This paper introduces a novel approach for On-Board Charger (OBC) fault diagnosis utilizing a boosting algorithm. As electric vehicle technology advances, ensuring the reliability of OBCs becomes imperative. The proposed methodology harnesses the power of boosting algorithms to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of fault detection in OBC systems. By employing a diverse set of weak learners, the algorithm collectively strengthens the diagnostic capabilities, effectively identifying and classifying faults within the charger. This study demonstrates results through Psim simulations, showcasing the preprocessing and algorithms robustness in addressing diverse normal/fault signal scenarios. This innovative application of boosting algorithms in OBC fault diagnosis holds significant potential for advancing the reliability and performance of electric vehicle charging systems.
