers can be decoupled well by controlling the two axial voltages. The 1st axial voltage regulator controls the reactive power, while the 2nd regulator controls the active power. The paper analyses the axial voltage regulation mechanism, and evaluates the PQ decoupling effect mathematically. The effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is validated by simulation and experimental results.

BACKGROUND: Diabetic wound healing remains a major challenge due to the impaired functionality of angiogenesis by persistent hyperglycemia. Mesenchymal stem cell exosomes are appropriate candidates for regulating the formation of angiogenesis in tissue repair and regeneration. Here, we explored the effects of exosomes derived from human amniotic mesenchymal stem cell (hAMSC-Exos) on the biological activities of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) treated with high glucose and on diabetic wound healing and investigate lncRNAs related to angiogenesis in hAMSC-Exos. METHODS: hAMSCs and hAMSC-Exos were isolated and identified by flow cytometry or western blot. A series of functional assays such as cell counting kit-8, scratching, transwell and tube formation assays were performed to evaluate the potential effect of hAMSC-Exos on high glucose-treated HUVECs. The effect of hAMSC-Exos on diabetic wound healing were tested by measuring wound closure rates and immunohistochemical staining of CD31. Subsequently, the lncRNAs profiles in hAMSC-Exos and hAMSCs were examined to screen the lncRNAs related to angiogenesis. RESULTS: The isolated hAMSC-Exos had a size range of 30–150 nm and were positive for CD9, CD63 and CD81. The hAMSC-Exos facilitate the functional properties of high glucose-treated HUVECs including the proliferation, migration and the angiogenic activities as well as wound closure and angiogenesis in diabetic wound. hAMSC-Exos were enriched lncRNAs that related to angiogenesis, including PANTR1, H19, OIP5-AS1 and NR2F1-AS1. CONCLUSION: Our findings demonstrated hAMSC-Exos facilitate diabetic wound healing by angiogenesis and contain several exosomal lncRNAs related to angiogenesis, which may represent a promising strategy for diabetic wound healing.
