This paper is intended to study 〈Jumong Myth〉 which's written by many writers newly. It seems to me that there are characters which are represented images of Jumong and Yoohwa in 〈Jumong Myth〉 in their works. First of all, it seems that they showed aspects of Jumong or Yoohwa as the Hero of the founder or the Hero's supporter of wisdom in their poems 『Dongmaeng』 and 『The Four Pillars and Eight Characters of Go, Ju-mong as the founder of Goguryeo Dongmyeongsungwang』by Seo, Jeong-ju, 『Lady Yoohwa』by Song Su-kwon and 『The sky of Jumong』 by Yoon Keum-cho. Only Seo‘s characters are expressed a destiny and a right but Song and Yoon's are represented the Hero itself in the narrative process through agony of realities. The secondly, it seems that Lee, Kwang-su showed aspects of Jumong as a so n?a husband?a father through the life of the Hero in his work 『Dongmyeongwang of love』. And Song Ha-chun showed aspects of Yoohwa in 〈Jumong Myth〉 through a woman as a unusual birth of process and preservation of life in his work 『Daughters of Haback』. In conclusion, it seems that their works either poems or novels are represented and recreated various images of Jumong and Yoohwa in 〈Jumong Myth〉.

Protective Effect of Curcumin and Aqueous Extract of Onchengyeum on CCl_(4)-induced Hepatotoxicity

An aqueous extract of oriental herbal composition named Onchengyeum and curcumin, an antioxidant isolated from turmeric (Curcuma longa Linné) reduced hepatotoxicity induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCl_(4)). Improved liver function was observed by measuring the activities of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine (CRE), total cholesterol (TCHO), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-CHO), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-CHO), total protein (TP), albumin (ALB) and total bilirubin (BIL) in serum. Hepatic parameters monitored were levels of cholesterol (CHO), triglyceride (TG), malondialdehyde (MDA) and content of cytochrome P450 (CYP), level of glutathione (GSH), activities of NADPH-CYP reductase, superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione S-transferase (GST), glutathione reductase (GR), glutathione peroxidase (GPx). The histopathological examination showed that the treatment of Onchengyeum and curcumin relieved the ballooning degeneration of hepatocytes which had been generated by CCl_(4). The results suggested that hepatoprotective effects of Onchengyeum and curcumin possibly are due to their promising antioxidative activity.

Iridology, developed more than 100 years ago, is the diagnosis of medical conditions through noting irregularities of the pigmentation in the iris The purpose of this study is to compare interrelation between CVA, hypertension family history and cardio-renal connective tissue in Iris Constitution through iris constitution examination. The subjects consist of 114 patients who were examined in Iris Constitution at Chonju Oriental Medicine Hospital attached to Wonkwang Univ. from September. 1St. 2000 to August. 31th. 2002. 1. In the distribution of Iris Constitution, among of 79cases, There are neurogenic type 13cases, abdominal connective tissue weakness constitution 31 cases, cardio-renal connective tissue weakness constitution 6 cases, cholesterol 7 cases and others 22 case in control group. 2. There are familial history of CVA and hypertention 32 cases, no familial history of CVA and hypertention1 3 cases, in 35cases of experimental group. These results imply that there is meaningfulness of interrelation between cardio-renal connective tissue weakness constitution and. CVA, hypertention.

H 추정기를 이용한 시스템 식별

For system identification, existing LMS type estimators are widely used. For example Kalman filter is one of them. But since 1980s H cencepts are studied theoretically and recently H estimators are tried by several reserchers. In this paper, a state estimator is derived for the H∞ norm of the estimation error spectrum matrix to be minimized. For the solution of this problem, duality between this problem and the well-known H control problem is derived. So the standard H control problem solution method can be used for the estimation problem solution. The computer simulation results show that H estimator has less estimation error and so this is better than the existing Kalman filter estimator.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the syntactic phenomena of existential there-sentences and list there-sentences within the minimalist framework. We argue that list there-sentences must be distinguished from existential there-sentence has the accusative Case feature while the existential verb be does not. So, a postverbal pronoum bearing accusative Case in a list there-sentence is checked off its Case feature by the verb be. Second, the expletive there in an existential there-sentence bears the [-Definite] feature but the there in a list there-sentence does not bear any feature relevant to definiteness. This assumption while only an indefinite postverbal noun phrase is allowed in existential there-sentences. Finally, the number agreement phenomenon appearing in list there-sentences is accounted for by assuming that the ellipsis of there and be occurs in list there-sentences.

接近性과 地價의 空間構造: 서울시를 사례로

Land Values have been recogized as the best economic indicator for the sites within the city. The purpose of this study is to investigate the spatial structure of the land values in Seoul. The focus is placed on the relationships between accessibility and land values. In particular, we examined the role of the distance from city center and daytime population, which constitute the major factors of accessibility, to the spatial structure of land values. We utilize the official land price promulgated on the January first, 1993. The average land value of each cell, whose area is unit square kilometer, is computed and applied in this study. In order to investigate the spatial structures of land values, we analyzed land value profiles along eight radial axes and six major arterial roads by utilizing the comparative method. We also construct pofiles of daytime population along the six arterial roads for the comparison with the spatial structures of land values. The profiles show the highest land value at the center and decline sharply within two or three kilometers. And then they decline gently, though several big and small peaks appear. Therefore, we can say that the land value profiles show distance decay functions in general. Variations exist more or less in the numbers of peaks and their distances from the center by axes. Transportation influences on the land values strongly. The land value profiles of the major arterial roads show much higher and farther expanded than those of direct radial axes. The profiles of daytime population show nearly same spatial structures with those of land values. However, several exceptions exist. Yeido where many office buildings are agglomerated, shows extremely high daytime population compare to land value. Shinchon and Guro-dong around which universities and industrial factories are gathered respectively also show high daytime population.

共同住宅의 管理規約에 관한 법적 고찰

Recently, several legal problems has been rising in the management of the common apartments. For example, some managers of the apartments are appointed by the apartment construction companies and they work for the companies, not for residents. The residents want to manage their apartments themselves, but they don't know much about information of that. And they don't have much experience about the management, so they have some damages. There is a decision of Korean Supreme Court about the apartment management, and that decision held that the debt of the manager who was appointed by the construction company was not the debt of residents of the apartment. I think that this decision is right because the residents didn't have any opportunity about controlling that debt. This thesis is the study on the several legal problems of the apartment management. And this study is about the provisions of Korean Civil Law and other several laws about the apartment management rules. The contents of these provisions are not sufficient for protecting residents of common apartments and some are apt to be misused by the construction about that. The apartment management rules are made by the decision of the residents, but the procedures of making those are also able to be misused by the construction companies or management companies. So the procedures of protecting residents are needed. And also the residents of common apartments are needed to act actively for their apartments management.
