        敦煌小方盘城遗址出土残册散简刍议

        1998년 발굴된 小方盘簡牘은 손상되고 흩어진 것이 비교적 심하지만, 기존의 책자 복원원칙에 의거하여 가능한 한 그 내용을 어떤 한 종류로 귀납시킨다면, 簡牘의 이해와 연구에 도움이 될 수 있다. 이러한 과정을 통해 그 簡牘에 포함된 사회의 정보를 더욱 잘 볼 수 있다. “起居簿”는 破羌亭이 陽關에서 80里밖에 떨어져 있지 않다는 점과 누군가의 1일 行程이란 점을 통해 양관의 위치를 알려준다. “北边挈令”과 유사한 기능을 가지느 “北边板诏令”은 한대 율령제도를 보충해줄 수 있는 중요한 자료이다. In 1998, when the site of Xiaofangpancheng was restored, Han dynasty the wood slips excavated by the Dunhuang Museum were published in the book Yumen Pass Hanjian(玉门关汉简). Several slips were scattered and summarized in the form of fragments. Although the text content is not much, it can provide keys to understanding several important issues. The qijubu(起居簿) should be the most accurate distance known to record the location of the remains of Yangguan Pass in the Han Dynasty. The beibian zhaoling(北边诏令), which has a similar function to the beibian qieling(北边挈令), is an important supplement to the Han Dynasty law system.

        Preparation and characterization of a porous silicate material from silica fume

        A porous silicate material derived from silica fume was successfully prepared and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, Thermogravimetry and Differential thermal gravity (TG-DTG), N2 adsorption and desorption isotherms, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Raw silica fume was analyzed by XRD, FT-IR and SEM. The analysis results of silica fume indicated that SiO2 in silica fume is mainly determined as amorphous state, and that the particles of raw silica fume exhibited characteristic spherical structure with a diameter of from 50 nm to 200 nm. The preparation of the porous silicate material involved two steps. The first step was the extraction of the SiO3 2− leachate from raw silica fume. The maximum value of SiO3 2− extraction yield was obtained under the following conditions: reaction temperature of 120 oC, reaction time of 120 min, NaOH concentration of 15%, and alkali to SiO2 molar ratio of 2. The second step was the preparation of the porous silicate material though the reaction of SiO3 2− leachate and Ca(OH)2 suspension liquid. The optimum preparation conditions were as follows: preparation temperature of 90 oC, preparation time of 1.5 h, Si/Ca molar ratio of 1 : 1, and stirring rate of 100 r/min. The BET surface area and pore size of the porous silicate material were 220.7m2·g−1 and 8.55 cm3/g, respectively. The porous silicate material presented an amorphous and unordered structure. The spectroscopic results indicated that the porous silicate material was mainly composed of Si, Ca, O, C, and Na, in the form of Ca2+, SiO3 2−, CO3 2− and Na+ ions, respectively, which agreed with the XRD, TG-DSC, and FT-IR data. The N2 adsorption-desorption isotherm mode indicates that the porous silicate material belonged to a typical mesoporous material. The porous silicate material presented efficiency for the removal of formaldehyde: it showed a formaldehyde adsorption capacity of 8.01mg/g for 140 min at 25 oC.

        Subject positions embodied in military uniform and its influences on modern fashion design

        As a solemn and serious uniform, military uniform can be differentiated easily from any other clothing in the aspects of color, material and style. Inspired by military uniform, fashion designers have been applying military uniform elements into modern fashion design in recent years, which helps to bring military uniform from the trench onto international fashion runway. The primary method of this research is theory analysis method and exampling study method. Based on the collected materials of modern military uniform, this paper takes the fashion and cultural study theory of the famous American scholar Susan B. Kaiser as the leading theory to analyze four subject positions embodied in military uniform, including nation, rank, gender and time and space. By analyzing the subject positions embodied in military uniform, it shows the rich cultural connotation of military uniform and the function of various small details. Meanwhile, by giving specific examples, this paper explores the influences of military uniform on modern fashion design in respect to color, style, material, pattern and accessory. Through the conduct of this research, it comes to the conclusion that military uniform also has the characteristics and properties described in the fashion and cultural theory of Susan B. Kaiser, in addition, designers can be inspired by every specific object around them, which shows the talents of designers.

        A HYBRID ITERATIVE METHOD OF SOLUTION FOR MIXED EQUILIBRIUM AND OPTIMIZATION PROBLEMS

        In this paper, we introduce a hybrid iterative method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem, the set of common fixed points of finitely many nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for an inverse strongly monotone mapping in a Hilbert space. We show that the iterative sequences converge strongly to a common element of the three sets. The results extended and improved the corresponding results of L.-C.Ceng and J.-C.Yao.

        Random Access Channel with Retransmission Gain

        An analysis of the throughput and stability region of random access systems is currently of interest in research and industry. This study evaluated the performance of a multiuser random access channel with a retransmission gain. The channel was composed of a media access control (MAC) determined by the transmission probabilities and a multiuser communication channel characterized by the packet reception probabilities as functions of the number of packet transmissions and the collision status. The analysis began with an illustrative two-user channel, and was extended to a general multiuser channel. For the two-user channel, a sufficient condition was derived, under which the maximum throughput was achieved with a control-free MAC. For the channel with retransmission gain, the maximum steady throughput was obtained in a closed form. The condition under which the random access channel can acquire retransmission gain was also obtained. The stability region of the general random access channel was derived. These results include those of the well-known orthogonal channel, collision channel and slotted Aloha channel with packet reception as a special instance. The analytical and numerical results showed that exploiting the retransmission gain can increase the throughput significantly and expand the stability region of the random access channel. The analytical results predicted the performance in the simulations quite well.

        Genetic Relationships Among Panicle Characteristics of Rice (Oryza sativa L.) Using Unconditional and Conditional QTL Analyses

        Using mixed-model-based composite interval mapping and conditional statistical methods, we studied quantitative trait loci (QTLs) with epistatic effects and QTLs by environment interaction effects for rice seed set percent (SSP), filled grain number per plant (FGP), and panicle length (PL). A population of 241 recombinant inbred lines was used which was derived from a cross between “Zhenshan 97” and “Minghui 63.” Its linkage map included 221 molecular markers. Our QTL analysis detected 28, 25, and 32 QTLs for SSP, FGP, and PL, respectively. Each QTL explained 1.37%∼13.19% of the mean phenotypic variation. A comparison of conventional and conditional mapping provided information about the genetic control system involved in the synthetic process of SSP, FGP, and PL at the level of individual QTLs. Conditional QTLs with reduced (or increased) effects were identified for SSP, which were significantly influenced by FGP or PL. Some QTLs could express independently for the given traits, thereby providing possibilities for simultaneous improvement of SSR and PL, and SSR and FGP. Epistasis was more sensitive to environmental conditions than were additive effects.

        Characterization of high-alumina coal fly ash based silicate material and its adsorption performance on volatile organic compound elimination

        A highly stable silicate material from high-alumina coal fly ash was prepared and characterized using X-raydiffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, thermal analysis, Xrayphotoelectron spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. The spectral results show that the silicate material was mainlycomposed of six elements, C, Ca, O, Si, Mg, and Al, in the form of Ca2+, Mg2+, Al3+, SiO32−, and CO32− ions. Some adsorbedwater and/or water of crystallization was also observed. The silicate material showed exceptionally high capabilityto adsorb volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The results of dynamic adsorption behavior show that the silicatematerial presents similar properties with commercial activated carbon and stronger absorption properties than commercialdiatomite for the adsorption of VOCs. The FTIR spectral results show weak hydrogen bonding interactions ofthe silicate material with three VOCs.

        The importance of deprotonation of copper oxyhydroxide on its activity towards water oxidation reactions

        This work reveals a schematic strategy to massively fabricate a series of OH-riched copper oxides (CuO-OH), which could be used as highly efficient chemo catalysts for water oxidation reaction (WOR). The results indicate that the as-prepared CuO-OH exhibited excellent catalytic activity (2,900 µmol·h−1·g−1) toward water oxidation, far higher than the pure CuO formed through calcination. According to the radical capture results and the DRIFTS, XRD, and Raman spectra data, sulfate radicals were the main active species. Subsequent data of BET, HR-TEM, and FT-IR spectra reveal that the CuO-OH could activate persulfate ions in the dark to produce sulfate radicals efficiently at room temperature and promote the sulfate radicals to carry out immediately to hydroxide-mediated deprotonation steps in WOR. Based on the results above, a mechanism is proposed.

      • Novel High Speed Railway Uninterruptible Flexible Connector Based On Modular Multilevel Converter Structure

        Phase sequence commutating method among traction feeders results in a neutral section without power supply between two feeders in traction substation of electrified railway. Electric locomotives suffer from a nopower time of more than 100 millisecond when going through the neutral section, during which the power failure and restoration process causes serious over-voltage and over-current problems. A novel railway uninterruptible flexible connector based on two-phase modular multilevel converter structure(MMC-UFC) is proposed in this paper, which can completely eliminate power supply dead zone. System utilization and operational principle are analyzed. Mathematical model of MMC-UFC is built to derive the difference between MMC-UFC. Double close-loop control strategies are given and close-loop control of both upper arm current and lower arm current for MMC converter is proposed to ensure the quality of output current. PSCAD/EMTDC simulations and experiment are carried out to prove the effectiveness of proposed MMC-UFC and its control system.
