공냉식 오토 미션 오일쿨러의 효율 개선에 대한 실험적인 연구

Drawn-cup type (air-cooled) oil cooler, which is widely used for automatic transmission oil cooling, has unsatisfactory performance for its weight and cost. In addition, it has leakage problems because of too many welded part. The parallel flow type oil cooler which is adapting the extrusion tube was investigated to improve the efficiency of oil cooler and to reduce leakage problems by reducing welded part. Bench and vehicle condition test was performed to find the optimized specification. The test result show that the parallel flow type oil cooler can reduce weight and oil flow resistance respectably in comparison with drawn-cup type oil cooler at similar volume condition.
