        Parametric Euler Sums of Harmonic Numbers

        In this paper, we define a parametric variant of generalized Euler sums and construct contour integration to give some explicit evaluations of these parametric Euler sums. In particular, we establish several explicit formulas of (Hurwitz) zeta functions, linear and quadratic parametric Euler sums. Furthermore, we also give an explicit evaluation of alternating double zeta values $\ze(\overline{2j};2m+1)$ in terms of a combination of alternating Riemann zeta values by using the parametric Euler sums.

        Visual Tracking Using Improved Multiple Instance Learning with Co-training Framework for Moving Robot

        Object detection and tracking is the basic capability of mobile robots to achieve natural human-robot interaction. In this paper, an object tracking system of mobile robot is designed and validated using improved multiple instance learning algorithm. The improved multiple instance learning algorithm which prevents model drift significantly. Secondly, in order to improve the capability of classifiers, an active sample selection strategy is proposed by optimizing a bag Fisher information function instead of the bag likelihood function, which dynamically chooses most discriminative samples for classifier training. Furthermore, we integrate the co-training criterion into algorithm to update the appearance model accurately and avoid error accumulation. Finally, we evaluate our system on challenging sequences and an indoor environment in a laboratory. And the experiment results demonstrate that the proposed methods can stably and robustly track moving object.

        Experimental Investigation on the Bond Behavior of Deformed Bars in a Class of Structural Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Concrete

        The structural expanded polystyrene (EPS) concrete (above 35 MPa) has the potential to be used as metro track bed to reduce and isolate vibration, but its bond behavior is still unclear. This inhibits its application because it is often used in combination with reinforcing bar. In this paper, a class of structural EPS concrete (above 35 MPa) was developed. Based on this, a series of pull-out tests were conducted and the bond behavior of deformed bars in these structural EPS concretes was investigated. In addition, effects of rebar bond length and rebar diameter were analyzed in detail. Experimental results indicate that the structural EPS concrete suffers splitting failure more easily than the conventional concrete (CC). Increase of EPS replacement, rebar bond length or rebar diameter tends to cause the splitting failure of structural EPS concrete. Moreover, with increase of EPS replacement, the failure process is less explosive and more gradual. The stress-slip relationships of the most specimens show three stages, namely linear ascending, non-linear progression, and descending stages. The bond strength of structural EPS concrete is found depended linearly on the power function of its compressive strength, relative cover thickness (c/d) and relative rebar bond length (L/d), respectively. Accordingly, a bond strength prediction model was formulated, and it can precisely predict the bond strength of deformed bars in structural EPS concrete, specimens failing in splitting or splitting-pull out modes, and no fiber added. The results can provide reference for the design of structural EPS concrete.

        A Na-Rich Nanocomposite of Na1.83Ni0.12Mn0.88Fe (CN)6/RGO as Cathode for Superior Performance Sodium-Ion Batteries

        Prussian blue analogs are receiving intense attention due to their high theoretical energy density and low cost, but their real applications are still hampered by poor electronic conductivity and cycling stability. Here, Na1.83Ni0.12Mn0.88Fe(CN)6 wrapped with graphene was synthesized by a facile co-precipitation method. The existence of RGO not only significantly increases the conductivity of the cathode, but also makes the framework much more robust during long cycling process. As the cathode, the Na1.83Ni0.12Mn0.88Fe(CN)6/RGO is able to deliver a high initial discharge capacity of 120mAh g-1 at a current density of 20mA g-1 with superior capacity retention of 96.7% after 100 cycles. Even at a current density of 1000mA g-1, the cell still delivers a capacity of 86mAh g-1, indicating outstanding rate capability. The results and the facile synthesis method enable Na1.83Ni0.12Mn0.88Fe(CN)6/RGO to the competitive for a future energy storage system.
